iNPCs duel during the summer games annually. We set up the matches at the start of summer.

FAQ — Questions
I'd like to cast a spell in an RP. Do I roll for success? If so, do I roll for Arc Power and Accuracy? How is that calculated on here? (for reference, I'm trying to use the Freezing Charm (which I have in my trunk) on an aggressive squirrel who is currently attacking. This site is my first experience with RPing so I'm not sure how dice rolls work either.)

FAQ — Questions
If it's a solo, it would be your choice whether you roll for the spell or not. If you're rping with a partner, you can ask them if they want to roll for spells. I personally don't roll for spells in my threads and just agree with my partner whether a spell succeeds or not.

If you were to choose to roll for the spell, the system for duelling (rolling for spells) is here.

Just to add to what Ava said, rolls can provide you with lots of narrative possibility even in solos. You could also ask Tatsu to choose whether or not you succeed, then roll for the results.

This can lead to some very fun and cute firsty spell slinging reading! You can also roll for the rogue squirrel to see if he escapes and jumps on your face!

Thanks for the ideas!

Too late... he jumped on Ren's face and now we're debating on whether or not to throw him in the lake (unparalyzed, of course)

FAQ — Questions
Essentially we adhere to consensual RP with the exception of moderated scenarios. Rolls are optional but can be used to add interest (as mentioned above) as well as the possibility of a self-moderated adventure.

FAQ — Questions
Hi, I'm not sure if there is another thread for this but:

How do you find people to role play with? Do you just owl them or is there some other way...?

Thanks in advance, Lexi

FAQ — Questions
You can owl people, or you can go to RPG Partner Requests where you can find someone to rp with or make a request for an rp.
You can also join threads that are tagged [Open]. That means there is no designated rp partner and anyone can join.
