i think ill owl a random mentor and refer them to whoever concerning then. public chat is visible to many mentors and easy means of comms

The mentee-to-be first, link them with the registration page. If they say yas, then they can sign up by themselves.

Since we dont use dms here apparently and this entire chat is public, I feel like I have to say this publicly now -

How about you don't publicly call people out & just leave it to the staff, please? You don't need to contact the mentors either. If you're unable to politely owl someone a link to the mentor programme or if you can't privately contact a staff member, maybe just don't do anything.
