Hades had been fighting hard, casting all possible spells he was able, getting hit and having to stand, holding the blows while looking at his teammates, bowing his head to study them with curiosity. He needed to check what condition they were in and if they needed help, but fortunately that was not the case, seeing that Hufflepuff was an advantage.
In this round, Hades attempted to perform a Flipendo on Mahlioz, who had been most targeted. Although he managed to cast it, he failed to target the person. Hanako used a Nebulus on him, and he did. He also saw earlier how Ara pointed at him and someone else, but seeing that he hadn’t noticed any change, he assumed she had failed.

Jake side-stepped out of the blast range of the jinx that the Slytherins had thrown at them, just in time...He had yet to be touched in the duel, but his team-mates weren't so lucky. And as the fog crept in once again onto the stage, Jake tried to get his bearings. Mahlioz had continued to thwart their efforts, and as he continued to draw their fire and dodge, the duel proceeded slowly. The fog was going to make it even HARDER to hit him. And if they kept missing, then the Slytherins would be able to pick them down. Nobody was out of the running yet, and all of them, while tired, seemed to have more fight in them.

"Oh, come on." Julian muttered underneath his breath as fog covered the side of their platform again just as he cast his own spell - a Flipendo - obscuring his sight and keeping him from catching on to the fact that fireworks had made their way to their side. At least until the popping made him jump, prompting a curse under his breath.
He couldn't technically complain about the use of the cracker jinx since he'd used it himself, but that wasn't going to keep him from being extremely annoyed at his opponents for continuing to use it.

Now this was what she was talking about. Spells flying everywhere, and not just any spells but the ever so trusty Cracker Jinx that both sides seem to love aside from the high damaging Flipendo. It was a miracle that Raizel could still keep her eyes open with all the flashing and the sound of the spells all around her.
Hades wasn’t looking so well when she laid her eyes on him after a successful cast of counter charm for the fog, looking a lot worse than Mahlioz even. He was just doing so well taking all of those spells like a champ but he’s bound to reach his limits. While still standing, he might find himself waking up in the hospital wing very soon much like Mahlioz. Julian had given it his best shot as well despite the fog all around him, being one of those that had casted the cracker jinx towards their opponents. Ara was his prime target, the rest were just extras for his spell. Unfortunately for him once again, the spell missed. The fog must’ve messed him up real bad. “Tough luck…” Raizel winced. How many times had he missed? That’s gotta be so frustrating. On the bright side, the blast still managed to catch the rest off guard. Jake was the most fortunate among them all. Not only had he remained unhittable but he had never missed any spell.
Rendering someone paralyzed in a duel was beneficial. That means one less spell caster to deal with until they regained their movement. That was the strategy the badgers were going for with how Jake decided to cast a Full body bind curse on Hanako. That should stop him from casting those fog. Probably his favorite spell at this point. Raizel can’t help but feel a bit bad for the older boy. Not only did he fail, casting Confringo twice and being the cause of Ara’s frustration, he was now there, on the ground, unmoving, looking so helpless. Maybe Ara can still appreciate his spell hitting one of their opponents to make him feel better even just a bit.
The double Flipendo from both Ara and Mahlioz was what gave them an upper hand in this round, slowly chipping away the stamina of Julian and Hades. One or two more of those can send Hades down if they keep up the pace. The duel was starting to get intense but time was running out.

Alright. Alright. It wasn't going as bad as it could be. Mahlioz might have liked to fall over and give up right then and there, they were so exhaustated, but the good news was that one of the Hufflepuffs seemed to be doing just as badly, if not worse. And her spell had worked! Honestly, that was thanks to Hanako's nebulus, but Mahlioz was taking the credit. Especially since he seemed to be too petrified to protest. Well, that was unfortunate. She hoped he wasn't too pissed.

Jake continued to dodge the blasts that were being thrown at his team, wondering how it was that it felt the battle was getting out of control. He instinctively petrified Hanako, sending him to the ground. When things got tense, Jake couldn't help but try to stop some of the spells that were coming in their direction. And as the fog cleared on his side of the platform, Jake saw both of his team-mates get blasted. The fight that Slytherin was putting up was amazing, despite the fact that they were mostly made up of younger students. In fact, Jake felt that they might even be losing, judging by the look of his partners.
His eyes widened as he tried to regroup, freezing for a moment as he looked at his opponents, trying to figure out who to go for next.

He had to give it to the Slytherins, they were putting up far more of a fight than Julian could've anticipated, which meant Julian had to go back to spells that would inflict a lot of damage, which meant Cracker Jinx. Woe was him.
Unfortunately, his aim was just off today. While he'd managed to inflict some damage with his crackers, he just kept missing his main targets. It was rather getting on his nerves, especially when they considered the fact that the other team kept hitting Hades, and Julian couldn't help a worried look in his teammates direction. They'd need to start considering more defensive tactics soon.

Oh yeah real wonderful, really. Even through the fog, he was too focused on his own spell that he didn’t see one coming. And now hes on the floor, embarrassingly, binded in an awkward position. Wont this be a lovely sight for his allies to see him in. He would sigh and roll his eyes but he can’t.

Hades had something in mind and was to use the Metelojinx Recanto, to be able to dissipate the Nebulus that Hanako had used. He was very lucky to get it, seeing how his spell managed to dispel the fog around him. He could not help but smile with satisfaction, noticing how he had achieved despite feeling at the limit.
However, it was not easy because now it had been two people who had proceeded to attack him, being Hanako and Ara, having been hit twice. Now he found himself in difficulty, mumbling some angry words addressed to them, hoping to take revenge soon when they had their next duel... And he would have no mercy.
