It’s not a date, it’s two kids being where they are not supposed to be and having loads of fuuuun! There’s also no hint, there’s no plan! Haha
If Irina gets a crush on someone would be someone she really trusts and it’s able to be herself. Meaning he would know and accept her has a werewolf. She was badly hurt by her own family, the ones she loves the most. Trust and be able to deliver herself like that to someone would be very difficult for her. Also she’s not matured enough to recognise those feelings or even to look for it!

I'm with you on that Rina! Colin is extremely lucky that Clair is not just okay with wolves but positively delighted! When he learns these things about you, honestly, if you think he's big brother now, just wait!

Hopefully, with friends like the Snek Squad and the closeness of the WolfPack, she'll be able to learn to trust others!

And yeah --- maturity! Colin's not terribly mature, and I know I love teasing you lot about crushes, but straight up: I am OOC 100% in support of you guys as writers in whatever choices you make for your characters. If your character develops crushy feelings when she's 11, that's great! Colin will be happy to tease and even play wingman! If your characters won't feel it until they're 16, that's great too! Colin will still be happy to tease. And it'll be a good variety of narrative for all our stories.

Everyone's a little different, and while Colin would marry Clair tonight if she let him, it's good for him to have friends all across the spectrum and with a wide variety of futures in store.

Colin you’re amazing really! Yes Irina will trust her friends on the Snek Squad and obviously on her Wolfpack. This is something that will take time though! I’m seeing her trust completely on Loops and Colin, perhaps Vee and Jannette will take more time. But trust and maturity would be building together. It doesn’t mean she wouldn’t look a different way to a boy, but wouldn’t let that go further because she would be afraid with the consequences. She would thought about it as a waste of time and effort for someone she doesn’t trust.

It’s comfortable to know though that she has really good friends and someone like Colin to care for her. She will see all of you has family and she will love all of you fiercely.

About the teasing…I think this is part of our group dynamics it has to always exist between them! So Colin can keep trying to play Cupid with the random guy in the library it’s ok, and it’s really funny! Irina would do the same with Clair so don’t worry! She will also support all her friend’s choices and will always be there for them!
