Professor is a staff moderation role. You apply out-of-character when positions are available, get accepted, and only then do the admins let you create an adult character. I believe that the Bulletin Board is a place where most staff positions are announced when they need some. I would recommend subscribing to the topic to receive notifications about it if you like.

Please *please* answers these sorts of issues clearly. If you do not know an answer, that is OK, just do not answer them and wait for someone else. Because if it is not answered clearly, I get people thinking they can just make adults (multis) and I will 'do something to them.' It sets them up to get in trouble, causes confusion and congests my DMs.
