Quidditch Update
Written by Rita Su, First-String Beater of the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team

For this issue of the Quidditch Update column of the Hogwarts Prophet, I will first do a recap of the fall Quidditch match last year on October 14th.

For the Hufflepuff match against Gryffindor, despite losing quite a few players, the badgers' team had 5a huge win against the lion`s team by 510-10 thanks to the whole team`s effort, mainly the snitch grab. The lions must be disappointed by the results, better luck next match!

For the match between the eagles and the snakes, despite the eagles trying so hard to win the match, the cunning and nimbus snakes still won the match by 210-50 mostly due to Dam Palmer catching the snitch, without losing any players. The Cloud Cobras team is definitely a huge threat on the broom and better luck for the birds next match!

The current match would be on February 5th, with the badgers against the snakes and the birds against the lions, it is the two winners of the match playing against each other and I am sure it is going to be a heated game! Stay tuned for more information on the current match on the next issue of Quidditch Update column of the Hogwarts magazine!

Bonus Issue - Some thoughts on the fall Quidditch match as a player

In the fall match against Gryffindor, I was knocked down by a bludger in the first round, so I honestly did not contribute much to the winning of our team. I know I am still a beginner on the broom, and there is still a long way from being tough on the broom, I would keep on practicing hard and increase my strength, hopefully I would stay longer on the match in this current match! Quidditch is exciting and physically demanding, and I know it is not for everyone. If you like the thrill of flying on the broom and helping the team win points, it never hurts to join the Quidditch team of your house and maybe we can play against each other one day!
