So...
EmmaLee was very much done with dares. Maybe this whole game. Everyone else was getting fun dares like changing their hair colors, putting on extra pirate-y clothes, and acting in various ways like buffoons. She, though, had now had to act betrayed twice in the same hour.
She couldn't tell if everyone was picking on the "ickle firstie", as Kiernan would put it, or if she just looked like the type of person to engage in weird.... slightly romantic dares with people she barely knew. Maybe no one here knew her well enough to give her a decently fun dare.
She pouted and stuck her hands in the pockets of her dress in a very childish way as this older boy, she was sure that she had heard his name was Arjan, told her to basically pretend betrayal from another person she didn't know. She would have gladly jumped into the "sea" or changed her hair green instead.
Not one to back down from a challenge, though, she nodded and said, "Alright, sir." Then turned on her heel and headed over to er confront, she guessed, Marshal. As she walked over to him, she had an idea of a way to make herself look at least a little less like some odd, love-struck child. If she was going to do a dumb dare, at least she was going to do it on her terms.
EmmaLee blushed suddenly as she walked over to the other older boy, though, and all of her sudden burst in confidence rushed out like a passing wind. Why was everyone here not only older than her, but so much taller as well? She had never noticed how short she was until she came here, but even a lot of the students her age were taller than her. She felt like a mouse approaching a giraffe.
"Hey! You!" She squeaked at Marshal, reaching up, she patted his cheek lightly a couple of times and cleared her throat. "Comment pourriez-vous ? Je pensais que vous m'aimiez."How could you? I thought you loved me. She said in a normal tone, not realizing her slip into French. Afterwards, she turned abruptly, without looking at him, and walked back over to the snack table to hide her face in a cup of water.
What happened? She was all geared up to turn the dare on it's head and make a good show of not doing what Arjan probably wanted and instead she did neither. She got all frazzled and fell apart. Ugh. Why had she even done this in the first place? She would pick Truth next time definitely and hopefully she would get a question that didn't involve her causing drama with people she didn't know.
She turned around, a little calmer, but still grumpy about the last two rounds and leaned against the table to grumpily eat some strawberries and a couple of marshmallows while she once again watched everyone else do their actions and waited for the cannon to fire again.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Hiro was normally not too intimate. Such as kisses. He tended to reserve kisses for a certain someone. But he had no qualms about hugging everyone. Hiro was the kind of person who liked to get close to others, relished hugging people and being near them all the time. He also liked to talk a lot too. Mathias was no exception. Even though Hiro wasn't into him, he still wanted to remain close to him in various ways. Luckily, Mathias was his roommate, so it wasn't too hard to do so. And then, the older boy spoke again to him, giving him a dare. Ah, so Mathias was his partner this time? How lovely! What was given to him made Hiro tilt his head to the side. A rank of 1-12, 12 being the hottest and 1 being the grossest of them. Interesting. Everyone on board this ship? Well, that worked out for him! It gave him a chance to introduce himself to everyone and get their names in return! Possibly, that is. Hiro glanced around and spotted Emma Wynn, his first target. He let his eyes flicker over her for a few seconds. She wasn't really that good looking to him. But at least she wasn't ugly, that was something to be happy about! "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." Hiro paused as he looked at the girl. She was called Emma, if he remembered right. "Hmm, sorry but you'll get a 1 from me. I'm not that into your looks." Hiro told Emma. "But there's more to a person than just their looks!" He added, with a smile and nodded to her as he moved on to the next one. Hiro had a good memory with names and faces. It was how he'd managed to remember all the names and faces of every single student who attended Mahoutokoro. Some might call it a photographic memory but the truth of the matter was it was only a partial one. A true one you didn't have any control over what you remembered, you just remembered everything, which could blow at times. But a partial one, you were able to decide. Much better. Hiro had been blessed with such a talent. EmmaLee was next on the list and the boy looked around for some sign of her. Approaching her, Hiro would let his eyes flicker over the girl and then gave her a smile. "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest. I'm going to give you a 4. You're not too bad in the looks department. Good luck out there!" He told her with a grin and moved on to the next one, Raul Correa. Oh, he wasn't bad, not bad at all. Hiro made his way over to Raul. The first boy he'd come across so far for the dare. Well, this wasn't a bad start when it came to boys. "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest. I'm going to give you a 8. You're pretty nice when it comes to looks." Hiro remarked, giving Raul a high rank. So far, Raul was at the top of the list. But there were still many more to go. Next up was a girl called Emmie. Hiro looked around, eventually found her, and headed over to get her attention. Despite getting to meet everyone on the ship, he didn't have much time to socialize because he needed to finish asap. Hopefully they wouldn't hold it against him later on! "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest. Unfortunately for you, I have to give you a 2 because I'm not really that into your looks." There were 7 people left before he could complete this dare. Damn Mathias for making him go over all the ship to seek out every single person still playing the game! If he got his roommate again, Hiro would make sure and return the favor. Nick was the next one for Hiro to go after. The boy gave him a smile. It was always nice to meet new people, although perhaps this particular situation wasn't the best to make 'friends'. "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." He told him and let his eyes flicker over the boy before him. "Hm. I think I'll give you a 3. Your looks aren't too bad but they aren't anything particularly special. Not for me at least." Hiro said and waved goodbye to him. It was a rather abrupt meeting but that was because it was a dare and he had to find everyone. If someone looked offended, he'd approach them later and explain. But for now, time for the next person. A boy called Marshal. Hiro tracked him down, following what others were saying, and came across a decent looking boy. "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." He smiled at Marshall. "I'm giving you a 6 because you're actually pretty attractive and you have potential." Hiro remarked and wondered just how everyone would react to their ranks. Arjan was the next person, another boy, and this one made Hiro stop and stare. He liked his looks. "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." Hiro grinned at Arjan. "Lucky you. I'm giving you a 10, the highest rank I've given anyone so far. You're actually quite attractive." He told him and although he wanted to spend more time with him, there were still 4 more to go. Ah, lovely. Pax was there. Hiro narrowed his eyes at the girl, the one he had a slight grudge with. If Hiro was basing this solely on looks alone, Pax was attractive. Reluctantly, Hiro approached Pax and said the same thing he'd said to everyone else. "Hey... I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." He paused and then continued with giving a rank to the girl before him. "...I'm giving you a 9. You're actually pretty attractive." Hiro told her and then quickly walked off, not wanting to spend more time with her. There were 2 left, Evelynn and Monica. Well, 3 if you counted his roommate. He approached Evelynn, one of the prettiest girls there. "Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." Hiro paused and gave her a big smile. "I think you're one of the prettiest girls on this ship. I'm giving you a well-deserved 11. Your blond hair is lovely and your looks are really attractive." Hiro told her truthfully. This girl called Evelynn really was the best looking out of everyone on the ship, other than Monica. There was just something about Evelynn that Hiro really liked, she was simply awesome. The boy's thoughts started to wander as he let his eyes flicker over her. She looks like someone from a fairy tale come to life. I wonder if I'll get the chance to see her again... These thoughts roamed around inside his mind. It was then that he saw Monica a short distance away. Perfect! The last one before he returned to Mathias! Hiro made his way over to Monica and grinned at her, feeling happy he was able to see her again. "Hey! Seriously, we can't keep meeting up like this, someone might think there's something going on!" He teased the girl and then cleared his throat. "All jokes aside, I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest. You're the last I have to give a rank to on the ship." "Well, other than the person who gave me the dare in the first place." Hiro smiled at her. "You're getting the highest rank out of everyone here. I'm giving you a 12, the top score of the hottest on the ship. But it shouldn't come as much of a surprise. You do have really good looks." He said with a grin and glanced over at Mathias. His roommate was waiting for him to give him a rank and Hiro rolled his eyes. Mathias probably was thinking he deserved a 12 or something. Well, he was going to be disappointed with him in that case. Hiro returned to his roommate's side. Had Mathias heard him rank everyone, or had he been too far away at the time? "I gave everyone a rank. Everyone but you. As for you... I know you expect to get the top score but your dare stated that it was my own opinion on who is... attractive. And who is not. So. I'm giving you a 5 Hia. Even though you aren't really my type, you have decent looks." Hiro said and let his eyes flicker over his roommate. How would Mathias react to his relatively low score? It wasn't really low but it wasn't high either. Mathias ranked somewhere in the average range. Maybe slightly beneath average. But only on the ship. "Ah, and in case you were wondering, I gave myself a 7." Hiro said cheekily. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

Mathias would tarry on, try to find someone that thought he was hot besides himself and of course Harper. It was a contradiction of every scientific law, but there were not many in a school of veritable super models that found Mathias Pride 'hot.' So, he would face indifference and rejection, failures that should shake his surprisingly stable confidence. They did not, he understood that they just 'had no taste.' Even if they did know the truth regarding his temperature, muy caliente, there was the whole getting them to admit it. To exclaim it.
So, he would have to do the other thing he normally did, lie.
He would pick yet another target - @Evelynn Decipio. He recognized her from the quidditch pitch and the iota of fame that accompanied this. He was a fan, but he was also completely shameless and a complete asshole. So, he would approach the unfortunate and somewhat pretty redhead and then proclaim loudly. "THANKS, THATS ALL I NEEDED, NOW YOU MUST DIE!" There was no context, the poor girl would be approached and then he would do the 'unthinkable' and attempt to push the girl off the boat into the water. Thats it, nothing more and nothing less.
He would claim she said it but would never admit it if inquired. yes, he was lying but he was a liar and an asshole and in the midst of such chaos this was an opportunity. There was a problem however, there was something that the Seer would fail to anticipate. She had a wand with a dangerous core, sort of like a net with several holes in it. It would not catch much; but every once in a while, something would stick in that net.
He never said it out loud, it was just something that plagued his mind. Not out of guilt or a desire to help. It was not his problem, but it would be dramatic. There was a cruel casual interest in the suffering of others, of those who he did not know or care for. It was why people watch on the sidelines of a fight, watch a quidditch match or a duel. He was not worse than the average person, but he also was not better. He would not make any effort to help, to alleviate the suffering or to change what will be. A fatalist perhaps in that regard, he would eventually return to Hiro who was tasked with rating his fellow campers. For Evelynn Decipio:
A lot of work and a lot of chaos... almost makes one forget that they are near and that they are going to die. All for a bit of Endless Night.

"...a seven?" Mathias replied incredulously. He was at least a ten, "shouldn't you be adding another three to that?" Sure, there was no way he could compete with Arjan, the Greek god of whatever country he was from. he did not know; he did not care. He was the 'hot tanned guy'. He was rather certain Winnie would agree if she were tasked with describing him, but then he would have to die and that would be such a waste, lovely corpse, however. "Seriously, who is ahead of me?" he looked around. There was some albino, a few pasty gingers without his cheekbones and jawline. "I should at least beat the other gingers," he complained.
For next round - Sticking with DARE.

======================Arjan’s oh-so charming wink could in no way have fallen upon a more uninspired recipient. Eyelids drooped to partially obscure hazel irises, distaste riddling Marshal’s monotone features as the mountain of a moron opened his rather large mouth. The deed of the dare was done, and with altogether too much cheer for the Gryffindor’s liking.
Arjan’s words, his actions, and his very being were permeated by pomp. Perhaps, one day, he would come to understand that the contents of his mirror were not sufficient for a life fringed in joy. When the dividends of youth were spent, and all those who might lust for its abundance were gone. When there remained no one to kiss, and not a soul to offer love, save for that reflection staring accusingly back into his eyes. Perhaps then, he would learn that a heart beating only for itself was destined to implode.
In short, when all of ‘this’ was gone, he would have nothing.
But for now, arrogance would abound, and Marshal would turn away with a disappointed shake of his head. Only to be assaulted by a canon ball of papyrus.
Snatching the errant projectile on its return trip from his forehead, he would unfurl its crumpled surface prior to a perusal of its contents. Emma Wynn was to be his next target, it seemed. It was a name that rang a bell, though its utterance from Evelynn’s mouth had not constituted a proper acquaintance.
As swiftly as possibility would permit, he would locate the girl.
”Emma Wynn?” he intoned smoothly. ”I do believe our paths were destined to cross today.” Upraising the paper bearing her name, he added in a tone inflected with humor, ”Apparently this is what destiny looks like.”
Perhaps the joke would elicit a smile, pitying or otherwise, the perfect way to begin an interaction. At the very least, such would be better than the eye roll it would be rewarded by some people.
”Truth, huh?” he said thoughtfully upon receiving her preferred challenge. ”Well, then I guess it should be something good.” Thoughts drifted to something he’d been told the prefect had experienced. Something no one should have to go through, involving two rule-breaking students who had inflicted a curse upon her.
”What’s the worst part about being a prefect?”Next Round: Truth

MODERATION POST—Round IIIMathias Pride would kick things up a level with the games. Evidently distressed about the lack of response from Kayla, he would take the only reasonable next step: blind everyone with the pallor of his shirtlessness. That's one way to draw the spotlight.
Pax Zhang had been granted the task to act like a dog, something they were apparently unbothered with doing. Kneeling to all fours, they would take to the deck. Quite the clever dog, they would take to verbalized woofing to administer their dares. Emmie Bailey was teh target, tasked with introducing herself to the next person she sees and blurting out a secret. She had been one that had been overlooked by the initial assignents, the cannon tasking her with shouting out a hidden talent. She would do both in quick succession, first announcing herself as having the hidden talent of driving people crazy (was that really a talent?), then appraoching a boy with dark red hair (Mathias, maybe??) and telling them she had a fear of spiders.
Following the completion of her tasks, Emmie Bailey would then seek out the ship's resident hopeless romantic, Marshal Mozor. Giggling at the apparently lovestruck EmmaLee, she would interject and task Marshal with a dare: to tell the girl who had just talked to him (EmmaLee) that he loved her. Poor Marshal. Somehow, the world really did seem to conspire to ruin his reputation and cast his love life into chaos. Please. Continue.
Not to be deterred by the lack of fulfillment of his last dare, Arjan Oberoi would try again. This time, EmmaLee would be the target of his assignment. Operation: ruin Marshal Mozor's reputation. Her task, to go up to him, tell him "You! How could you?! I thought you loved me!" and slap or punch him as hard as she could. Simple enough. What could possibly go wrong? Well, apparently EmmaLee LeDames wouldn't quite recognize when she was speaking English vs. French, for one. Annoyed with these little drama-filled dares, she would still comply, with a mind to go with Truth going forward, however. But she would slip into French, and pat his cheek rather than exclaim angrily. Perhaps the effect would be the same, though.
Hiro Tone had taken pity on Mathias given the relative non-responsiveness of his original tasked target for his given dare. Terms would be adjusted to allow him to find anyone (good luck with that) who would be willing to tell him he was hot. Several unsuccessful attempts later, Mathias Pride would eventually target unsuspecting captain Evelynn as she occupied herself with Arjan. Shouting an assertion that she had completed his task for him, he would take her unawares and attempt to throw her off the ship. Apparently to hide the evidence and perpetuate a notion that she would deny ever having told him anything of the sort given the retaliation. And in doing so, accidentally and unknowingly let slip a little tid-bit of information...
But that was old news. Hiro Tone's new target had been Monica Evans. Abandoning Mathias, he would make his way over to her and administer her new dare. She would have to stare into Mathias' eyes for a solid 30 seconds without looking away. It was a good thing he was so charming and good looking. Should be easy, right? Conveniently, Mathias happened to be her own target that round and she would kill two birds with one stone. Boldly going up to him within a mere handful of inches, she would stare. Adrenaline would give way to peace as she took the time to observe and characterize his expression and eyes. And then, dare him to use a slippery jinx on the plank and penguin slide off the end into the water below.
EmmaLee LeDames had been one of the unfortunate few whose partners had decided to abandon ship, so to speak rather than complete the proscribed task. Nevermind. Not to be deterred, she had persisted, renewing her name in the cannon and had caught her assignment to give Pax Zhang a dare. Finding them on all fours acting the role of a dog, she would ascribe a task to eat a banana without the use of their hands.
Evelynn Decipio was another who had the misfortune of being spared a question in the first round. Not to be left out of the mischief, though, the cannon would quickly rectify that, demanding she announce to the ship when last she had shed a tear. July 9th had been the answer, but of what year? And what situation? Details, woman! Alas, the question had not been detailed enough to warrant elaboration and she would leave it at that.
Instead, she would continue with her new assignment, given Arjan Oberoi as her target for both a truth and a dare. Finding him after he had conspiratorily sent off someone for a dare, she would task him to dress as a pirate wench and inquire about his greatest weakness. To his credit, he would play along, willingly sorting through the chests for pieces of what was to be his new outfit and accepting the girl's assistance to dress. Not only that, but he would capitalize upon the moment and name Evelynn herself as his greatest weakness, no doubt earning a roll of the eyes from the girl with his cheesy answer.
Raul Correa was really struggling. Without his big bruver to hold his hand and pat his head, he was a floating duck sailing through a black sea of garbled nonsense. Every now and then, he'd be able to pick out a word or three, but was otherwise entirely clueless. He had been unable to complete the stand up comedy, and then the same as Nick Iris delivered him a question he couldn't at all understand. Progressively becoming sulky with the situation, he would turn around and point Nick Iris to the sea. The point alone off the edge of the ship was the dare. At least its meaning would be pretty clear. Or so one would think, but as the boy would choose to exit the game instead, perhaps he hadn't understood either.
@Nick Iris (@Quinn Root's iNPC) did not post and had thus been removed from the game. They are more than welcome to include an exit reactionary post.
Emma Wynn seemed to have gotten off to a rough start, being told to leave someone alone. Which she would do, occupying herself trying to figure out from where her next task would come. The canon would fire, the canon itself being the one to deliver her question. To share the details of the last lie she had told. Her answer was that she had taken the last chocolate and told her siblings they must have miscounted and forgotten they had eaten it. Sweet Emma Wynn. Innocent Hufflepuff. Yea right. Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss. Watch out.
But then would come her own time to task another. Raul Correa would be her target, and she would spare little time in telling the boy to serenade Pax. Poor Raul... in over his head surrounded by crazy children who did not share his language. Although he would stride up to Pax, he would speak a string in Portuguese expressing (likely without any understanding on Pax's behalf) his complete uncertainty of the task. Then decide to take his leave. Clearly he needs to learn better charades.
Dejected by the lack of dare fulfillment from the darer himself, Mathias Pride would get revenge on the not-as-dumb-as-he-had-thought Hiro Bakugo by making him go around and rank them 1 to 12. He would do so, going around and introducing himself to everyone before telling them his task and assigning them a number. The results from lowest to highest: Emma (1), Emmie (2), Nick (3), EmmaLee (4), Mathias (5), Marshal (6), Hiro (7), Raul (8), Pax (9), Arjan (10), Evelynn (11), Monica (12).
And finally, Marshal Mozor. Having completed his dare to act the fool with a hop around the rails, he would be contented to watch as Arjan made himself the fool. Or not so contented as the case may have been, given the latter's complete lack of seeming bother at having to tell everyone he would rather kiss himself than another. Irritation would simmer. Alone, that was a situation worth a wary glance, but when combined with a sense of over-protectiveness and jealousy for a particular friend, it could prove explosive. But on with the game. The canon would bestow upon him the name of Emma Wynn, a prefect whose name had been spoken to him on a number of occasions by that very friend. For her, he would impart a question demanding the truth: the worst part about being a prefect.
This round, only one would be kept out of the exchanges of the other students. Evelynn Decipio still hadn't been given a truth or a dare from a fellow peer. Bang. The canon would rectify that, launching a crumpled paper cannonball in her direction only moments before she had been pushed from the ship. Her task: "Your dare is to let someone fix your hair the way that they want, and leave it like that for the rest of the game."

───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───
There is always a moment of pause after the issuing of a challenge whereby one cannot entirely be certain how it will be received. Especially when that challenge encroaches upon the territory of humiliation. Evelynn wasn't one to play gently. Not really. In a world with prevalent egoism and over-confidence, she liked to test the borders of her peers and get to know what sort of people they really were. It was a trait that definitely had a tendency to back-fire given her own hesitancy and ill taste for anything less than dignified when it came to herself, and yet..
Thus when she had delivered her dare to Oberoi, ample mischief in her gaze, she couldn't entirely anticipate his reaction. Granted, the ease with which he had announced his apparent preference for kissing himself, spoke to just how full of himself he was (Evelynn had been incapable of holding back her roll of the eyes). But it wasn't just that. Nobody was so brazen to actually believe in the words he had uttered (or so she very much hoped), and yet he had spoken them without hesitation and with such conviction that it could almost be believed. The only explanation was that he had a certain self-assurance that ran so deeply that he had the flexibility to act uncharacteristically without it shaking the foundations of his identity.
Even still, she had expected some sort of objection to her dare. Even a slight hesitation or exasperation. But no. The slight perk of a brow was all hte reaction it would elicit before a smooth chuckle, and immediate motion to carry it out. His response to take advantage of her offer had initially fallen on deaf ears, eyes trailing curiously after him as he made his way to teh chests, already pulling out articles of clothing and items for the 'fit. "Er...very well.." She hadn't meant to assist with anything other than the make-up, but how could she really deny him when he was so willing to go through with it?
As he dressed, she would hold things out to him, growingly increasingly amused as the picture started coming together. Skirt and blouse were easy enough for him to pull on, but she snorted and gave a small shake of her head at the pathetic look he cast her way with the appearance of a corset. "Turn around.." Her direction would be met with the theft of the bodice from his hands. "Hold it here," she would command him, coaxing him to hold the opened girdle to his front. Walking around to his back, she would explain, "it laces in the back." Fingers would work deftly to feed the lacing through the eyelets, systematically and rhythmically going through the process top and bottom until they met in the middle.
"Ready?" She had paused, smirking at the back of his head knowing full well what was coming next and suspecting he hadn't the faintest idea. Instead of a yes or no, it would be the thoughtful answer to his greatest weakness. "Of course it is.." she had muttered, air expelled through her nose with a derisive chuckle. He was just like Marshal. So quick witted and overflowing with freely given charm.
"Take a breath." Perhaps in just a bit of engeance for the corniness of his answer to the truth quesiton, the treble of her suggestion had only barely preceded the reefing of the laces to pull the bodice tight. Not too tight, mind. Evelynn wasn't known for her brawn, and Arjan's muscle would serve as a natural buffer to protect him from any real discomfort. In fact, she would struggle just a little bit to tighten it enough to even tie it off, clicking her tongue every time even a slight flex of his abs would force the lacing to slip through her fingers. She had to work quick.
Coming around to the front of him, she would then help in whatever was needed to finish off the look. Janus shuffled indignantly on her shoulder whenever she raised her right arm, clicking his beak not and then in agitation, but never opting to fly off or strike out at anyone. To her hand, Evelynn produced a pocket powder. It wasn't just any pocket powder, though. This one had been obtained in town and was enchanted to help the user out with a flawless application. "Best just keep still.."
Only...she wouldn't quite get to the point of actually applying the make-up. A boy would approach them from the rest of the students on the ship, one that she recognized from the spring spectating of quidditch. He had been accompanied by Pride at the time.
"Hey there! I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks."
"..have you now." A definite tone of skepticism permeated the reply, sterling eyes hooded slightly below her lids. Like a moment caught in time, Evelynn stood, frozen, her hands still lofted and ready with the applicator to hover forgotten near Oberoi's face, her own head fixed in the other foreigner's direction. Brows would loft not a moment later. One of the prettiest girls on this ship. "How very kind.." Were this any other moment and not in the midst of a game of truth or dare, the sentiment might have made her blush. Instead, she only took a breath, adopted a placating smile, and turned her attention back to dressing up Oberoi's face as the boy went on. "A well-deserved eleven.." she would repeat, stifling a laugh. As though that were some sort of high honours for which to be grateful. Or that the sample size were really anything to make that result impressive. Although.. she did have to smirk. At least she beat out Oberoi with his ten.But as the moment wore on, she could still feel the boy's presence. He had stopped talking, and yet his eyes continued to burn holes into the side of her face. Only then did colour actually start rising into it. "I most certainly am not.." she had finally breathed, irritation weaving itself into her tone as he then went on to compare her to someone from a fairy tale. Again, her eyes flicked over to him, tongue cocked with a sharp rejection, "..anything of th--"She looks like someone from a fairy tale come to life. I wonder if I'll get the chance to see her again...
She cut herself off, blinking. His voice was still going, words reverberating so clearly in her mind that he may as well have been speaking right to her ear. Which was exactly what she thought he had been doing. But his lips weren't moving. He was talking. But not. Brows furrowed, confusion clouding her countenance in an instance, her gaze tugging from his decidedly still unmoving lips to his eyes, searching them for answers. But his eyes would travel to another, his feet quickly following, and Evelynn would be left in a state of confusion that rivalled that at in the spectating stands of the recent quidditch games.
"I...thought he had said something else.." She would attempt to explain away to Oberoi, no doubt certain she had just looked a touch unhinged. "Never mind.." A shake of her head would clear the thoughts temporarily from mind. It wouldn't do to dwell on it here. Clicking the powder case closed, she would take a step back, "I believe you are free to frolic elsewhere now."
With that, she would step the short distance to the edge of the deck where the nearby chest lay open and start to tidy up that which he had dug through to dress. She wouldn't get very far. Another set of rhythmic steps would draw her attention up to the image of an approaching Pride. The two had never really interacted properly before, but she was more than familiar with his position as Harper's other half, and a source of perpetual ire for Marshal, although for what reason, she had never bothered to ask. Jealousy, she had presumed. Lips parted to offer a greeting.
The greeting would never pass her teeth. Janus let out a shriek of indignation, wings snapping to the sides, one buffeting against the side of Evelynn's head as he did. He would take off in flight before she could understand why. Although she heard Pride's loud exclamation, its meaning would be lost on her, attention narrowing in on four things. The first was that he had boldly declared that she must die. The second, the realization that he was proceeding far too close a split second before the hands upon her person. The third, that she was falling after a forced expulsion of air that had spared any reaction to scream. And finally the fourth, a voice in her head that seemed to speak in riddles. A voice that could not have belonged to anyone, for there was nobody nearby.
It sounded like the halls of Hogwarts.. The work put in by the professors to keep the classrooms going and the chaos of the children... Or the summer camp.. Her hands scrabbled in the air, subconsciously searching for anything to catch hold of to keep her from falling over sideways. For a moment, she thought she had felt something, but the next, she had grasped at air.A lot of work and a lot of chaos..
Who is one? Forget what? That who are near? And near to what? Who is to die? And when? More importantly why? Her foot collided with the low rail of the deck, anchored into place to prevent her from being able to catch herself. Her center of gravity tipped, torso twisting back towards the ship as she moved past the point of the rail....almost makes one forget that they are near and that they are going to die.
Endless Night. Like this endless flight, the wind whipping past her, hair and clothing flagging and fluttering in her descent. The clouds loomed above, dark despite the sun, oppressive in the way they pushed down upon her as though expiditing her fall. Hand scrabble at her sleeve, a sudden thought occurring. If only she could reach her wand, pull it free. All for a bit of Endless Night.
A large splash would sound Pride's victory, the cold water swallowing her whole in a sudden shock to the system just as she had managed to take the wand to hand. In an instant, her clothing soaked, boots filling with water. Props weighed her down, and she found herself turned around and disoriented. Surprise had been her friend, though, the moment bringing with it a deep breath in her moment of flight right before the shock. And a deliberate collecting of her thoughts would allow her to calm enough to find the right way up. It was a good thing she could swim.
Breaking the surface with a gasp for breath, she would tread water for a moment, blinking away the excess water from her eyes. A swift breast stroke was enough to propel her to the ship where she would find the ladder. Every rung of her climb would see her surprise wane just a little more. And every step she climbed would pile her irritation. But by the time she had finally emerged onto the deck, water streaming from her form, she had managed diffused the worst of it. That was the nature of the game, she'd had to remind herself. Anybody on the ship could be a target of another's dare at any point.
Of course.. that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. Rivulets of water snaked down her form. makeup smeared and ran across her cheeks. Her hair had caked itself to her cheeks and neck, even while her clothing clung uncomfortably at her developing curves. Evelynn looked a mess. As though to add insult to injury, the canon chose its timing perfectly to peg her in the side of the head with a crumpled paper cannonball. And then a second. With a look that suggested she might actually have been attempting to mentally make that papers burst into flames, she would reach down after a solid few moments to unravel them. Standing back to full height, she let her eyes drop to the writing.
Your dare is to let someone fix your hair the way that they want, and leave it like that for the rest of the game.
Pax Zhang. Dare.
Well. One thing at a time. First thing first, she needed to ameliorate her drowned situation. There was only one person she even remotely trusted to actually put in a good effort with the task. Glaring up, she would call into the crowd to summon his presence. "Marshal!"

They tried to keep up a smiley, happy doggo face, but it was growing hard. The position they were sat was plain uncomfortable.
Finally, someone approached them, a firstie it seemed, and tapped them on the shoulder. She squatted beside them and handed Pax a banana with the words, "I dare you to eat a banana without using your hands."
Pax grinned. They had almost no shame, and at this point, they were just glad they could move from the dog-like position they had regretted sitting in. "Easily."
Luckily, their hair was short enough it didn't need to be tied back. Banana on the ground, they put their hands behind their back, taking one last look at the innocent girl. "Be prepared to be grossed out. I don't hold back."
And then, they began. They (with some struggle) kicked their shoes off dramatically, one of them flying towards Evelynn and the other flying towards Marshal. Luckily, they both seemed to miss hitting the pair.

"Sorry!" They called out, before turning their attention back to the fruit. Standing the banana upright with their feet, they used their teeth to hold the top of the banana as they peeled it. As they peeled, they took bites until the banana had been fully eaten.
Bits of mushed banana lined their mouth but they had completed it. Triumphantly, Pax stood up and punched a fist in the air. "Ha! Take that, stupid banana!"
Grabbing a napkin and wiping the rest of the banana from their mouth, they grinned at the firstie. "Hope that was entertaining enough for you."
As they continued to wipe the excess banana away, a taller older student approached them out of the blue. They spoke at them in a rapid-fire language that did not comprehend in their brain. it sounded vaguely... Spanish? I know Spanish and Portuguese are different, and so does Pax, but in this instance they cannot tell it apart. He pointed over at Emma Wynn, also on the ship, and Pax could comprehend that a dare had been given to him, relating to them in some way.
"Gracias?" They said, drawing on one of the four Spanish words they knew how to say. Hopefully, Emma had been convinced.
Turning back to the person, they lowered their voice a bit and said, "Sorry, I didn't quite understand. I hope I didn't insult you by speaking Span- You speak Portuguese don't you? Dangit. Sorry. You look miserable. Do you not like it here?"
They tried not to be patronising but slowed down their words a little. He seemed to not understand what others had been saying, after all.
As they waited for an answer from the (presumed) Castelbruxo student, the annoyingly familiar face of Hiro Bakugo appeared. Raising their eyebrow, they crossed their arms. "What do you want, Hiro?" Somehow, they were close enough for first names.
"Hey... I've been dared to give everyone a rank on just their looks. One being the grossest and 12 being the hottest." Hiro paused. "...I'm giving you a 9. You're actually pretty attractive."
Pax felt a smirk form. "Pretty attractive huh? Well, you're not so bad yourself. I'd give you... a solid 8.25 out of 10 on appearance alone." They turned to walk away, but turned back with one final quip. "Don't let it go to your head though. Don't want to make that perfect-sized head too big, do you?"
Smirking, they turned to have a ball of parchment shot at them. "Evelynn Decipio, dare."
They weighed up the options in their head as they walked over to her. On the one hand, they had the perfect, most evil dare in mind. But on the other hand, it was, well, Evelynn.
But, as they approached her, their need for chaos to reign ruled over any respect for their seniors (they were going to do great in life, you can tell). Evelynn and Marshal were near each other, which was a bad thing because part of the dare required...a reaction.
As was quite easily observed by most who weren't Evelynn herself, Marshal seemed to have quite the unrequited crush on the Gryffindor quidditch captain. And Pax, being Pax, was planning to do something about it. Something that would either be a catalyst for their potential relationship or, worst case scenario, could ruin it.
They held out hope it would be the first option.
"Hey, Captain, Marshal, sorry about the flying shoes." They collected the footwear and quickly put them back on, before grabbing Evelynn's arm.
"Sorry, just gotta borrow your gir-friend, just a friend, for a sec." They grinned widely at Marshal as they pulled Evelynn to one side over by the snack table.
"Sorry about that, Captain. Nice hair, by the way." They refrained from commenting on the rest of her...drenched appearance. "But I have a dare for you. I want you to undo one of your shoelaces-" Looking down at her leather riding boots, Pax quickly amended the dare. "I want you to go over to Marshal with this ring pop. I am going to roll this apple to you, as you kneel down. Then, I want you to say to Marshal 'Marshal, will you...... help me eat this apple? Then, you will pick up the apple that I have rolled and offer it to him. The ring pop, you can keep and eat later."
They threw the apple up into the air and caught it with the same hand, and with the other they handed Evelynn a ring pop, watching with an eyebrow raised and a small smirk. "Good luck, Captain. Oh, and I take no responsibility for any collateral damage that occurs."Action: Completing dares, giving dares, talkingNext Round: DareReducio@Evelynn Decipio, if you wanted an accuracy roll for rolling the apple:

The canon had yet again fired, loading Monica with her next victim for this round. Looking at the paper, and reading Arjan Oberoi... Now who was that? She looked around the ship and called out the name on the paper. The owner of the name was in fact the boy who had gotten everyone's attention earlier, exclaiming how, 'attractive' he was... or something along those lines. As Monica got closer, she could for sure see that he wasn't lying, he was a fairly attractive person... At least as far as attractiveness could go.
"Pleasure to meet you Arjan, I'm Monica..." She held out her hand for a friendly shake, before looking down at her paper, "I see you have chosen dare..."
She took a moment looking around the ship, and looking back at him. What on earth was she going to dare him to do? She twirled her hair between her fingers. For a moment forgetting that it was blue, and when she took notice, it sparked an idea.
A smile grew on her face, she began to eye every other person on the ship, picturing each one with various hair colours. Of course daring to change the hair colour of everyone on the ship would be too large of a task... but perhaps one would be enough. The question now became, who?
Unsure how she wanted to play out this little 'dare'. Does she pick a suiter to receive a hair styling, or does she let Arjan have a choice in this?
"Alright... I dare you to change the hair colour of the first person you see on this ship, to pink, without being noticed." That would be fun! And who knows, she ended up loving her blue hair, maybe someone would have a similar experience with pink hair? She quickly added, "You need to close your eyes and spin around 5 times, and whomever you land on, is whose hair you dye."

Emma smiled shyly as she was approached by someone she hadn't yet met. Maybe they were going to provide her question? If so, she had been easy to find as they were relatively quick. Her smile quickly fell, as they explained why they had approached her. She felt her lip tremble a bit, as really who wanted to be told they were the grossest? and then to have the line about a person being more than their looks? That almost hurt more. Emma sniffled slightly, brushing a few of the tears that had fallen off her face. Really, she wasn't sure she liked this game anymore. It had been fun until that point, though she had been nervous about the questions she was being asked. That was part of the game though and she didn't think anyone would go too far. She did have the option of dropping out if that did happen though.
Looking around, she turned quickly as her name was spoken. She felt bad that she couldn't bring herself to smile, but she was still shaken from her previous interaction. "Yes, that's me." Emma answered quietly, bringing her arms up to wrap them around herself, and doing her best to shake off the words that just kept repeating in her head.
Emma chuckled weakly at the joke, adding, "Well then, at least destiny is making things crystal clear." Emma chewed her lip, nodding as he took a moment to think about the question to ask. Emma quickly responded. "Giving detentions. I don't think I'm creative enough or harsh enough honestly." She blurted out, quickly adding, "Forget that last bit, you didn't hear that." Emma brought her hand up and covered her mouth, her eyes drifting close. She couldn't believe she had said that. Anything but that. The first part was fine, it was the second part that was the worst.
Looking just in time to catch the next piece of paper, Emma gently smiled, happy that she had gotten a somewhat name twin to question. "EmmaLee?" She wondered around asking various people until she happened across the correct person. "Funnily enough my name's Emma, and I've also been choosing truth." Emma laughed slightly nervously. "Anyway, ummmm....Whose been the most difficult person you've met at camp?
