Yes, although correct me if I'm wrong but you are part-veela so even in your first year you couldn't apply for any skills.

Yea, your first year ability is given as "Alluring" and in your second year you can apply for a special ability.

I know it has been covered already but to perhaps help if you're confused in the future.

Special Races are permitted 3 abilities to apply for (years 2, 4, 6). Special Races have abilities given already (without needing further applications) at years 1, 3, 5, and 7.

Great, thank you! I was more talking about my iNPC, but I appreciate the help with Veela abilities.

Oh, if you're regarding your iNPC, yeah they can get a first year ability, but currently iNPC applications are not open for you to apply for an ability. (I predict the next time its open again, it will be around the Fall ball) @Charlotte Winfield

Nope. If you try, the site will give you an error message. They're compulsory items.

What alyssea said, and also, Hufflepuff has a broom fund, if you need a broom and are currently on a quid team (which it looks you are), reach out to the Captains.
just for good practice and all, don't sell the broom loaned to you, if you're done with that sport you can return it and it saves Hufflepuff the issue of having to reraise the money to get another
broom like that.
