This was it. This was the last crucial and final moment before the match wrapped up. Although the end was in the corner, it did not mean both of the remaining Duellists gave a half-measured performance.

Let's take a great example from Baird. A soon-to-be fifth-year Hufflepuff. Baird was still in great shape under circumstances if we compared it to her opposing side.

Raising her wand, Logan Baird made a beautiful wand movement and spoke articulately for the Knockback Jinx spell. Her intended target who was one Samantha Salwis did not have a chance to evade the incoming attack.

And thus Salwis took very quite large steps back from the blow of Logan's Flipendo. And when the Viridian Vipers' Co-Captain thought Baird's assault on the poor Ravenclaw was over, Baird proved them wrong.

To make sure Salwis stayed dead out of the count and the game, Baird's mighty wand released another lethal spell. This time the Full-Body Bind Curse.

The second attack took a toll on Salwis and thus in result Salwis succumbed to her inevitable unconsciousness since Salwis hung by a thread the last few rounds.

But before Salwis succumbed to her doom, she had to make sure that Baird got a taste of her own medicine. Lifting her wand, Samantha Salwis directed her trusted magical arsenal toward the opposing side of the platform.

Made the same wand movement and said the same spell as Baird did earlier, Salwis sent out a quite powerful Flipendo of her own. But, lady luck was not on the birds' side.

The spell barely hit Logan Baird and the older girl easily avoided the incoming jet of light. It was Salwis last attempt to secure her winning but it was not enough for the house of Eagle.

As soon as Salwis released her final missile, she dropped to the piste' ground with a very loud thud. Cash looked and searched for any available medic team but it seems all had been occupied helping fallen soldiers left and right to be out of harm's way.

"That's the end of the game, lads and lasses! Congratulations to Hufflepuff for winning the 2022/2023 Duelling match. Game dismissed!"

As soon as the last player and the spectators left the venue, Cash brought unconscious Salwis to the Hospital Wing by themselves. And if someone ask or saw them doing anything remotely nice to the one person they could not stand, the young Ironwoods will deny it until their timely grave.

Hufflepuff Wins!
