Cody Stevenson was a boy who originated from America, Boston Massachusetts, that was, but later moved to the United Kingdoms. He lived so close to Salem, and he knew how people mocked witches, and wizards. The boy was eleven years old, and he lived in a small, yet comfy, apartment complex. He was a child of a tall human dad, and a shorter human mom. The mom was one who would sing her heart out just to keep Cody safe, and alive.

He had a brother, a twin. who was Freddy, and Freddy seemed to be like Cody, in terms of being average. Both boys were short, due to the historic ancestry the boys had. His mom, Claire, and his dad, Jack, were two people didn't quite understand what Cody was going through. It was truly intriguing, and the boy had to laugh. He was going through something weird, in addition to the start of puberty, which will truly take its toll when he turns 13. Of course, it was one way of calling it. He was bound to have more testosterone, as if he didn't already have enough. He was a bit temperamental, and he seemed to think that he was higher than other people, but according to the levels of Voldemort, he was NOT that intimidating. He was short, and grew tired of horrible jokes about his size, and when it came to food that tasted horribly, he would throw food around, perhaps starting a food fight.

---PRE Hogwarts History---

Cody Stevenson. The boy we all have been waiting for! Where did he originate from? When did he move? How many people are in his immediate family? Any grandparents, cousins, or anyone we should know about? How old was he when he moved? How old is he now? Any treasured memories? Anything for a keepsake? Where did he move to? Why did he move there? What are his morals? Does he have any quirks? Allergies? Conditions? What does he fear? How does he see himself?

These are questions that guide us through Cody’s Pre Hogwarts journey. Shall we begin?

Once upon a time, there was a boy, who was born to a set of parents, and with his own doppelganger. He was born in Salem Massachusetts in America, moved to Boston Massachusetts, same country, when he was two years old. When he grew up with his twin, he experienced a lot of people mocking the heritage of witches and wizards.

Claire Stevenson, Cody’s mother, would advise him not to hang out with those… bullies. He would not listen. He found the experience rather immersing. Jack Stevenson, Cody’s father, was having a nightly chat with Claire, sometimes arguing, to try and convince her to get Cody a punching bag, or even private lessons with a fighting specialist, so he could take on those bullies. However, thanks to Freddy, the two twins had to deal with a repetitive one word. No.

His grandmother, on his dad’s side, Sherri Stevenson, gave him a ring that he loved wearing during his time in Boston Massachusetts, and it was a sterling silver metal wrap around his ring finger, with an eyeball, of blue pupil, and silver teeth as eyelashes. For a five year old, to be given that gift, was really awesome! His grandfather, on his dad’s side, Frank Stevenson, was no fun apparently. All he did was sleep. Well, except when Monster Mash came on, and that was when he’d wake up and glare at Cody or Freddy as if they did something wrong, or that he was suspecting them of something.

Now, both on his mother’s side. His grandfather did like to send postcards from wherever he went as a way to remember him. Roger Grace, the grandfather, the father of Claire Stevenson, died when Cody was six. All he had to remember Roger by, was his ridiculous amount of postcards and neverending boxes of letters. But, it was Roger who was a Goblin. So he was always short. But he always had money to afford all the trips he took. His mother’s mom, or his grandmother, Henrietta Grace, also died, but she died a few weeks after the family moved from Boston to the United Kingdoms. The last thing that Cody had in his hands from Henrietta was a necklace, with green and purple rocks on the string, and a golden tree inside a circle as the main focus point of his necklace. This would always be Cody’s staple from now on.

The only person that officially greeted himself to Cody at Roger’s funeral, was his known cousin, but neither parents know which side he came from. Greg Carter was his name. He claimed he knew Roger, as he was someone who would always get a box of underwear from him every saturday. He would of course admit that he would miss it. Sure, it was quite excessive, but that was something he looked forward to, and that was how he knew that Roger was in a slightly playful mood.

Cody’s mother would then get him away from Greg, and give him a stern talking to about talking to strangers. Her half goblin heritage gave herself away. Greg was the reason why Claire wanted Cody away from Greg, as Greg mocked her for her height.

He has treasures that he keeps in his bed as a memory of his dead relatives. This was his greatest fear. Seeing another relative die. He grew to admire Henrietta and Roger. It was a shame how they died. Well, another fear was losing a friend, and having them turn enemy. It would be hard to get his frenemy back to being a friend. It was hard anyways, the way Cody was.

They moved to Plymouth, England to get away from the traumatic memories of death. It was there in Plymouth when Cody would start being defiant. And this was when he was SEVEN. He thinks that his morals are all chaos based, so he thinks nothing of it. His allergies developed when he actually got settled into their house in Plymouth. He was officially allergic to cat hair and cat food. He also had a condition that all doctors suggest that the parents punish for. Having tantrums. Eh, Cody did act a little spoiled at times. And he was BIG on acting out.

Several weeks later, Cody and Freddy were in a good mood. They wanted to play doctor/patient. Cody was the patient, and he was said to be allergic to kissing, as the cat licked him. Ai, truly monstrous. But Freddy thought it was really funny, and decided to jot down random notes in the Doctor's Notes that the boys made together. That was what Cody took with him to Hogwarts.

Once Cody had to go buy his supplies to be at Hogwarts, his first instance of magic was when he was seven, quite a few months after his arrival in Plymouth, he saw another necklace he liked, begged his parents to get it, and it was thirty galleons for it. For a half goblin mother, she seemed to be rather rich.

The necklace was black, had seven points inside it’s circle, and had branches of magic inside it. On the back, was another black form. It was a pentagram.

Cody sees himself as someone who can motivate himself to wreck parties, cause drama, and make himself smile. What made him smile, was once again, his acting out. Once he would learn some spells at Hogwarts, he might use them for mischief, for fun. Same for the Potions. Even if he was never invited into a group, he would barge in and be ruder than an ox running at you.

---- First Year at Hogwarts ---

Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Cody discovered a box, a twelve inch long and six inch wide wooden box, with 4 inches for it's height. Inside was DNA evidence of who Cody was related to. Cody would study over that, and discover that he was related to his best friend's grandmother, and she was related to Cody's grandmother. How... eerie was that?

Cody had to be delighted, but he was also disappointed. He was in love with Juniper, but at least now he knows that he can't date her. Well, he'd find someone else to love. He'd give Juniper a brotherly love if he got to choose! Anyways.. they were cousins now, weren't they?

What was inside the box besides the DNA proof, was of a shirt saying "Sisters by Chance, Friends by Choice." But what was disappointing, was that due to what Cody's grandmother said, the two faced a rather rough tiff, a rivalry that crushed many. Well, many hearts. The two were ones that "partners in crime." Granted, they never stole anything and caused that bad of a trouble.

But then they got into a big fight with each other, Cody's grandmother wanting to cause chaos more than they usually did. But what else was inside, was a glowing crystal of either blue or green, making a aqua color. He knew of the necklace, he saw that on Juniper's grandmother's neck in the very old image of the two sisters hugging. But his grandmother's necklace was not in there, the one in the picture. Well, that could be explained. Cody had it already. The grandmother gave it to Cody BEFORE he left to Plymouth England.

The fourth thing in the box was a baby bib colored pastel purple... as if they weren't expecting either a boy or a girl... especially to have a half goblin for a daughter/son. Now, Cody was beginning to understand the main reason for the split. The grandmothers have had their kids, and then they went their separate ways. How horrible was that? Well, at least he had Juniper to hug and to care for. It was indeed a specialty that Cody had, to be a brother, specifically disastrous. But now, not even Juniper could make a break for it, as Cody was officially older than she was! That was something worth celebrating! But... he was going to hide the box. He hid it in the Abandoned Labratory so he could reveal the secrets to Juni one day.

Reason why I re-apply | Re-applying my ency because of issues involving coding since the system update. Also adding additional posts (new pet, etc.) and revision to Vale's family for better understanding on their development, including family history and legacy. This is to plan and better fit Vale for major future events down the road in her later years. Key note that Vale's ency may not show this until a bit later on as her entire ency is under work-in-progress.

Reason why I re-apply: soooo. I've been away this year and have stashed Ivy away in Beauxbatons (aka where she went after deactivation); I reactivated her account a couple of months ago, and am now back from my OOC commitments for good... I talked to some staff about Ivy being at Beauxbatons and they said it should be ok, but that was a few months ago and I'm not entirely sure if anything has changed and if I can still use that storyline. I also wanted to get some more storylines I've planned approved before I write/post any solos and put her back into Hogwarts. I'm very very flexible with what happens here and willing to change/explain/negotiate stuff if needed.

Oliver Bellamy worked as an Auror in the Ministry of Magic until early December 2019, when he quit his job after having a massive argument with the Head of Auror Office. He and his wife, Clemence, decided not to tell their daughters about their new predicament, confident that he would either get his job back or find a new job in no time. Fortunately, they had plenty of money saved up in Gringotts, and with Ivy at Hogwarts and Alison consciously avoiding them, it was an easy secret to keep. However, they still took lengths to ensure that their children would not find out. In order to keep their eldest daughter at Hogwarts over Christmas break, they lied and wrote that they would be going to France to take care of her paternal grandmother, whose health had declined rapidly over the past few years. As for Alison, she was never home nowadays, spending most of her time in the nearby villages.
However, the 2020 summer holidays came and Oliver still did not have a job. It should not have been so hard to find one as an educated man of high status, but for whatever reason, there simply were none available. The Bellamys' financial situation was slowly becoming more dire; they took out loans and resorted to borrowing money from friends and family. And yet Oliver and Clemence still didn't tell their daughters. When Alison started noticing things weren't right, she was sent to their maternal grandparents in Wales, and Ivy was sent to Hogwarts' summer camp and to stay with her aunt, uncle and cousins in London after.
Oliver's mother's death halfway through August put everything to a halt. Her funeral in France was the first time the Bellamy family was all together for almost an entire year, and it was then that Alison told Ivy that she believed their parents were hiding something. When they returned to Sussex, the sisters went through Oliver and Clemence's bedroom, but it wasn't the unemployment secret they discovered that day. Rather, they found a box of letters addressed to them that had been intercepted by their parents. The letters were from their estranged older sister Lillian, who had eloped a few years ago - and there were also their own letters written to Lillian, letters that had never been sent due to their parents' meddling. Ivy and Alison had always believed that she had abandoned them due to the lack of response. Now they knew the truth, and set about visiting Lillian in the last week of summer to make amends before Ivy left for Hogwarts again.
However, while things got better for Ivy and Alison, things got worse for their father. Oliver had a close relationship with his mother, and her death caused him to fall into a downwards spiral. In the next two months, he gambled away a large portion of the little money he had left, until he and Clemence realised that they were unable to pay for Ivy's schooling fees at Hogwarts and for Alison's governess. Desperately, they reached out to family members for support, and Oliver's father told him that he would pay for his granddaughters' school fees if they transferred to Beauxbatons - which was what the Bellamy side of the family had always wanted for Ivy and Alison anyway, as majority of them were proud Beauxbatons graduates.
Oliver and Clemence agreed and hastily withdrew Ivy from Hogwarts halfway through October 2020 to send her to France with her sister (although Alison technically wouldn't start there until for almost another year due to being too young). As you can imagine, the Bellamy sisters were growing sick of all this pushing around with no explanations, but what could they do?
They weren't the only ones at the big Bellamy estate - their cousins Serafina and Iris, the same ones Ivy had stayed with the previous summer, had been under their grandfather and late grandmother's care for a few years due to their enrollment at Beauxbatons. Serafina and Iris' older brother, Lucas, also lived there, learning how to be a healer from the old man, although he mostly left them alone. The four girls got along fairly well, and soon Ivy grew to like living in France. She spoke French very well and made friends easily, and loved the Beauxbatons curriculum. Meanwhile, back at home, things slowly began to look up again. Oliver found a new job working for the Daily Prophet, and although it didn't pay as much as his last job did, it was stable and was enough for them to keep going. Ivy and Alison returned to England briefly during the summer of 2021 to discover that their house in Sussex had been sold and their parents were now living in a smaller house in London, closer to Oliver's new work and easier to manage on their own. It was only then that their parents finally told them the truth.
They Flooed back to France feeling troubled, but the rest of the summer with their cousins and grandfather lifted their spirits. When the school year began in September, they returned to Beauxbatons feeling happy, where Alison started her first year there. Things were getting better for Ivy. She was happier in France than she had ever been in England, both at Beauxbatons and at her grandfather's house with her cousins, which was why she and her sister made the decision not to go home for the Christmas holidays, but rather stay with their grandfather and cousins.
Christmas break 2021 began normally enough, with lots of snow, tree-decorating and the classic winter activities. In the first few days, they planned to go ice-skating with the stablehands on a nearby lake, but an ill-timed prank on a maid the day before was enough to get all four girls grounded and unable to go. Annoyed with the restrictions of their punishment, they decided to sneak out and go ice-skating that very night. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but parts of the lake were not completely frozen over, and it was hard to see in the dark, and Alison and Serafina both fell in. The chaos and panic that ensued meant that it was a fair while until they were safely out of the freezing water. Somehow, Ivy managed to keep a fairly level head and ran to get help, and by the time she was back, Serafina and Alison were out of the water, although not quite out of the woods yet. They were rushed back to the house and their grandfather, with the help of Lucas, used magic to try and heal them. It was a long, long night.
Oliver, Clemence, and Serafina and Iris' parents Flooed in the next day. Serafina had pulled through, but Alison had died early in the morning. Furious that this happened under the grandfather's care, Oliver and Clemence decided to take their remaining daughter back to England and re-enroll her at Hogwarts. Oliver had been promoted in his job recently, and although they would still have to borrow money to pay for the school fees, they were adamant that she return to the UK. Obviously, Ivy was extremely pissed off at them, having just lost her sister and wanting to stay in France, but in the end it didn't matter what she wanted, because she Flooed back home with her parents that very day with all of her and Alison's things. The rest of the winter break was spent re-enrolling her in Hogwarts, and Ivy caught the train back with the rest of the Hogwarts students after Christmas break.

Once upon a time, a pair of brothers decided to go on a trip together.

Nolen and Léo Charlton were once as close as could be. Léo decided to accompany Nolen on his adventures throughout France. There, they both supposedly found love. Nolen, in international student Fira Aster, and Léo in a lovely lady named Aveliine Lowell. While Nolen went back to England, accompanied by Fira, Léo opted to stay with Aveliine and start a family with her in France.

Together, they had two children - twins, Adalene and Lukas. Their family lived happily, oblivious to the fact that Adalene was a Seer. Unbeknownst to them, the Seer gene ran flush through their family lines, and Adalene fell victim to old beliefs, disappearing suddenly when she was fifteen, presumed to be dead. Her twin, Lukas, fell into a deep depressive slumber, incomplete with his other half nowhere to be found.

Fifteen years later, Lukas had nearly forgotten about Adalene's disappearance. Lukas was happy, with a woman named Ines Plantagenet and her child, when he one day found out about how Adalene had really died - murdered by poison, with malicious intent. He had figured she was dead, but this news hit him in the face like a ton of bricks, and he went mad, overcome with grief and fury. His relationships with his parents and Ines became very unstable, and soon, he had fallen back into his old ways.

Lukas's uncle, Nolen, lived quite the opposite life. Nolen and Fira had two children, Everet and Carina. In Carina's fourth year, she met a girl named Vee Berkshire, and the three of them instantly clicked with each other. Everet, Carina, and Vee were three peas in a pod - you never got far without seeing one with the others. The trio continued to stay and were close all throughout schooling and graduation, and often still spend many hours of their time together talking.

Carina and Vee got married ten years after they had left Hogwarts, and lived together happily with their child Peyton. Everet, on the other hand, met a woman named Charmaine Silverstein some time later, and was instantly charmed. The two were wed three years later, and had two children, Adeline and Everly.

The Charlton family moved around quite a lot, and this became a key factor in Everly's love for traveling and visiting other places. Finally, they would settle in Canterbury, when Everly was six.

Even though Adeline and Everly were ten years apart in age, they got along well. They became much closer as Everly aged and matured over the years, Everly often confiding in and going to Adeline for advice, regarding her as the person whom she is closest with.

Several years later, when Everly finally received her acceptance to Hogwarts, she would make a new discovery about the talent that ran through her blood.
