Panic in the Lake

And once again, Hadashi found himself returning to Hogwarts. Not that this school was a poor destination, but he would have liked to see some of the other schools as well. He doubted they'd be welcome in Ilvermorny after the beatdown they gave them at the Hexwizard tournament's first round. He in particular was likely among the most hated; He had the highest kill count after all.
His thoughts were interrupted by something. A sound that should not be present.
He looked down and saw that water had begun seeping into his room.
Why was it always something?
Hadashi gathered his belongings in a bag and kept his wand in his hand. He knew that any footwear he put on would get soaked, so instead of wasting time with socks and shoes, he just stuffed them in his bag as well. He was fine being barefooted anyway.
Using his breathing techniques, he calmed himself of any fear rising. Panic accomplishes nothing good. First thing to do was to ensure the safety of the other Mahoutokoro students. He knew enough magic to easily make it.
He opened his door, and sure enough water was spilling in at an alarming rate. He started to roll up his pant legs, before remembering it wasn't likely to matter.
He took out his wand and was about to use the Sonorus charm to amplify his voice to give directions, when he heard someone yelling for help very close by.
Hadashi immediately made for the door, and found that he could not open it.
Hadashi sighed and addressed the boy inside, who he found to be Miura-kun, in a calm, neutral tone.
"Watashi wa koko ni iya masu. Doa kara hanare te kudasai. Soshite jibun wa mamori masu." I am here. Stay away from the door. And protect yourself.
After giving Miura-kun a moment to back away, he pointed his wand at the door. Enunciating clearly,
"Bombarda."
@Charlie Jacobson as Botan Miura.

───────────────────────────────────── MAHOUTOKORO ───────────
| ─── | Tone let out a faint sigh at this.
Not knowing if Yami had made it out and up to the surface bothered him but there wasn't much he could do. After all, Tone didn't know where he was. Even though he would have liked to go look for him just to make sure, there were probably other people who might need his help more. Chiaki's words made perfect sense and Tone completely agreed with her, they needed more people to help them out. When the girl ducked under the icy waters and discovered Hia unconscious, Tone became concerned. It seemed as if something had happened to his roommate. Could he have hit his head on something and knocked himself out like that? It was around this time a familiar voice was heard nearby, singing a sea shanty song in Japanese. "Kao's here!" Tone exclaimed to the others. Soon after, two familiar faces made their appearances. "Yami! You're here! Valentine, you came down?" Why --- ah, if Valentine had come down, it probably meant help was on the way at least. "It's actually good to have you here." Tone told him and explained the situation to him. Valentine took matters into his own hands and told Yami to carry Pride up to the surface. Content to let Valentin take control for now, Tone followed alongside him. He was starting to feel fatigue effects by now but was still able to function due to the adrenaline. As Valentine tried to tell Botan to stand back, Tone echoed the warning in Japanese just in case. He was surprised to see the arrival of another familiar face, Hadashi, emerge from the corridors. The fifth year student also pointed his wand at the door and uttered a different incantation. It seemed as if Valentine thought it would be fine to leave this door to Hadashi, which was a good idea. Hadashi was more than capable! More people were starting to arrive and gather. So Botan should be relatively safe with all of them. That was a good thing, it meant they could easily find those who were still on board the ship. As Egon approached them and spoke his name, Tone turned to face him and explained the situation. "So we're making sure no one's still locked up inside their room before we head off the ship ourselves." He concluded, finishing updating Egon on what had gone on. "Did you see or hear anyone back where you came from?" Tone asked. All the members of SNACBASH, with the exception of Yan, were present.... Tone couldn't help but be somewhat worried about Yan. He hadn't seen him above surface which meant he was still down below on the ship. But he wasn't here. That in turn meant he was either still in his room or was around on the ship trying to help others. If it was the latter, they hadn't run into him yet. But if it was the former, it most likely meant he was trapped. Valentine, Tone and Sara headed off down the flooded corridor, searching for the next person to help out of their room, should they need assistance. Whether the others followed remained to be seen. Eventually, they found themselves outside Ritsu's room, where Valentine tried to use the Knockback Jinx on the boy's door.... |

Panic in the Lake
They displayed quite the teamwork as they agreed to go on this mission of theirs to find the missing students. Together they trudged through rising waters, eyes scanning the area, and ears on alert in case of any noises. They’d find themselves in one of the doors which doors already opened. Streaks of faded crimson that filled the waters sent his blood feeling cold.
"Hia!!!" The teen exclaimed, rushing forward, as best he could within the icy waters everywhere. "Do you see Hia anywhere, Sara?”
Sara looked at Chiaki at this, hoping she would get who this ‘Hia’ is. She wouldn’t need to tell him though. "Mathias is missing?" Ah, so it was Pride.. . It wouldn’t take long for them to find them, alongside with.. Actually who is this?(Gideon) But it was hardly the time to get to know one another.
Chiaki spared no time, joining in to hoist them up the water. If she seemed to be having trouble, Sara would help her with ease. There were a lot of things happening, Sara was barely able to catch up. Neither is the writer to be perfectly honest- . In mere seconds, more people came. A fact that brought Sara great relief, especially knowing a familiar face (Midorimori) was safe and sound for the most part. He came with another familiar face, though it is somehow a bit blurred in Sara’s memory. Despite impending doom getting closer by the second, he coudn’t help but be in awe of the teamworkship by the two new arrivals. In a flash, Pride and Midorimori was gone.
The unfamiliar boy(Valentine) asked Chiaki to get the younger boy to get on the shore. At the sight of this, Sara carefully watched Chiaki’s reaction.
If Chiaki didn’t look confident / didn’t agree
“ I “ he stated, his gruff voice gathering attention . “ I swim well. I can support you and him “ Of course he would help them. It may have taken considerable confidence just to even state it, but this was dire situations that had no time to accommodate to his shy nature. He needed them to know he was there to help. Chiaki is a far smaller student than he is. If carrying one more person would be too much, he would volunteer to support them all the way to the surface. Not to mention… they weren’t the only living beings in the waters..It was not long until another person joined their group. Another unfamiliar boy, who seemed to know Hiro. “Hey Hiro! You know what’s going on?”If Chiaki looked confident / rejected his earlier help
He was reluctant to let his friend go alone. With an agitated sigh, he gave a firm nod towards Chiaki, knowing she was far more capable than most. He would just need to help everyone else on the boat to be able to catch up with her. “ I will… meet you there… please take care. ” he said to her before she took off with the boy. He then turned to Hiro, with a face even more determined than before. “ Let’s go.. Find more people “.
"So we're making sure no one's still locked up inside their room before we head off the ship ourselves." Hiro concluded, finishing updating Egon on what had gone on. "Did you see or hear anyone back where you came from?"
Sara still did not know their name. Oh well, that will be an information that will be more relevant when they had less chances of drowning in doom. Sara saw how concerned Hiro was, likely that he was thinking more of his friends who might still be down here. The older boy gently rested a comforting hand on his friend’s shoulder.
“They will be found “ he assured in a rare confident tone. He turned to the other unfamiliar boy. “ Work together “. Sara was not a man of many words (unless the topic is related to cats). He would give the two boys one last encouraging look ( that looked like he was ready to murder them before the depths of the waters did but Hiro was used to it at this point), before rushing after Chiaki.
Stronk Sara joined the party(?) . Feel free to godmode him breaking stuff if needed
*Stronk Sara left the party. Going with Chiaki to carry this kid up to the surface*
(Got confirmation from Chiaki that they'll want help)

The water was rising. The ship was going down. Botan needed to get out, or he would drown. After calling for help in his normal voice, he switched to screaming. “ヘルプ!ヘルプ!私が閉じ込められています!” Herupu! Herupu! Watashi ga tojikome rarete imasu! | Help! Help! I’m trapped! He screamed in his native Japanese. Pausing to breathe, he took a step away from the door. Negative thoughts rushed through his head, and he began to cry.“私は文字通り死ぬつもりです” Watashi wa mojidōri shinu tsumoridesu. | I’m literally going to die. he muttered, extremely worried. This was not usually like him, because well, he never cried. He just never felt the need to, because did it help the situation? No. Did it make anything better? No? When you were done crying you just had to go on with your day and face all of your troubles and problems.
Just in the nick of time, he heard something. It was outside the door. Someone was here to save him! He stood up and opened his mouth to say something, but they spoke first. They instructed him to stay away from the door, so he hurried to the back wall, closed his eyes, and braced himself.
If the spell fails:
The spell had failed. Crap. Botan was stuck. Botan stayed on the back wall, but opened his eyes and waited, hoping the spell would make it. If it didn’t, he would be in huge trouble. He could die. “Well what are you waiting for? Go again!” He shrieked at the door, waiting for it to burst open.
If the spell succeeds:
The door burst open. Botan hurried over and thanked the person who saved him. “Thank you!” he said as he hurried to an opening where a window was supposed to be. He climbed out of the window, and hit the water. He started swimming, and when he lifted his head up he saw that he was swimming the wrong way. Turning around, he swam back to the hole in the ship. He needed to get to the shore. He swam around the side of the ship, and went right for the shore.
Botan wasn’t the best swimmer but was able to make it a small way by flipping on to his back when he wanted to breathe. He saw someone swimming back to the ship. Botan was sightly confused, because there were already people saving others on the ship, and this boy was wearing all white clothes. As he approached the boy, he saw it was Akihiko. Flipping on his back, he gasped for some air and began speaking. “Aki- don’t.” He gasped. “You can’t swim. Le-” he said. “lets go to shore,” he said and grabbed Akihiko’s shirt.

Panic in the Lake
Can a boat sink that did not truly, fully rise? Semantics really, as water rushed in through windows and doors, down hallways and into rooms. For those on the higher levels, they would have found themselves immediately inundated in water when those seals broke. without warning or reason, the water breached the protective magical shell that should have kept them dry and safe.A Note from the Narrator:
As for why this took so long to write: Frankly I was at a loss for what to write because multiple players should be dead with the one action per round schema. Not KO'd but fully, unequivocally dead be4fore more things had gone wrong and some of the victims that they were helping should be dead too considering the circumstances. While I know some people are totally happy to die, they should have some warning of their impending doom before they lose years of work with their character.
So it is for that reason I am not able to moderate this thread as intended and have rather stared at it for the better part of a month. So I am going to write out some story-based progress instead.
Many of them would find their path to the surface unobstructed, only the frigid waters would chill them to the bone. Choppy waves and a shoreline of onlookers both concerned and curious. The first to breech the surface would be distressed to see the few that had escaped the ship before it was flooded. Christopher Runnels (@Bubba McGarry) and @Gideon Athanatos would find freedom from the sinking vessel and take in the frigid air as they breeched the surface. There were others nearby, witnesses and friends. @Winnie Harper would mistaken Christopher for Pride, how many white men did Mahotokuro have? Well, at least two and with 50% odds, Winnie still failed.
Christopher would shoot a Periculum into the sky. Like a firework or an emergency flare, the sky would light up. A signal, a plea for help but the castle was still far away. His friends would not last underwater, in the cold for long.
In the boat below Chiaki Hiroi (@Pax Zhang) would find Ginyami Midorimori (@Jack Burnett) & Hiro Bakugo (@Kim Sato would find one another. Hiro would quickly evacuate the boat and surface. It would be then that the moderation became muddled. A conversation with Valentin Schnell (@Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood) would provide an abbreviated explanation of what was transpiring just beneath the surface. Water was filling the hull of the ship, pockets of air would buy those trapped underwater some more time but it would not last forever. Air would belch from beneath the surface.
Valentin, better known as "the Niffler" would cast Lumos and thrust his wand into the dark and unforgiving waters. The hazy illumination would reveal little beyond a dark silhouette and escaping students swimming towards the surface. Some luggage would also start making its way to the surface. What would be 'unusual' would be the damage noted to the starboard side of the ship. Something black. He would watch as Hiro swam back under the water and back in through the deck of the ship.
Hiro would be met with calls for help. Akihiko (@Ava Winchet) and Coraline Harvey (@Reena Delgado) needed help. The ship was quickly filling up, the weight of the water against the doors made it impossible for some to open the door. Furniture was shifting about in the rooms, blocking passageways and potentially pinning some of the students. Each of them called out from their separate rooms.
Hiro had to pick one of them and he would pick Coraline. Her window would provide the girl with egress but Hiro did not follow, there were others that were still inside. He was going to seek them out.
Akihiko was not far and Hiro would pull the door open with the desperate 11 year old's help. The window would turn to sand and give the teen another opportunity to escape but Hiro would again not follow. No, there were others down here still, he was certain of it.
Chiaki would find him. Sloshing through the rapidly rising waters, Chiaki would announce their intent to search for others. They were working with limited time, once the ship filled with water, they would have minutes before they drowned. There was no salvaging belongings or books, this was about surviving the today and now. Chiaki would learn that there was no calvary coming, how could they come for them? This had all happened over the span of moments, within minutes they were resting at the bottom of the Great Black Lake. The air pockets were a temporary reprieve from their fate and soon that air would run out.
Sara Kohana (@Hanako Tone) would converge on the small gathering of Mahoutokoro students, he was a bit late to the party but he wanted to give whatever help he could. His brute strength would be an asset to them if there was anyone else trapped inside. These doors were getting harder and harder to open. The weight of the water, the debris that was now blocking the paths. The panic that drained reason from those still trapped in their rooms all worked against them as did the march of time.
And time was running out. More students would make their way to the surface, but not nearly enough. Coraline would breech the surface meters from the shoreline. Close enough to garner the attention of someone that rarely wasted their time and effort on the pomp and circumstance associated with these visits. Foreign egos mingling with the reckless ones already here. It was more a recipe for disaster than a spectacle worth watching. But there was something that none would expect -- kids swimming in the lake this time of year.
Coraline was in obvious distress as well and @Xailah Alptraum would find out what was going on. The ship was flooding, others were still inside and others still were down there trying to save others but they were taking too long. Hogwarts never thought they would see the day where the Gryffindor would slow motion jog into the water with the Bubble Head Charm Baywatch-style, but it totally happened. The water was ice cold, the sort of cold that hurt on contact for the first few seconds and then everything went numb. She would dive in.
Xailah would see what Niffler saw, only she would be deeper in the water when she saw it. A darkness starboard, black and hard, burnt into the aged, now soaked wood. If she looked back, she would see something white plunge into the waters behind her. She might not know it, the snowy features of the Durmstrang Seeker behind her. He would enter the ship from a broken window, swimming past the same burnt portion of ship. Valentin would enter an empty room with broken door, Hiro had been in there but moments earlier and had broke someone free of this room.
Walking into the hall, Niffler would see Hiro. Hiro was looking for his roommate, Mathias. The boy stood out, like a broken front tooth with that mane of red hair and that pale skin that burned in the moonlight. He was the sort that preferred to avoid people, a chip on his shoulder and a stick up his ass. Yet for whatever reason, Hiro seemed concerned for him. So where was he?
Chiaki would be the one to find him, Mathias that was. His brother Gideon had left Pride to die or miraculously regain consciousness in time to swim to the surface. He would do neither, he was not moving and he was not breathing, Chiaki would hoist the boy onto her shoulder. Mathias was like an Inflatable Tube Man used to sell cars at a discount dealership. Long and lanky, awkward and gangly, he never did fill out like other teens did. He just seemed to keep on getting taller. Six foot two, he was full grown, in comparison to Chiaki's smaller and still delicate frame, the long boy would be hard to keep out of the water.
Valentin was going to help, do what he can. Someone else could carry the unconscious boy out, he was at least found even if he did not look 'good' his lack of breathing or discernable heartbeat would be for someone else to discover. He would follow the sounds of someone shouting for help to Botan, but would carry on once he saw that whoever was trapped in there would be addressed. He would find Ritsu.
Ginyami would take Mathias from Chiaki and drag him to the surface. Off how something so long would be so light. On the shore there was likely concerned students, some shouting and even a few more students wading into the waters in an attempt to help. The blood around Ginyami was turning red, from a head wound suffered in the ship by Mathias. He never said anything, not even a word of thanks. His head limp, it would be a struggle to keep his head above the water but even if he did, he was not taking in air.
Ritsu Okazaki (@André Lebedev) was blind to the chaos. The lurch of the ship and even the rise of the water. It was not the groan of the ship, but rather when the ship stopped moving and they hit the lake bed that Ritsu would even realize that something was wrong. And by wrong, the fact that they had finally stopped moving. They could sink no further.
It was only then that he would realize that something was wrong and leave the comfort of his waiting space. His feet sloshing through the water that had not risen to the point of disaster in his room yet. Many of the other students however had evacuated. He would call out. Was there anyone else left? Did they leave him behind? Did anyone else need help? Could someone help him?
Botan Minra (@Charlie Jacobsen) was still in their room when the ship finally hit the bottom. Something had shifted, their door would not open and the water had already made it into their room by the time that they had realized that something was wrong. Trapped in their room, they would hear Ritsu calling out perhaps. They would also hear... singing?
Yes, apparently singing, there was an oddity in the halls also. Possibly a terrorist considering his calm and detached nature. Chikao Narumi (@Hunter Argentum) was singing "Soran Bushi" like an absolute psychopath. A possible terrorist, possible hero. The boy had brawn on his side at the very least as he searched for survivors and trapped students.
Well, there were two psychopaths this evening. In a sinking ship Hadashi Hitoshi (@Dan Palmer) decided to break down a barrier by blowing it up Hufflepuff-style. A blast from his wand would have concussive effect but it would successfully leave hole in Botan's wall as well as the hull and send Botan hurdling back. Still somehow awake, but likely disoriented and pained, he would be 'free' but at what cost?
Water was now rushing in faster than before. The sunk ship would let out a final death groan as it cracked in twain. Nobody trapped in a room any longer, just a few psych patients wandering the halls of a drowned ship. They would be forced to evacuate now or never.
Hiro would take a final look but he would not have much time left, leaving when he saw nobody else trapped there.
Sara would use his incredible brawn to usher Chiaki and Gideon to the surface. The young boy of absolutely no help, he panicked the entire way to the surface.
Botan would star to swim away, getting briefly turned around before they found Akihiko and hekped them to the surface.
Note: Not sure how Egon Gushike (@Hades Schweighöfer) got here, I'm sorry. they had a late evening arrival via carriage that was hours after Mahoutokoro's arrival.
Some stories should never be told...

Panic in the Lake

Gideon made no attempt to help his brother. No, he needed to get out of there, the ship was sinking and the room was filling up with water and it was oh so cold! His panicked cries would do nothing to help his prone brother who was slipping under the water.
A snotty mess by the time help finally did arrive. The room almost entirely full of water, he would accept the help he was given readily and clutch onto his savior with a vice grip. Resembling a baby spider monkey he would wrap his limbs tightly around his leg. Ibndeed, it would weigh the boy down but it would also save the selfish, childish youth.
He could see the shimmering light grow brighter as they got close to the surface and the boy would scramble away from his savior and take a greedy gulp of air as soon as his crown breached the surface. Then he would let out a loud wail. "Help me Please!" He cried with the stubborn power of at least 7 toddlers. "I want my moooooom!" Where was @George Henry? Sobbing and thrashing in the water, Gideon was absolutely finem, unharmed, just cold and upset by these terrifying circumstances.

Panic in the Lake

Everything went dark when he hit his head. This sudden flash of light, this sharp pain and then nothing. He could hear something, muffles noises mostly. He did not even notice or feel the cold water that he had fallen into, the water that would engulf him. They say that sound is the last thing to go and they were right. Odd how he could hear himself think for a few seconds, the panic that should have been there was absent, one of death's little mercies.
He would be found eventually and he would be pulled from the water but by then he was not breathing, his heart was not beating and he was cold as ice. It was possible (almost certain) that they did not recognize how close he was to death, that he was technically "dead" but still at the point where he could be revived. He was just flaccid, wet and cold, always pale so his now ashen and sallow complexion perhaps seemed par for the course.
They would abscond with him in tow. He did not resist, he could not. When his savior had surfaced, Mathias would not lift his head. He was limp and unmoving still, a mask of death on his cold face. This was not the reunion he was anticipating. Not that he expected a pleasant one, he did not write her enough. He did not give her the attention required of a man a thousand miles away. He has suspected she had moved on. It was not a fair presumption but jealousy was rarely logical and never fair.

───────────────────────────────────── MAHOUTOKORO ───────────
| ─── | It was time to go.
If he didn't go now, he wouldn't be able to get out again. At least he didn't hear any further cries for help. Tone finally broke the surface of the water and gasped for air, the coldness of the water not helping much. The teen's first thought was relating to Hia and Cristo's condition. After all, those two were the most hurt from down below. At least to his knowledge. Tone already knew Cristo was on the shoreline with Winnie, at least the last time he'd seen them that was where he'd been. But where was Hia??? And Yami, who had taken him up before?? The duo-toned teen let his dark eyes flicker around, searching for some sign of either one.... Could they have made it out of the cold water yet? How was Hia's condition? How was Cristo's condition? Tone looked around again, the darkness and coldness not helping but he forced himself to focus on the current situation. The adrenaline would keep him awake and his mind working, until he was sure they were safe and out of immediate danger. There! He finally spotted Hia's location and swam over to where he was with Yami. "Yami! How is he? We have to get him out of this cold water!" Tone exclaimed, worried. Hia didn't look good. Mathias needed some hot air to dry his clothes and make him warm and Tone wanted to check for injuries. He would help Yami take Hia's body to shore, as it would be easier with two of them to do so. Everything would be fine later on. Once the healers saw to Hia, he'd recover. Tone took out his wand and pointed it up into the air. "Periculum!" He incanted, sending up a call for help from anyone who was nearby. Hopefully, they would send a healer or two. The teen didn't know if anyone else was hurt but more healers was better than one. Just in case. What had gone wrong with the safeguards? Why had the magic barrier collapsed??? |

Panic in the Lake
The scene was fast-moving and chaotic, putting Durmstrang's quidditch captain and champion into a triage mentality. After he'd asked his friends and surrounding folk to assist with efficiently relocating people away from the main threat of the sinking ship, he still needed to make sure no one else was left behind. Fortune was with him and Valentin soon located a boy he did not know, Ritsu (@André Lebedev), and committed to helping him get to safety next. Attempting to grab the boy's hand, Valentin told him he'd help him get to the surface, asking if he knew how to swim. Either way, Valentin would attempt to escort him to the nearest known exit, even if that was the broken section of ship he had originally entered through. There, Valentin then drew his wand to attempt casting the bubblehead charm on Ritsu. If Ritsu seemed in need of more help, Valentin would try to help him swim to the surface if not otherwise prevented.
Although the guy Val had seen at a previous ball (Mathias Pride) seemed to be in a bad state, Val trusted that Ginyami would take care of him however needed to happen. There simply wasn't enough time for Val to help everyone, but at least there were enough people still upright that there seemed to be hope for saving most of the crew, even if the ship itself might be a lost cause. Still, what had been the root of the problem, Valentin wondered. He'd seen the dark affliction that appeared to be the source of the ship's damage, but what was its nature? He couldn't help but wonder if there wasn't some relation to the blight that overtook his dear friend Mikael during the previous Hexiwizard event. Still, there was still a boy to save, so Valentin turned his attention to extracting Ritsu from the flooding sunken ship.

Not Matt, erm-- the boy she had rescued-- was not responding to her. Shit, she didn't have time for this! She needed to find Matt before something bad happened to him, and something bad was bound to happen; the guy attracted danger like honey attracted flies. If Hiro said the kid was okay, he was most likely okay. Maybe he was just the strong silent type? She sighed and quickly tugged the thin brunette to the shoreline. It was relatively easy to drag him through the water, but rather than try to haul him ashore completely, she just shoved the guy to make sure his head was at least above the water and laying on the shore before diving back underneath the water's glassy surface.
More begin to surface and offer help, Sara was among those she spotted. Matt's younger brother bobbed to the surface and cried for help, a plea that would be ignored by Winnie as she desperately tried to find her boyfriend. Someone else got to him first, his was a face that Winnie did not recognize, but one she would never forget (@Jack Burnett as Ginyami Midorimori). Sara Senpai (@Hanako Tone) was there too, ever the impressive tower of a boy. Of course he was a rescue hero-- speaking of which, her friend Hero--erm, Hiro (@Kim Sato) and Matt's room mate was already rushing to Matt's side. She gripped her dress and sprinted towards them to join him. "MATTIE! Are you alright?!" She would attempt to grab the boy's head, her fingers returning coated in a sticky crimson substance, "H-He's bleeding!" What was worse was that he was unresponsive and cold. Flashbacks to two summers prior hit her like a ton of bricks. Jack standing over him, fists bloodied as Mathias barely clung to life. She gasped, desperately glancing around. "HELP! WE NEED HEALING OVER HERE!"
It was not the same as that summer, she wasn't as helpless as before. She knew some tricks, mostly muggle, but lack of magic wouldn't stop her from attempting to save him. If/When Ginyami dragged the redhead to shore, she would attempt to start preforming CPR on him. For purebloods it might have seemed like an odd courting ritual. Her hands, strengthened from her past work on her family farm, would pump his chest 2 inches deep 30 times to the beat of the Bee Gee's 'Staying Alive', which the Ravenclaw would attempt to sing through her tears, "W-Well you can tell by the way I use my walk I'm a woman's man, no time to talk. Music loud, women warm, I've been kicked around since I was born. And now it's alright, it's okay and you may look the other way, we can try to understand the New York Times' effect on a man--" Dipping her head downwards she then tried to lock their lips together to deliver two rescue breaths into his mouth.
