Regina addressed her French cousin with a deadpan expression, completely unamused by the way the twelve-year-old was so obviously scanning the area for a potential prey to add to, quote, 'his entourage collection'. They'd known each other for years and Henri hadn't changed one bit, if not even more condescending and flashy than he was since he began attending Beauxbatons. Henri seemed set on putting his fabricated charm to use and await the rest of the foreign magical schools' arrival for anybody worthy of connection.
Regina would have been fine with this, of course, because her cousin's motives were his own and she did not intend to correct him in any way. It was the fact that she'd painstakingly avoided the crowd in the Courtyard when she came down to the castle grounds to greet him, yet Henri insisted on pulling her along to the Great Lake where two gigantic ships from Durmstrang and Ilvermorny were apparently engaged in some ridiculous sort of peacocking, Mahoutokoro emerging some time later--purposefully, it seemed. Regina grimaced as she huddled closer to Henri, who was using the Umbrella Charm to protect themselves from the falling rain.
"Whatever devious plan you set on achieving here at Hogwarts, I do hope you are going to leave me out of it," The raven-haired Gryffindor sniffed. "I do not want any of my...allies associating me with that sort of behaviour."
She knew that Henri aimed to enter the Hexwizard Tournament as well. It was the only thing they talked about lately through owls and though their morals might not be one in the same, the Pureblood cousins did share the same ambition. Regina was too smart to allow herself to be seen as another toy in Henri's eyes, but as family, she would still give him her support.
Regina was too busy observing the chaos that had transcended as soon as the foreign students touched foot on Hogwarts grounds, and had noticed a tad too late when her cousin abruptly strode towards one of the Ilvermorners--a girl with blond hair as platinum as his.
"Wha--Henri!" She shouted, then cursed under her breath when the raindrops began pouring onto her. "Pluvia Velo!"
Merlin, Henri was going to be a handful to watch over.

𝕳enri had a large umbrella conjured from his wand, standing next to his British cousin with an entirely leisure smile on his handsome face. His clever grey eyes simply took a single glance at Regina's constipated expression as he gave her a noncommittal hum for an answer. It was an asinine question really, she should know him well by now to understand the reasoning for his actions. To be fair, Henri did not enjoy standing here under the rain either and witness the insufferable tension between the powerhouse Durmstrang and the flamboyant Ilvermorny going on in the middle of the two ships. But the Bourbon Heir had come to Hogwarts with a purpose, and the first step was scouting for potential minions.Interacting with Lucietta Mahler (@Everly Charlton)

"I am sure you already know why we are here, ma chère cousine,"(1) The French said with the slightest lilt in his voice. "And besides, it is only polite for you to accompany family, yes?"
Henri held back at scoff at her unforthcoming words, but his cold grey eyes darkened. Ah yes, he mustn't forget that Regina had gained connections whom had soften her now."Whatever devious plan you set on achieving here at Hogwarts, I do hope you are going to leave me out of it. I do not want any of my...allies associating me with that sort of behaviour."
The blond held a certain fondness for his older cousin, but this was something that utterly repulsed him. Emotions were a fragile and pitiful thing, and it would undoubtedly cloud righteous judgement and rationality. Henri interacted with many others, that was true, but they all served as a personal gain. He did not make 'friends'. Emotional attachments meant weakness, and it was pathetic that Regina wasn't as secluded and reserved as he'd originally think. They seemed to share one less similarity now, and it irked him more than it should.'Alliés.' Tu déconnes.(2)
A heavy silence followed Regina's statement as Henri preferred to steer away from this conversation and observe any opening for an interaction with any of the foreign students whom descended their boats. Suddenly, his eyes caught the familiar sight of a petite girl with platinum hair just like his, and Henri's gaze became hyperfocused as he made a beeline for the loitering group of Ilvermorny pupils.
"Salut. Quelle coïncidence,"(3) He called out, his charming mask already on and intact. "Lucietta, was it? Lucie? I did not know you were attending Ilvermorny. How quaint."

Hailey barely payed attention to the Ilvermorny student's feeble excuses as she had rowed away from him, but one of his comments stuck in her mind. She wasn't grumpy in the slightest, just irritated at having taken a sudden swim thanks to his school. Ignoring him until taking revenge seemed like the best course of action at the moment.
A girl was standing near Charles, from the looks of it she was a Beauxbatons student. Hailey didn't have any quarrel with the girl as long as she didn't get in her way. "You hope we're not gonna what?" she asked with a sly smile. Revenge was certainly what the girl didn't want, but it was all Hailey could think about right now.
Charles asked if the boy approaching was Ilvermorny and to her shock it was the same boy who had been swimming beside her in the waves just a moment ago. "Oh he's Ilvermorny alright." She looked directly at him menacingly. "Are you looking for trouble? Cause that's what you're going to get."
As she watched Charles push an Ilvermorny student into the lake, her face lit up in a twisted smile. This was exactly what they deserved. Spotting another Ilvermorny student nearby, Hailey decided it was time she did a little something of her own for vengeance. She stepped toward him and said, "You and your stupid school can go back where you belong. With no sign of hesitancy whatsoever she raised a hand and shoved the boy backwards into the icy depths of the lake.
Turning back to Charles, she saw that he had his wand out and was attempting to set someone on fire. "Need any help there or do you have it under control Charles?" she asked. Hailey was plenty sure he could handle it, but she was eager to extract more revenge.

Russian English FrenchRosella gasped as her concentration was broken and a cold feeling washed over the girl as the rain began soaking into her coat. Her gazed snapped towards the male as he spoke about needing to bite her tongue or end up in the lake as well. "Do not touch me you fool," she hissed as the male turned back towards the others. She did not care that she was talking to an older and taller student, something that would probably get her in trouble time and time again.
Rolling her eyes at Charles as he spoke about her never missing a chance to see him soaked, she turned slightly away from him. "Never missing a chance to laugh at you, who would not." she muttered in broken English, still angry about the way the older student had talked to her. Hearing Cassie yell about everyone needing to shut up, the girl froze in her spot and turned towards the other.
She was really not in the mood for this, but she signed and turned her head away to look back towards the school, she did not want to admit she was she was slightly in the wrong, but not completely. "Sorry Cassie," she muttered in French, knowing the girl did not understand a word of Russian and feeling slightly bad that she had not spoken to the girl yet.
Quickly she turned her glare back to the older male again, still not happy he had grabbed her and told her to hold her tongue. The Russian girl did not even bother to hide the fact she was openly glaring at the male as it did not really matter to her, she did not care.Interacting With: Charles Alluring @Henry Knight, Cassie Heather @Lucia Fox, Milosh Rehnquist @Annie Morgan

Before he'd even had a chance to grab his belongings from the boat, Stephen heard a girl's voice approaching him from behind, and from her accent and her tone, he knew immediately this was going to be ugly from the get go. Not even certain it was he in particular that she was addressing, he turned just in time to find that yes, in fact, he was the lucky fellow victim. With a fairly swift, and powerful shove, powerful for a girl that is, Stephen found himself sailing backwards into the dark, frigid waters, landing in a sitting position on the beach, the icy waves ebbing and flowing around him.
Damn that is cold. No wonder the Durmstrang students are ticked.
An involuntary cry emanated from his throat as the cold overtook him and then just as quickly it felt like his lungs and chest were seizing up, a frozen vice grip squeezing the air silently out of him. His brain now screaming at him to get up and out of the water, he somewhat stiffly rose to his feet and walked a little further onto the beach, and not so coincidentally, closer to the revenge-seeking, bedraggled, wet mop of a Durmstrang student. He wanted to broker some kind of peace between the two, afterall, he was not personally responsible for the event that caused their school’s boats to capsize, but before he could say anything, she was looking over her shoulder to another , much larger Durmstrang student, who was about to cast a spell on one of his fellow Ilvermorny targets. The girl in front of him was shouting back at her friend, asking if he needed help.
The whole scene just struck Stephen as ridiculous, and he started to laugh. He was not laughing at her or at anyone. He was just laughing at the absurdity of the situation. Too late to stop himself, the girl flung around, facing off with him. Her eyes were full of fury. Before she could raise a hand to him again, he instinctively put his hands into the American signal for a timeout, and quickly said, “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Look, I’m sorry that you and your fellow students were capsized, but I personally had nothing to do with it. I was not captaining our ship. It is unfortunate that it happened, but I am not responsible. But nonetheless, I’m very sorry that it happened and I hope you will accept my apology on behalf of Ilvermorny.”
He smiled widely at her, having no idea whether he was going to get socked in the face, sent back into the drink, or have his peace offering accepted. She still looked pretty furious, but he held out some small hope. Hoping it might keep him on dry land and out of the Infirmary, he offered his hand and introduced himself.
"My name is Stephen, by the way. Stephen Schwartz.”

There was no sight of a bird in the sky, not with this weather, the dark clouds and the strong gushing winds, to say the least, he would be impressed if Aurelia really had the skill to manoeuvre in this harsh weather. The patter of rain was annoying, the many droplets obscuring his view. Hadrian hadn't looked too long, his eyeballs drowning in rainwater when he was provided with some shelter.rping as Hadrian Zuheir - open for interactions
He would be met with a head of pale blonde hair and another pretty visage. Hadrian doubt that he'd seen her in school before. "Oh hello," he mumbled in response. Then, Aurelia was all forgotten for the moment, her presence in his thoughts replaced by this girl's and her kind gesture to share her umbrella with him. There was a short moment of silence before spoke, her voice carrying the same American accent that meant she came from the same house. She'd asked if he was looking for something, her gaze directing towards the skies he was previously staring so intensely at.
"Just an owl friend, I doubt she'd be around here with this shitty weather," He said, this was not far from the truth. "I haven't seen you around Ilvermorny." @Everly Charlton

This sucked.
Not the trip. No, Hogwarts was a wonderful school filled with all kinds of chaos, and Aryaan was excited for the trip despite the greyness of the weather. The kids here were normal, the kind that would be playing and pranking and living, not the nerds who lived and died in competition to be a model student as was the case for Mahoutokoro.
No, what sucked was that they were supposed to be “quiet and not intimidating”, whatever that meant. The promise of a “fight” later kept him from outright causing a scene at the first opportunity just to spite the arrogant Navy-robes. …Well, that and a particularly strict navy-robe.
Not that his restraint meant much, when the upperclassman transfer student (Raiden-senpai? Raido-senpai? Something like that) started something the moment their feet met the shore. So, Raido-senpai had been from Hogwarts. And it wasn’t quite done with him.
Aryaan’s dark mood lifted as the smokescreen spell went off. Now that was an entrance! So much better than the drab, quiet entrance that was expected of them. The commotion between Raido-senpai and the Hogwarts-ian was a good icebreaker as any, and it amused him that it let Bakugo-san start making friends.
Aryaan should be making friends too.
Since most of the other students of Mahoutokoro seemed to have already formed quiet groups, the lavender-robed first-year did the only thing that made sense. He physically latched on to the only unattached person in view.
“Ko-ha-na-Sen-pai~”
Aryaan almost cheerfully said each syllable in a rising, sing-song voice; his arm wrapping around the shoulders of the brooding and quiet third-year. Honestly, the quiet boy scared Aryaan: Kohana-senpai radiated an intimidating presence that put the Indian boy on edge. But there was no way he would make friends.
“You planning on scaring all the other schools with that frown?” Aryaan’s light tone was in stark contrast to the tension in his arms, as he gently half-dragged the older boy towards the crowd. “How scary. But they have their own scary people, too. So let’s do something different.”
“Come on, smile. " The first year leaned in towards his senior, saying the words soothingly, and switching languages. "There we go, Senpai. Now say it with me: We. Are. All. Gonna. Have. FUN!”
The curtains fell. And the silence was deafening

Taking with them the boisterous chaos and leaving the Scottish castle, the quiet chill of air could finally settle back down along the many hallways with their departure. For a while, there was relative peace with the corridors much quieter and far less congested. Yet with another semester, the halls were soon filled with rumours, talk and gossip on their anticipated return. Aurelia could not care less due to the fact she hadn't acquired many international friends. Sure, the thought of the loudness and intensity the other school brought was met with apprehension, but one thing that wasn't all too bad was seeing Hadrian again. They'd hadn't spoken much.

The day came when the schools were to arrive. First to arrive was the Koldovstoretz Conservatory, from the skies she watched the trample of dark thestrals as they pulled along the carriages onto the grounds. There was no spectacular display announcing their arrival as the students scuttled out and into the castle. In an interval, came in Beauxbaton's majestic winged horses. It was always a delight to watch those beautiful displays of those horses.
However, Aurelia had not expected that the last of the schools would come in all at once in a fleet of ships. From a bird's eye view, it was chaotic for the lack of a better word. Screams and angry cries sounded as the small rowboats were overcome by the large Ilvermorny vessel that broke the surface of the lake. Many thrashed about as they were capsized into the frigid waters. Then if things could get any more chaotic, the dark clouds opened up to pouring rain and violent winds. Perfect timing.
Having gained her form months ago, Aurelia almost mastered the flight that came with it. But with such strong gushes of the unpredictable Scottish weather, Aurelia could never be too careful. Manoeuvring herself onto the ground by the shore a distance away from the sea of students, Aurelia then transitioned swiftly into her old human self. Gracefully, her hair tinted-auburn hair cascaded down her shoulders and the unsettling presence manifested once again, tainting the air around her. The blue wool coat she wore offered more of a comforting warmth than her feathers did and the shield of a magical cover provided some relief from the incessant patter of rain.
Initially, her sights had been set on the docking Ilvermorny vessel, to reunite with her betrothal, but bobbing in the shallow waves nearby were the casualties from the tipping rowboats. The Zuheir could wait for a little while longer. As an act of goodwill and decency, she waved her cherry wood wand with ease, "Accio luggage." One by one, she retrieved the soaking bags as they flipped towards her from the waters and plopped onto the damp sandy shore.

ARCHER ∞ LADRIAN
ARCHER ∞ LADRIAN
──────────────────────────────────── DURMSTRANG ──────────
| ── | Archer did feel bad for a few seconds. English was an ugly language. There was no rhyme and reason to the words, no sense he could grab onto. The words came out stilted and clumsy, like a child trying to string together a song he'd only heard once, struggling to make sense of the thoughts in his head and put them out in the world. He sounded dumb in english. The words were in the wrong order, they were odd. Too formal at times, too rude at others.
He'd get it at one point. Today was not that day. Archer returned his attention to the situation at hand, watching the exchange with a smile. Little rich prick was still running his mouth. "Do you not understand when to pipe down?" Charles asked the lad, a dangerous glint in his eyes. The next moment, Loudmouth McGee Grayson Ellis was sent tumbling backwards in the water, hitting the surface of the lake with a satisfying splash. Archer didn't pretend to feel bad for the kid. He didn't pretend he wanted McGee to resurface either. Yet resurface he did. "Don't worry" the boy said sweetly, crouching down so he and Grayson were on the same level. "You already was looking like the mop." He didn't get a chance to get another word in. A blow came for the back of his head, the collar of his shirt digging into his throat as he was yanked back. Archer cursed, stumbling backwards. It was instinct more than anything that made him drive his elbow in the older student's stomach. Hard. Archer was strong. Strong for a first year, but strong nonetheless. And he'd just hit a senior. Mortification was putting it lightly. Archer jerked away from Milosh' arm, taking a step back, and then another. "You startled me" he hissed, whatever blood was left in his face draining out of it. His eyes danced between Milosh and Charles, heart hammering in his throat. His head snapped towards the witch. Threats McGee Cassie had stepped in the middle of the clearing, wind howling around her and rain soaking through her jacket, matting her hair to the her forehead. She had the face of a woman who'd had enough, and made it known. Loudly. Yeah. Archer liked her. And he liked the distraction she'd provided even more. He and Charles exchanged a look. Physical violence was forbidden, but as Charles had deftly pointed out, other types of violence weren't. Unfortunately, Charles thought setting someone on fire didn't count as physical violence. And Archer didn't exactly disagree. They hadn't hit the boy after all... "Come to join the party?" Archer laughed, spotting Hailey nearby. She was just as blood thirsty as the rest of them. But Milosh was still watching. Archer gave the fifth year a look and ten feet of space, hooking his arm around Astrid's shoulders. The wickedly cold March wind was starting to get to him. "We're getting food" he said. "Come on, I'm cold and allergic to Americans." |

It was around this time that another member of Mahoutokoro made their appearance. Aryaan Shamsi, one of his fellow Quidditch members. The only reason he saw him was because he was looking at Sara at the time and Aryaan happened to be within his vision range. Hah, no Hiro was joking, even if the seeker hadn't been within his sight right now, he'd most likely have sought him out later. They were teammates after all...
He'd see him again eventually, without even putting forth the effort of tracking him down. Sara wasn't too far away from him, which in turn meant Aryaan wasn't either. Hiro glanced back over at Winnie and gave her a smile. "Hold that thought, I'll be back in a second." He told her and turned to face Sara and Aryaan. Closing the extremely short distance between them, Hiro leaped towards the two boys he knew.
And put his arms around both of their shoulders.
"Sara! Aryaan! How cold of you to cuddle without me! Don't leave me out!"
He teased both of them. "But hey, I want you guys to meet someone! She's pretty nice for a Hogwarts student. Come on, I'll introduce you!" Hiro said.
The boy tried to turn them towards Winnie's direction, hoping they wouldn't try and resist. If they did, he'd just go after them again. Eventually, he'd either win and get what he wanted, or lose and suffer whatever it was that made him lose in the first place. Hopefully it wouldn't be a spell, but their teacher had strictly forbid them to use spells and cause a scene. So there was a high chance he'd be safe. For now, at least.
