That's correct, as a registered 2nd year you've "passed" yr 1 and learned all of the spells and potions of the previous year (except the ones currently marked in red)

Yes you can! Double posting is only counted if you are doing it as your PC > PC or iNPC > iNPC.

Yes, it is possible to have multiple prodigal abilities. An example of this is user Meenauh Silmataurea who has both Prodigal Charms and Prodigal Transfiguration under her belt.

In addition, due to a recent buff/patch to the Prodigal abilities, Prodigal also gives you one restricted spell (or potion in the case of Prodigal Potions Learner) from the class you select once you reach 6th year.

Small correction, you can only claim your restricted spell/potion from prodigal abilities in seventh year. Otherwise Pierre got it correct!
