Although if it's through their House Broom donation, you must be on the roster for Broom Racing or Quidditch. If you belong to no sports, you most likely won't be able to get a House Broom donation.

That makes sense. I'll probably try to join the Quidditch team. Even though I don't fully understand how it works.

Where would the Whomping Willow be located? The grounds? And is it an out of bounds area where IC you could get detention for being near? Not that I would ever do such a thing

The grounds, and I’m guessing students aren’t supposed to go near since it’ll whomp em. Probably somewhere out of the way too, considering harry and ron had never heard of it before they crashed
