The match was close, it was difficult to tell how had the advantage at this point as it seemed both teams had lost players. The Hufflepuffs played hard and Winnie respected them for it. At least it would be an entertaining game.

She did catch a glimpse of Marshal entering the stands and raised her hand to wave in his direction, before realizing he was sitting next to Matt. She could only pray he wasn't about to give him an earful, though part of her naively hoped they would get along.

She gnawed on her lower lip nervously, but her train of thought was disrupted when Aurora started to cheer her on. "What...? Me?" She glanced towards the sky and then back at Aurora. "None of our chasers are down, I'm not flying yet!"

Trix booed when their teammates were given laps, hoping soon that the seeker would catch the snitch. Their eyes darted back and forth from the chasers to the goals, hoping that the other team would be called out for the shenanigans they were pulling, even though their team was being just as bad. "Aww come on ref! How did you not see that!" They brought their fist down on the bench in frustration. But they were still in the lead! If they got the snitch before the Ravenclaw team could find it their first game would be a win! They cheered with all their might, their nerves a thing of the past now that they were so involved in the game.

Ebony could only catch a glimpse of the dark haired Hufflepuff flying towards her, until she was blatched from her broom.

She'd been hit plenty before, but never had she fell off a broom at such a height. She could feel her eyelids fluttering as gravity pulled her down... towards... a hand?

Ebony gasped as she felt herself pulled and secured onto the back of somebody's broom. She looked up to see Aly, a pretty third year with bouncy curls. “Stay in the land of the living with us for a bit longer, yeah?” the third-year said, “we’ve got a match to win.”

Ebony sighed. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I think I knew I couldn't do anything, with both our beaters gone. I'm just useless. But seriously, thanks a lot- I can't imagine what would have happened if you didn't do that," she replied. She felt like hugging Aly, but that wouldn't be very welcomed during the match, would it?

The corner of her lip twitched as she listened intently to the monlouge of the game. Ravenclaw was being quite risky and most Quidditch matches turned into who can get the most players off their brooms before the other team. Less players meant a better chance of winning, or so they say. Annie shook her head, it was going alright but tides could turn just as quickly. Her fingers curled into her palms, knuckles turning white from the grip on her robes. Just breathe.

The two teams were neck and neck, putting on quite the show as they zoomed around on their brooms. Edme felt herself grow greatly entertained by the game before them, practically falling off her seat with anticipation.

They tuned out the side-chatter and yelling, trying her hardest to focus on the game and pay attention to the strategy of their teammates. Though she had tried to throw away the idea, it was still very plausible that they might need to go out there at some point.

She shook her head trying to refocus after her little detour, and get back to their plan for the game. It didn’t look like things were going too great, and she couldn’t help but wonder where hufflepuff gets all their violent tendencies from.

After knocking River off her broom, Serena was forced to take a penalty lap. While the third year was annoyed that she was temporarily out of the game, she supposed that was what she got for cheating. After finishing the penalty lap as fast as she possibly could, Serena quickly re-joined the game.
