To clarify -- not liking the house you are sorted into is not a good reason to get your account deactivated. Deactivating your account is something I do try to offer to players so that they can remain engaged on the site because the character they created is not something that engages them (such as playing a "troubled" character and finding yourself in an RP corner where you can no longer RP). That said, getting a certain House and it being outside of your control is a very important part of the site and the setting because that is an RP tool that should facilitate better roleplay for you -- be it disappointment or elation regarding the house that you are put into because there is no statistical difference regarding the houses just the IC connotations of association.

TO ALL THOSE SEARCHING FOR THE "DELETE BUTTON"

Currently, all non-staff accounts (that we are aware of) do not have a button to delete posts. This is a glitch as far as we are aware and we are working to get it fixed. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. If you are looking to delete a post, for the time being, I would recommend sending an owl to a staff member and asking for their assistance. My owls are open for anyone if you need anything!
