Mentions: -

Glenys was a bit surprised and confused when the canon fired another piece of paper at her and it was a truth instead of a name. She hadn't known the canon did that, too. Maybe there weren't enough people..? But that didn't make sense, it wasn't like they were assigned in pairs. In any case, she had a truth to answer: "What do you have in your room at home that your parents don't know about? Answer out loud so everyone can hear."

Hum. Good question. She probably had a lot of things her parents didn't know about but not because she kept it particularly hidden. As long as she kept her room clean, her parents weren't too pedantic about checking, and even then why would they keep track of everything she had to such a degree? She technically had a couple of books that her parents didn't know about and that she never read, because one of her friends had given them to her after they read it and were done with it, but she doubted that something that trivial was intended with the question considering the game. Or the leftovers of the thread she used when they made the sectioned friendship bracelets. She didn't think her parents were aware she had that because it wasn't even remotely important. They knew she had the bracelet, sure, she was wearing it almost all time since she'd gotten it but again, irrelevant.

Glen wracked her brain what could be of interest but ultimately, couldn't think of anything special. "I... have a, uh, floppy disk that my parents don't know about?" Despite the volume of her voice as she made sure she could be heard, her words sounded more like a question than a statement. She wasn't sure if that covered the spirit of the question as well as the letter, but it was the only thing that stood out even remotely.

They'd found it in a trash heap (well a heap of knickknacks from a flat clearance on the front lawn waiting to be either recycled or dismantled.) At the time they hadn't known what it was, just that it looked interesting. She wasn't sure why she was the one that ended up keeping it when Carol had been the one to pick it up but that's what ended up happening. (And while she now knew what it was she still had no idea what was on it. The tag didn't say.)

Her truth thus answered, she waited for the next cannon shot. The name she got this time around was Verona Andréas and oh boy, she was going to butcher the name again, wasn't she? "Verona Andréas?", she would ask into the crowd on the ship, taking care to carefully pronounce the name as best she could. At least she tried, right?

Upon finding the person belonging to said name, she would then deliver their truth: "What’s the weirdest combination of food that you like to eat together?"

Olive nodded. ”That’s alright, it was my mistake,” she said in reply to Verona. She watched with an amused expression as he went around tapping people on the noses at random.

Now, climbing back down from the top of the crow’s nest, Olive was happy to see that the dare she had given to Jack seemed to please him as he announced that it would be fun. As she continued her climb back to the ground, Phyllis yelled up at her saying she was madly in love with her. Olive laughed and had to readjust her hold so as to not fall.

”Thanks!” she called back. “For the record, your goal keeping abilities are just as hot!” If she was going to climb up to the crow’s nest one handed, she could definitely go all in for someone else’s dare.

Once she had gotten herself back to the ground, she realized that she had been paired with Verona again, except this time he was the one asking her a truth. “How beautiful am I?” she repeated. “What, on a scale of one to ten?” she teased. “Okay, seriously now. Um… I guess I think I’m maybe like a four or five on the outside and eight or nine on the inside.”

Turning away from him, she glanced at the crumpled paper in her hand for the next person she would be asking a truth to or assigning a dare to. “Glenys Urquhart?” she asked, badly mispronouncing the name. “Dare huh? Okay, I dare you to pretend to be the person on your left for fifteen minutes.”

It seemed that again his person fled the scene (Maxi wondered why this always happened on him), and the cannon was again in charge of firing him a question. Unfolding the little piece of paper his eyes went across the words - “What is something that you have done that you blamed on another person? Answer out loud so everyone can hear.” - and he frowned when finsihing his reading. Another “answer out loud”, gah. Maxi didn’t really like that instruction to be honest, yet he had no choice.

“I once spilt juice on a cousin’s clothes and blamed it on another cousin.” He thought for a while and answered truthfully. That was - how many years ago? Five? Six? Seven? He couldn’t remember clearly, but it did happen, and his dear little cousin decided to keep away from him by then. They made up last year for good though, which Maxi felt especially glad. That was merely a little mistake that possibly everybody would make in their childhood and he really shouldn’t be blamed for it forever if he did apologise for it, huh?

And so it was finished, answered out loud to the air since nobody’s acting as his assigned person. Feeling awkward he stared blankly at the sky, when Phyllis showed up and saved him from another daydream - Maxi grinned immediately as he saw her silhouette. Phyllis had the sort of magic to make him tear his mask off and smile heartily as soon as she went into his vision, and though Maxi hadn’t figured out why yet this was certainly a positive feeling to him. He shouldn’t be too surprised if Phyllis was coming for the dare that the redhead boy gave her which possibly needed his association, and Maxi was most willing to help.

But still…it surprised him.

“Oh, um,” he lifted his eyes to meet hers, trying to make himself not look that astonished by this seemingly weird dare. Holding hands. Till the end. What was that boy thinking?! Yet he couldn’t reject - he wouldn’t. Phyllis needed his assistance to successfully complete this dare, and as a gentleman - um, no, not a gentleman but a friend - he had to lend his hand. It’s his duty, or rather his desire. And, they had already held hands before, so what should he fear? A genuine smile appeared on Maxi’s lips, “of course, milady.” He bowed jokingly before holding Phyllis’ hand in return. “We are rather like a set of conjoined twins now.” With Phyllis beside him it seemed that all his good humour returned to him, and Maxi joked with a small laugh. Being conjoined twins for the rest of the game shouldn’t be too difficult with their cooperation, should it? Though still for some reason Maxi felt a slight shiver going down from his spine to the very tip of his toes when touching Phyllis’ hand and finally grabbing it. Weird, yet he decided not to think much of it.

Smoothly getting to next round and catching the paper using his spare hand, Maxi attempted to unfold and scan it. “My person’s getting a dare.” He told Phyllis, while starting to consider what he should offer to the person with a very exotic but cool name. “Miss Manuela Macedo?” He’d call out, and since his hand was still in Phyllis’ Maxi just waved to the certain girl to catch her attention. The address seemed quite interesting with the alliteration, and Maxi noted to himself that he could possibly give alliterations a try the next time when he’d write a poem in the future - fun, he was sure of it. “I dare you to act as a famous historical figure - oh, and do tell us who you are imitating!” Announcing his dare out, Maxi felt exceptionally glad that he’s still going for a truth this round. Dares weren’t that easy to be completed if you were holding hands with another.

Finally, a dare that Quentin could sink his teeth into, or rather his tongue. A beautiful Hogwarts girl told him to lick his elbow. And he was here to please. He was here to impress. He was here to defeat all the dares.

"Oui, Mademoiselle. Bien sûr!"

And Quentin got to work. He thought his dominant arm, his right, would be the easiest. He first approached his elbow from the outside of his arm, bending it up to his face. But his tongue was a good ways away from its target. So, he stuck his arm straight up into the air, and, using his left hand, he tried to twist his elbow toward his face. It hurt. But he pushed through. He was now considering the possibility that he might need dislocate something in order to make this work—but he was determined no matter the cost.

The cannon shot his next target at him. It fell to the ground as he concentrated on his task. Not giving up, he reached his extended right arm down to pick the paper, his tongue out, still searching for his elbow.

In a garbled cry, something more akin to Gene Simmons than Hulk Hogan, he yelled his question for Jack Burnett: "Jack Burnett, tell me the truth, what's a deep secret in your family?"
Action: attempting to lick his elbow, giving Jack a question, next round: dare, of course!

"Yup that's me!" replied Haley to an unknown girl who was tasked with giving her a dare. Like a pirate? "Your wish is my command." Replied Haley and stood up. "Arrrkay, I meant. I guess." She tried to talk like a pirate and started laughing before getting a pirate hat and putting it on her red curly hair and taking her seat again. She was definitely not good at it, but she would try to do her best pirate imitation and just speak as little as possible for the next round.

"Adelaide Barrrrlowe?" she called to the round with a raspy voice and a particularly accented R. "Girrrrl, you want us to know the truth?" She pondered for a moment, "The only truth is out there on the Seven Seas and I doubt you can let me know where the treasure is hidden." She mused on for a moment, "Then tell us girls, what is your personal greatest treasure?"

After that Haley fell silent again with a smile, she wasn't much of a pirate and was just waiting for the round to end but hoped she had at least fulfilled Adelaide's Dare by necessity. But it was a fun evening and she could laugh at herself and hopefully the others. As she sat quietly in her seat, wearing her pirate hat, watching others answer questions and the boy from the previous round trying to lick his elbow she just smiled to herself.

Manuela's truth question was.. slightly concerning, to say the least. Adelaide blinked, slightly taken aback by the question, "Um, no? I don't think, well I'd hope, no one here has done that." She raised an eyebrow in confusion, but there was also a hint of amusement on her features. It was a weird question, but admittedly it was also interesting and it was a question so it wasn't as if Manuela was breaking any rules by asking it. No matter how weird it was. Plus, Manuela having to bark between each word did make it a lot more amusing.

Moving on to the next round, Adelaide's new target was Maggie Hawkins, which was thankfully a name she recognized so she wouldn't have to yell to garner Maggie's attention. She spotted the familiar face and smiled, "Maggie! I have a dare to give you. Hm," her eyes roamed the ship in search of something that could spark creativity until her eyes landed on the treasure chests with all sorts of pirate props in them. Her face lit up as she turned back to Maggie, "your dare is to go dress up as a pirate and then model your costume by walking down the length of the ship."

That was when someone called out her name in a funny accent, which she assumed was meant to be a pirate one. She turned her attention to the girl as she gave Adelaide a truth, "My personal greatest treasure? That's a great question," once again, she trailed off as she thought of an answer. She had a lot of things she treasured. Her cat, Nina. Ballet. Books. Piano. How was she meant to pick just one out of all the things important to her? "It's tough to choose, but because I have to choose, I'm going to go with my kitty Nina. I don't know what I'd without her, honestly." She smiled as she gave her answer, hoping it would be sufficient enough.

Maxi accepted her hand. She hadn't thought he wouldn't, but the discomfort of rejection would have been far worse than any weird feelings that came with holding hands. Weird feelings like a little jolt of electricity that jumped into her bloodstream when they touched and spurred her heart to beat faster--not painful electricity like getting shocked, but rather something that carried a sort of excitement. Like conjoined twins. "That we are," she agreed, returning his smile. This dare might make the rest of the game a little harder, added difficulty in locating two different people and completing tasks, but that would probably just make it more fun, right? Added challenge.

Phyllis had never been the sort to get particularly flustered, so she could be counted as, at most, a bit distracted. She hadn't stopped smiling; that wasn't completely out of the ordinary, though, for Phyllis was a pretty smiley person. She'd also glanced down at their interlocked hands a few more times than was necessary for anything, and she wouldn't be able to answer why. It was good, then, that the cannons sounded once more and she had a slip of paper to pull her back into playing the game. Right, truths and dares.

She dropped her eyes to the paper, giving her head a tiny shake to bring back her attention. Ooh, she got Olive! This was the first person she was tasked with that she actually knew. "Mine went for truth," she exchanged with Maxi, though of course they would both be hearing everything the other said for the rest of the game. While Maxi was daring his person to do improv, Phyllis waved with her free hand. "Olive, I got you!" Hmm, what to ask? "What's something you've done that you thought would be scary but turned out to be super fun?" A lot of the coolest things tended to be intimidating, hard to get past those moments of nerves and just do it, at least from Phyllis' experience, like trying a hard broom maneuver for the first time or jumping off the high diving board into the water.

Jack's head whipped about at the sound of his name. What met his eyes was the sight of a boy with twisted arms and his tongue sticking out. Poor kid must have been dared to lick his elbow. It was supposed to be impossible, from what Jack had heard, but maybe with a little magic it could have been done. The guy would have just had to lose his bones or something first.

Chuckling softly at the determined young man, Jack considered the challenge he had been given. "A deep secret in my family, huh?" he repeated, trying to think. "Well we don't really have a whole lot of secrets, but hopefully this counts. My adopted brother, Ruka, and I, share a Binding Mark, so we can communicate telepathically no matter where we are. We also know where the other one is at all times." They didn't talk much now that Ruka had stopped attending Hogwarts and there was also Kazuo who they shared the Binding Mark with, but Jack didn't think those things relevant enough to mention. He was already busy focusing on the name he had been given by the cannon and the Truth to ask her.

"Haley Rose," he called, looking over at the Hogwarts girl with a grin. "Who is your secret crush?"

While he waited for Haley to answer, Jack turned back to watch the boy trying to lick his elbow. A previous dare he had been given had been to play a prank on someone when they least suspected it. He wondered if there was a way he could additionally help the other student accomplish his own dare while playing a prank on him, killing two birds with one stone. Getting out his wand as inconspicuously as he could, Jack made the required wand movement while aiming at the struggling boy's tongue, which he was still sticking out, and said quietly, "Engorgio."

After all, with a bigger tongue, shouldn't it have been easier to be able to lick his elbow?

Olive repeated back to Ronnie the question that the Castelobruxo student had been asked to the blonde beauty. "Yes, on the scale of one to gorgeousness,"Ronnie replied back and shot the girl his winning dimpled charming smile. Olive then said that she was a four or five on the outside and eight or nine on the inside.

Ronnie blinked up at the girl. He could not believe what he just heard. "Oh come on!,"Ronnie protests out loud just enough for Olive to hear his disagreement. "A beautiful girl like you should have been 10 on the inside and gorgeous level of a model on the outside,"The blue-grey eyes boy complimented the blonde with his thick English-Portuguese accent.

"Do not sell yourself short, love,"The Duellist gave Olive a bit of short advice. "You should have more self-confidence in you"The brunette-haired boy added. Then he heard his name being called by the other. Ronnie shot his hand up in the air. "Here!"He said to the next person. "I am Verona Andréas but to make it easier for you, Ronnie would be just fine"He expressed to the purple-haired girl.

"What’s the weirdest combination of food that you like to eat together?"Glen asked the Castelobruxo student. Ronnie paused for a minute to think it over. He blinked his eyes while trying to come up with the answer. What he had eaten so far all are normal. He eats like a decent human being until one occurrence popped up in his mind.

The soft vanilla ice cream and fries combo that he likes to eat secretly. "French fries with ice cream,"He said as his answer with his thick English-Portuguese accent. "Or is it ice cream with French fries?"Ronnie asked while scratching the back of his head. confused about which one is the true combination. "Either way those two combos,"He continued.

"Nothing beat the combo of sweet and savoriness of that sinful combination"He added. "My family and friends always eat it separately but I did not follow their way. They saw it as a weirdness but I do not see it that way"Ronnie concluded. Then the sound of the cannon firing another paper had been resonated.

"It had been fun but I must bid my goodbye,"Ronnie said to Glen as he playfully bow to the girl like how a prince bows to a princess. When the paper shot out from the cannon, Ronnie caught it with the agility of a professional baseball player. He uncurled the paper. A Maximilien de Fostoncy and truth are what was stated on the paper.

From the name alone it sounds so French and the Portuguese boy smile ear to ear. Ronnie is fluent in French so does his cousin, Cash, but both of the students rarely practice it with a native French speaker. Once while Cash practiced it with Ronnie and vice versa. His blue-grey eyes scanned the ship. "Maximilien de Fostoncy?"Ronnie shouted out with a slight French accent.

If next year's Summer Camp had the same event, Ronnie would suggest to whoever overlooking this game; for those who played, they must make a short introduction about their name so no more calling each other as someone had lost in the deepest jungle. And when Ronnie found Maximilien, he saw that the French boy is holding hands with a girl that was foreign to him.

Ronnie smiled at the cute display. "You guys are adorable,"He compliments both Maximilien and Phylicia. The Castelobruxo student seems deep in his thought and kind of lost for a moment. He shook his head to bring himself back to the present and reality. When he returned back to the present, he looked at Maximilien.

"Right! you pick truth this time"He nodded to himself. "So Maximilien, tell me, what is the biggest lie you told others about yourself?"He questions the in French. He repeated the same question in English in case Phylicia does not understand French so the girl knows what Ronnie asked of the French boy was not something shady.
