As soon as the game began, it became clear that discussions of play on paper and in practice sessions paled pathetically in comparison to the vitality of the real deal. Within a blink of her eyes, an opposing chaser had launched herself across the pitch to gain possession of the quaffles. Lyudmila's jaw dropped soon after as the next seconds saw all 5 quaffles shoot into her team's goal. Quidditch had always been fascinating. The strategy, the speed, the disciplined force exercised in each action and position– it had been thrilling to hear about, gut-swooping to watch from afar. Now, wind tearing through her hair and in face of the whiplash pace of their opponent's game, Quidditch became exhilarating.

However, the brunette could not stay amazed for long. As soon as she snapped her gaze back to her teammates to execute their strategised play – the Parkin's Pincer – , the terrifying blur of a bludger sliced through the air barely 2 arms’ length away from her face. From the brutal crunch that came a second later, it met its mark. Lyudmila hissed with a hand over her mouth, helpless at the sight of the fast-shrinking dot that was Stephen's falling body. A chill danced down her spine. “Чёрт…” (Damn...)

Since Atticus was not paying attention to the hoops he was supposed to protect, MUD was able to score fifty points on them in the first round. Not only that, but a Bludger flew past him, striking a teammate and sending him falling to the ground.

The noise of someone getting hit by a Bludger will never leave Atticus' mind. The sound of it hitting his teammate made his stomach drop, and for a moment, he couldn't help but stare at them on the ground.

It can't get any worse, Atticus thought.

The thing he was doing certainly didn't fit him. However, he didn't care much about it now. As it helped a bit, it was supposed to be good enough. Was this game going to finish quickly? He didn't know.

Ryusei sighed. He wasn't interested in what was happening, looking arrogant and cold, he hoped the game will finish soon. What he'd never admit, he hoped that his best friend and his teammates were going to stay uninjured.

It must have been her nerves. That, or Eden had limited experience actually playing a Quidditch match. Either way, her stepping into action failed her, but mostly Stephen. She watched as the American player dropped, wincing at her late reply and the injuries he might have sustained. Internally, she cursed herself, but vocally, she shouted an apology to Stephen, muffled by her accent and the roar of the stadium.

So, what sort of violence were her team (and the other team) up to at the start of the game? Bludgers and blatches of course. But was that Kanae going for one of their opponent’s brooms? A bold move if one would ask Miharu for what she thinks of it but one that would've been so effective if she managed to pull it off. While she didn't get caught, her target was elusive but was certainly not quick enough to dodge the incoming bludger. Tone Bakugou might just be the one that’ll carry Sara’s legacy.

Miharu shook her head. She was getting distracted again. She should focus on finding that golden ball that seemed to refuse to show itself to her today. Funny how in other games, she always gets lucky at the first few minutes, almost immediately spotting the small fluttering metal ball roaming around the pitch. There was no sign of it today, not even a glimpse of it.

The sun is absolutely merciless, and the players' bodies drip with sweat as their jerseys soak and sizzle on their broomsticks, to the point where they could effortlessly cook a whole pan of eggs if anyone had thought to bring one. All of the players are so caught up in their fierce battles once more to spare a thought for the lonely, neglected hoops on the other end of the field. Which is exactly why Kaito seized the chance and scored an impressive 50 points. “ANNDD THEY SCORED ANOTHER FIFTY POINTS!!!”

Despite having failed in his attempt to hit Shiori, Miles is still desperate to at least cause some kind of damage. He sends a bludger towards Tone, but the latter manages to catch the ball instead and quickly throws it flying in another direction, straight at Eden, albeit with a much lighter touch than it could have had. Eden regains her bearings and swings a bludger at Jaimee as she flies a circuit around the pitch. Jaimee's broom is thrown off course, and just as everyone is looking away, Eden's next throw heads straight for Shiori, but Tone throws himself in front of her to take the blow.

Holy lord. So, unluckily enough, there was no snitch in sight. And the whole excitement of the crowd wasn’t helping either, as Irina would squint at the wind and see absolutely nothing. It seemed, as well, that the other seeker wasn’t doing really well either. The Quaffle was sadly ignored by a new chaser who just stood there, and Iriliya fought the urge to curse at him.

Two people from her team fell and were caught. Sadly, including her. Falling again was one of the worst sensations ever and Ilya had to catch her YET AGAIN. Back on her broom, she tried to calm herself down. She was literally ready to begin screaming to the wind.

In the midst of her chat with Ilya, as she attempts to decipher what the other savior is telling her –– unable to hear him very well admits the loud commentator and the cheering of the crowed –– Shiori notices the beaters in the other team rearing up once more. Shiori focus' in on them, the rest of the world fading to white noise. Then a bludger flew towards her, one that Tone senpai quickly intercepted, earning a "ありがとうです !" "Thank you!" from Shiori but before Riri was able to properly celebrate another bludger flew past her head and towards @Jamie Carville The sound of a ball colliding with somebody you looked up to was frightening.

In that split second Shiori had to make a choice, save Jaime and let Tone be hit, or let Jaime fall and have a chance of Tone being spared the ricochet. But as she looked back at Tone senpai, she saw Jaime senpai fail to stay on her broom after being hit that hard, Shiori knew the only choice she had, is the one that caused the least amount of damage. She is their savior, she has to make sure that other people can trust her.

In one motion, Shiori raced to Jaime-senpai, swooping down to catch her just in the nick of time. "大丈夫ですか ?" "Are you okay?" Shiori asked as she carefully flew Jaime to her broom. But when Shiori transferred her, she noticed that the arm Jaime-senpai was hit on seemed flaccid, immediately her mind went through what might have happened to it, broken bone, sprain, disconnect from socket, either way Shiori decided to fashion Jaime a quick splint .

While Shiori was wrapping the bandage around Jaime's shoulder, she took note of the slight tension in her body and Shiori decided to try and take her senpai's mind off of it. "ジェイム先輩、英語で 'クソ喰らえ' ってなんて言うんですか？…あ、それか '私達の方が格上だし!' の方がいいかも. あの美人がマジで鼻につくんですよ... 救世主気取りかよ." "Hey, Jaime-senpai, what is 'go eat shit' in english? or better yet 'we're better!' The pretty one is getting on my nerves... Their savior." As Shiori finished the splint she stepped back to look at her senpai, "これはとりあえずの気休めなので、後でちゃんと病院で診てもらってくださいね." "This is just to reduce the pain for now, you still have to get it properly checked by a doctor later."

Alicia's team had once again scored another 50 points for her team. Alicia's confidence raised as she heard Zephyr cheering for her and she smiled to herself as she continued to hover around the three hoops she was trying to guard. She kept her eyes on each player as much as she could. She needed to do this well and win this for her team
