Matilde O’Fionnagan wrote: 3 Oct 2024, 15:38 I have another iNPC werewolf question. If I’m applying for my current iNPC to be turned into a werewolf would I put that under the ability section in the update form or under content changes? Sorry if this is a silly question.
For your iNPC to be turned, you'd need another person to turn you. This would not be a normal special race application.
I understand that. I found a person willing to turn my iNCP, I guess I’m just confused how to show that and actually apply for it.
Yes, please write an application. Whether you RP it out with that other user and link the thread in your app (as long as you, the turned person, have written 500+ words), or write a 500 words long app is your choice.
We just need papertrail of consent of the user turning you as well, as this is a big decision. Should it come out IC that they turned you, they would face heavy consequences (expulsion or even imprisonment) and probably not want to continue playing their character.
Oh okay, that makes sense. Thank you so much!!

Nora De Carie wrote: 2 Oct 2024, 22:28 Helloo! I have a quick question about magical illnesses. I've been working on creating a new iNPC, and plan for her mother to be bedridden with an illness. However, she is a witch, so it would have to be something that isn't easily cured by magic. Is there a magical illness that would make sense?
Dragon pox or you look for something in this website, I think but I haven't read all the harry potter books so I'm not sure

Hello everyone, how do you make it that only your friend or only a specific person or people are allowed to continue the storyline of my post?

Adding [pv friend name] to the title indicates that it's a private thread between the two (or however many people you have) of you 👍

Hi Luke! Anyone is allowed to post after you, but if you just want your friend to post, you can put [pv] orrr.. [pv= bla bla your friend and you can also ping your friend! Ping ‘em like this: your friend’s name Its so your friend knows that you’ve posted! :)

Hope this helped you, Luke! <3 oops, you beat me to it, Cass!

FAQ — Questions
Hello :) I was wondering if there were any threads within Hogwarts we are not allowed to open an open RP in (aside from our allocated house spaces!) and if the Small Hall would be okay to start one in? Or are there any spaces in or out of Hogwarts where we would need permission from a moderator to open a thread in?

I hope this makes sense - thank you!

If you can post in the forum, then you are allowed to make an RP there! For example, as a first year you don't have access to Hogsmeade, so you can't post there/make threads set in Hogsmeade. But for any forum you have access to - including the Small Hall - you don't need permission before starting a thread there. Have fun writing!

That is really helpful- thank you!

A rp partner would like to organise a party within the small hall. As this isn't a common room and is a main space, would something like this be allowed, or would this impede the storyline/general accessibility of the space? Would we need a moderator's permission for a rp like this that takes space in a public place?

Again, I hope this makes sense! <3

We’re very loose in terms of this. People write threads on the same day where one says it’s sunny and the other is pouring rain. Throw your party, all will be well c:
