its really funny because i really disliked reading until i was 7-8, then i went from barely reading to reading harry potter and everything else
im sure i will have plenty more years, as will you!!

its really funny because i really disliked reading until i was 7-8, then i went from barely reading to reading harry potter and everything else

Also funny bc I tried reading the first books at 7/8 but I absolutely despised JK's writing style, so I read other books like PJO and LOTR, and now, seven years later, I have yet to read all the books but I've fallen in love with the fanon and this world almost as much as PJO (never as much as LOTR tho lol).

I never reflected much about J.K's writing style when I first read the books as a 7–8 year old. I didn't read them in English though, but the translation does a good job in mimicking her style.

Reading HP as an adult though, it becomes clear that her style really stands out Especially with her exaggerations and humor. I can't remember how many times I've laughed out loud reading the books.

Prisoner of Azkaban. Always. Forever.
The book just brings me so much comfort, and as a marauder fan it's an obvious choice
Also my baby remus is absolutely adorable, and the end isn't as traumatising as the other books

@Elena Clark Same for me (that was also one of my two top choices). I remember reading that book in our summer house as a kid and I never wanted to put it away I wasn't very social that summer haha.

I've read all the books, but I'd say The Philosopher's Stone and The Goblet Of Fire.

The first book, because it''s the book that started it all. The one where you get introduced to Hogwarts and everything!!

The fourth, because you get to find out more about other Wizarding Schools as well as Quidditch! It's also where.. You Know Who gets a body, and well, surely, everyone just LOVES his nose (ahem)

Philosopher's Stone & Prisoner of Azkaban! PS because it's so nostalgic, and despite everything it always feels like returning to a 2nd home every time I read it. 🥰

POA because we meet Remus and Sirius, get to see Hogsmeade for the first time, and it's also very nostalgic.
