The french site is not our site. You can have an account over there but they run their site differently than we do.

A question of absolutely no urgency. I got a bit confused when working on the background for my potential iNPC character. The child of a Squib and a Muggle can be a wizard/witch, right? That's the first question. Secondly, what would be the blood status of the child of such a couple? Muggle-born? But one of the parents is a Squib. Half-blood? But a Squib's not exactly a wizard/witch.

Hello, i'm not sure what staff answer would be, but we've had this conversation before. A child can be wizard born if they were raised in the wizarding world, even if their parents were squibs, a child with a squib and muggle can be either halfblood or muggle. Depending on the environment they grew up in. Two squibs can have a wizard-born child if they both continue to live in wizarding world.

I'd wait for a staff answer but the culture and habitat the child was birthed and raised into can also make them muggleborn or a halfblood.

Thank you so much for your help! I’ll wait to hear back from a staff member, but the explanation you provided in the first paragraph really helped me understand the situation better.
