Yes...and no. We're both Slytherins, through in through, and she looks exactly like me, and we're both chaos-oriented, but I'm ambiverted, while Evaline is pure extro.
Evaline is also haughty, arrogant, sardonic, and morbid. I am the latter two, but don't think myself as arrogant in anyway.
We also both love books, music, and hate rodents.

No! My character is shy an quiet. I am the exact opposite. I am bold and not quiet.

No? While think Erast has some of my traits, he's not entirely like me I can never imagine being so playful and resistant to studying in real life.

None of my characters are based on me, but each hold parts of my personality in them (as it often happens with writers).

Astra I would say is the most similar to me. I started writing her in her original iteration when I was quite young and didn't know a lot about characterization, but she's certainly grown into her own person over the years and through Hio specifically. A lot of our similarities lie in her strengths and weaknesses: pride, intellect, tendency to overthink, adaptability, creativity, struggles with identity. She's got some traits in more strength than I do, and some are a lot more muted in her, but we definitely overlap even if unintentionally.

Elias is likely the second. He's a far happier person than I, and I do wish I had as much joy as him. His tenacity in the face of hardship and desire for community are things I think we all face, and I like to think Elias serves as an ideal for me: leading with kindness, striving for understanding, wanting to work together for a greater good.

Fabian I probably relate the least to. His devotion and loyalty to the people he cares for is reflective of my love and care for family and friends, but it definitely presents itself differently for him lol

Definitely an interesting question! I started intentionally trying to make sure that wouldn't be the case - for instance, answering the Sorting Hat questions in-character rather than as myself per se, which resulted in a different House than I usually get on such quizzes (including Pottermore) but the more I've developed him the more bits of my own personality have leaked in, nothing to the point where I feel like it's contrary to his character - but definitely more than I intended to when I started. What'll be more interesting to me I think will be to see how he develops differently as he grows up, given he's only a first year now, he'll end up having alot of different experiences that shape him differently so we shall see how differently or similarly he ends up! As my first character here, I feel like it was bound to happen to some extent... maybe after he graduates many years from now I may want a new character who is VERY different from both of us - but for now I'm just letting it develop organically and if that means some more of my own personality bleeds through so be it lol

Yes! I’m dramatic, a perfectionist, excels academically and is very clumsy so yeah she is based on me.

Hm, it's hard to say. I can see some similarities in some aspects? But he's definitely not all me. While I do feel the need to succeed, it's not nearly as overwhelming as Jude. He's also a major extrovert, whereas over the years, I've found myself more and more introverted. Funny enough, I see myself more as the character of his mother, Arabella, than him... I also find it kind of funny that I wanted him to be a Slytherin at first, like me. But Gryffindor suits him way, way better.

kinda, like me, my character loves the outdoors, climbing trees, singing, and constantly switching between tasks to keep myself concentrated, and tomboyish.

But unlike me she is more outgoing and bubbly, the opposite of me.

100% no. OOC, I am pretty 'type A' and a bit reserved. Rina is... well, she is Not That. She is very impulsive and does not care too much for others (yet, at least). I think our only similarities are that both Rina and I like sports, humour and good music.

I guess at least a little. But we're different in many ways. I'd say Lya might even be braver than I ever could be. But it's also something I wish for myself, to be more adventurous and fearless. One thing I know for sure is that I created her with many of my own personality aspects. And I always fancied having light eyes, so it made sense to project that fantasy on my character.
