I’m also clearing up a misunderstanding, as Eugenia mentions she is a pure blood, while in her profile card I am writing wizard born: (no blood status change is needed) Just before Eugenia began her second year at Hogwarts, an envelope from the Greek ministry of Magic arrived to the Karageorgiadi doorstep. Inside it stated that the debts of her dead grandfather (deceased as of spring 2022) who was killed by an anonymous assassin, had been finally paid off by her father. Now, he and his 2 siblings could share his inheritance. Eugenia’s father was entitled to the family home, the home he had been raised in, while his older siblings each got one of the two plots of land her Grandfather owned.
Inside his will, though, it stated that he could only claim the inheritance if he was (according to his father) of “pure Greek citizenship” so that the family home was not “passed down to foreign hands”. That meant that the family had to drop their English citizenship, and only remain with their Greek. After a lot of legal processes and bureaucracy, or at least that was what Eugenia understood, she dropped her English citizenship and was now “only Greek”. The inheritance was now their property, at last. How they would use it, that remained a question. Another question though was bubbling in Eugenia’s mind. They did acquire the property, but at what cost?

The last week before the start of term, Eugenia, Ifigenia and their parents travelled to Greece to see the house that Eugenia’s father had inherited from his father. The only residents of the house were Eugenia’s grandmother, whose name was Marina, and her paternal uncle, who often spent his free time with his mother.
While Eugenia’s parents were assessing the house, looking at all of its rooms and thinking about what repairs could be done and how she could use them, Eugenia chose to look at the attic’s contents, the only part of the house her parents wouldn’t be searching. Eugenia opened the attic door in anticipation and walked inside. It was marvellous. The windows brought lots of sunlight into the room and it was clear nobody had entered in a while. There were old dusty cobwebs on some boxes and judging by the fact that her father was not very fond of spiders, she thought that she must be the first child to visit this place in a while.
Suddenly, a small golden box in the corner of the room caught her attention. The sun made it seem like it was a small lantern, emitting some yellowish glow. She walked closer to the box and removed the dust. On it, some words were engraved. Marina and Simela, forever sisters? But grandma never mentioned that she had a sister! I’d love to see this up close. And she opened the box. Inside were numerous letters in Greek from both of the sisters. She read a bit. My dear sister, how is that school, Beauxbatons? I never got an opportunity to visit. Mom and dad make me sew a lot and work in the wheat field with them, it is not so fun. Do pure bloods work in wheat fields? Surely not.
Eugenia grabbed another letter. Dear Simela, I read your letter and your plan to make me marry that “wealthy pure blood” boy. I think it is absurd! How could he ever love me, a woman who cannot produce magic, a woman that is part of the non magical, how do you call them, “muggles”. What lie will work on him? You say he is not the most stupid person! How? What? Her grandmother called herself a muggle? What is this thing? She still wondered, so she read another one. Thanks for telling me so many stuff about the wizarding world. I will run away from the house today, I can’t show him to mum and dad or them to him… I will do my best. Expect my letters.
Eugenia was flabbergasted. All this time, she thought that her grandmother was a squib, but still a pure blood. What was this game? Hardly believing anything was real anymore, she grabbed another letter. The fake birth certificates worked and so did the stuff you taught him. I persuaded him that my parents are dead since being cursed through an object my aunt sent to them and the first meeting went well. His family liked me, I told them it was my parents’ last wish to find me a good partner and that I thought he was the best I could find… He fell for my lies! Thank you Simela! I love you my sister, I hope things are going well for you too.
Eugenia couldn’t take this madness anymore. She stormed out of the attic and ran to the knitting room, where her grandmother was at the moment. She closed the door behind her, making sure no one could hear. Hello Grandmother. I checked the attic. There are some odd letters inside a golden box. I’d like to talk about them. What even are they? Since when do you have a sister? Why did you never tell me, or any of us about her? And are you truly a pure blood squib, or is it just a façade behind a muggle identity? Why did oh never tell any of us, and above all, Grandpa? WHY DID YOU LIE TO US ALL? ARE WE NOT WORTHY OF YOUR TRUST? OR IS YOUR TRUE IDENTITY SOMETHING SO IMPORTANT, SOMETHING THAT AT ALL TIMES SHOULD BE HIDDEN? WHY DID YOU ONLY SHOW US LIES, SURROUND US IN THEM AND MAKE US THINK THAT WE ARE SOMETHING WE TRULY ARE NOT? WHY ARE YOU SUCH A LIAR? WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO YOU TO HEAR SUCH LIES?

She said how she always wanted to give her kids a better life, but her parents wouldn’t let her leave her little village home. In the village, there were no wealthy people, and no child would be able to live a life beyond the fields. But she, well Marina didn’t want to leave the house if she had found a person who could become her husband. Her sister, who was a muggle-born witch, had some connections through school and acted as a seer, under the disguise of polyjuice potion, and when reading the palm lines of that wealthy boy, she told him that he was going to marry a Greek girl in the future. When she arrived at his doorstep, he thought that she was the one the seer had told him about and befriended her. They soon truly fell in love and when asked about her parentage, Marina told him all those lies. And he, he was no Legilmens and she was an awesome liar, so her fell for it. And to not have drama in the family, not to make them think she destroyed their pure reputation, she kept it hidden for all her life.
Aside from the two sisters, Eugenia was the only one who knew.
After this conversation, Eugenia didn’t speak to her father, mother, sister, or truly anyone abut what she had discovered. Her grandmother herself talked to Eugenia’s family, telling them about everything. Her parents, especially her father, were initially dumbfounded, her father being angry too. Over the years though, they came to terms with it. Dimitri, her father, accepting he was a half blood and Eugenia, along with Ifigenia and her mother Malamo, with the fact that the children were, indeed wizard born.

I've been reached out to by a member of the index team about a rather important part of Mahlioz's history, which has to do with their home and being a halfblood. Until now, I've had it that Mahlioz has lived surrounded by both magic and technology, with computers and brooms, cars and spells all in the same house. Unfortunately, I was recently told that this did not work with the site's lore, and therefore have to change it.
I've decided to have the magical part of Mahlioz's home life be cut out, because the technological part was more important lore-wise (her father works from home with a computer, her sibling loves video games, she's watched youtube, etc.). Therefore, there's a bunch of editing that I will have to do. I'm slowly working through my threads to edit them to fit this new version of Mahl's home, and will do so with their ency as well.
The main changes include that there's no floo powder in her house, nor brooms; they travel by car a lot and when they floo powder it's through a magical neighbor's fireplace. In addition, Mahlioz's mother, a magizoologist, no longer works from her magically enlarged back yard as was stated before, but in a magic zoo of some sort, in the city. There will be smaller edits I'll have to make in my threads, but those are the major changes.

Reason for Reapplication: I've been reached out about a part of River's backstory involving the creatures kept at her home estate being over the allowed Ministry grading (XX) suxh as Occamies (XXXX), Nifflers (XXX), Kneazels (XXX), Crups (XXX), Salamanders (XXX), and Hippogriffs (XXX). I was told I should re-apply to see which of these I could keep, and which must be removed from being mentioned. I mostly just wanted to mention these creatures in RPs to give my character a fun backstory as her mother is an ex-magizoologist but I see now that I must have not realised the rules that were put in place regarding this issue. If I could be informed of which creatures I could be permitted to keep, and which will need to be removed completely so that I can correct my mistake that would be appreciated. (As just another disclaimer, I had no intention of using the creatures as anything more than a piece of her backstory and some fun interactions for my character with the explanation that her mother kept some of the creatures she used in her research as a magizoologist in specially built habitats on their estate grounds. If that helps at all).
(I've already begun removing any mention of occamies in my posts and replacing them with snakes so that the replacements are similar enough but not too far over the ratings I hope, but I might not finish with that until later today.)
