FAQ — Questions
Saunders Napier wrote: 2 Feb 2025, 16:20 A question of absolutely no urgency. I got a bit confused when working on the background for my potential iNPC character. The child of a Squib and a Muggle can be a wizard/witch, right? That's the first question. Secondly, what would be the blood status of the child of such a couple? Muggle-born? But one of the parents is a Squib. Half-blood? But a Squib's not exactly a wizard/witch.
Squibs are usually categorized as magic, despite their lack of power, due to the fact that they are descended from at least one magical parent. You could think of squibs as carriers of the magic gene. A child of a squib and a muggle could definitely be wix, and the blood status of this child would likely be considered halfblood due to the fact at least one of their grandparents was wix and their parent is technically considered magical (assuming they were brought up in a magical household/with knowledge of their magical heritage).

Could someone tell me what is 'lore'? Everyone around me is making one, I feel left out. Can someone tell me what it is? (If you want to)

Edit: wait, I googled it. It's like a background information about a person.

Hi, Lore in hio terms can be the background of your character, or the journey you have planned for them. Lots of users have plans about what they want their PC to do in their seven years through hogwarts. This is called their lore.

How many points are required for the students of the winning house to earn rewards? I guess it was 17+ something but does exactly 17 points count in it as well?
