Character Backstory: Aston has a wizard father and a muggle mother, both from America. His father has always been a bit of an odd ball, thus no one in his family was surprised by his marriage with Victoria, Aston's mother, and their lack of interest in being a part of the larger world. They lived far from town, never being a part of muggle or wizard society. But his mother still left both Aston and his father when he was nine, after a decade of marriage. After that the two of them moved to London from their old home in Wisconsin USA in an effort for Aston's father to move on and forget his ex-wife. This was also when Aston's father finally revealed the existence of wizards to him, because of their secluded location, Aston's father was able to hide his magical properties from his family. Aston joined the larger wizarding world when they moved to England, moving into a full wizard neighbourhood where his father worked as a librarian, as a result Aston became quite interested in magical history, it is the subject he is most interested in despite standardised subjects being a completely new thing for him. Both his parents are american, his mother especially was a bit of a stereotype who enjoyed target shooting and such, due to that Aston developed a liking to the sport, and continued it even after the absent of his mother. In america Aston was home schooled by both his parents, since they lived far away from any township, after moving to England his father continued doing so, teaching him more about the wizarding world this time.

First Instance of Magic: After moving to England Aston and his father regularly went on camping trips. on one of those trips, specifically the first one they took after moving, Aston has his first instance of magic. It was late at night by the camp fire, Aston and his father was talking, with a lot of hand gestures as that is what he does when he is enjoying the conversation, when suddenly sparks flew from his hands and caused a minor explosion near by, luckily Aston's father had already explained the wizarding world and magic to him, albeit was only a week after the explanation.

History

Born to Matthew and Angelina Ward, he was the youngest of the sibling pair. He grew up in a medium two story house in Northgate. His older siblings Patrick and Tess were attending Hogwarts in their first year when Ronan was born. Ronan always looked up to Patrick and Tess. Patrick would tell him stories about his latest Quidditch match, as Patrick had a lot of success in the sport. Tess on the other hand would usually sit and talk about magic with him. Patrick's thrilling Quidditch tales sparked Ronan's passion for the sport, motivating him to join a Quidditch team one day. Tess's magical discussions, meanwhile, nurtured his curiosity about spells and magical creatures, leading him to eagerly anticipate his own Hogwarts letter.

Together, their influences have shaped Ronan's diverse interests and aspirations. Patrick's adventurous spirit and competitive nature instilled determination and resilience in Ronan. Tess's thoughtful and inquisitive demeanor, on the other hand, encouraged Ronan to be curious and open-minded. Ronan had a healthy relationship with his older siblings. However, it wasn't always easy growing up in Canterbury, as he could never talk about what his father and older siblings did. He would always have to lie and tell them that his father worked abroad, and that his siblings were away at boarding school.

The family lived decent, although they didn't earn enough to take on that many vaccations, as they were a family of five. Instead, they would spend their well earned money traveling to Scotland or seeing a Quidditch match together as a family. Their father Matthew who was a Half-Blood worked in The Department For The Regulation And Control Of Magical Creatures. This meant he was usually away on long trips, inspecting and managing magical creature habitats across the globe via broomstick or floo powder. His mother on the other hand was a muggle who worked at a local school in Canterbury.

Growing up Ronan was homeschooled by Mr. Herbert, and would often find homeschooling challenging due to the lack of interaction with peers his age. While Mr. Herbert was knowledgeable, his strict teaching methods left not much room for creativity or exploration. Additionally, Ronan sometimes felt isolated, missing out on social experiences and friendships with attending a traditional school which reflected on his low grades.

Ronan would usually spend his free time playing marbles and football with his neighbours Dean and Oliver. They were around his age and were also his best friends in the muggle world. Together they would explore the streets around their home, pulling pranks on people around their block. As Ronan excelled better at football than school, as he was quick on his feet’s. One day everything changed the day Nemo, the family Owl, arrived with his letter from Hogwarts. His carefree life would now be put to the test by homework from Hogwarts Professors.

As Ronan's mother opened the door, she looked down at Ronan with a stern yet worried expression in her eyes. His hair now long and girly, which had magically grown through the night, which quite flankly made him look like a girl in his mothers eyes. Ronan's face flushed with embarrassment as he met his mother's gaze. He could feel the weight of her concern and disapproval, and it made him shift uncomfortably. Unsure of what to say, he merely nodded and followed her into the hairdresser. ''I didn't...do anything'' he said mumbling so his mother couldn't hear him, as the door closed behind them. The salon was filled with hairdryers and customers' quiet chatter. The smell of hairspray and shampoo hung in the air, mixing with fresh coffee from a small machine in the corner. Despite the busy environment, Ronan felt an overwhelming sense of isolation as he took a seat and awaited his turn.

The hairdresser, a middle-aged woman with a kind face and bright red glasses, approached them with a puzzled look. "Oh my, you could clearly use some tidying up young man" she exclaimed, running her fingers gently through Ronan's hair. Ronan's mind raced with anxiety and curiosity. How had his hair grown so large overnight? The thought of magic both thrilled and terrified him, leaving him wondering if there were other changes waiting to unfold. It was impossible for him not to worry about whether the neighbours had seen them walking to the hairdresser as the hairdresser began her work. He also worried about whether he'd ever find an explanation for this bizarre occurrence, although he was quite sure it was magic.

As the scissors snipped away at his hair, Ronan's heart pounded in his chest. He felt a mix of relief and dread with each lock that fell to the floor. The sensation of the hairdresser's hands moving through his hair was both soothing and unsettling, making it difficult for him to focus on anything other than the mystery of his sudden transformation. The hairdresser paused for a moment, her fingers still tangled in Ronan's hair as she glanced at his mother. "I've been cutting hair for over twenty years, but I've never seen anything quite like this," she said. Her voice was filled with amazement and concern.

Ronan's stomach churned as the hairdresser's words echoed in his ears. He clenched his fists, trying to steady his breath, but the unease was palpable. His eyes darted to his mother, searching for any sign of reassurance, but her furrowed brow only deepened his worry. ''He just didn't want a haircut for a while'' said his mother sharply to the hairdresser. The hairdresser nodded slowly, not entirely convinced, but decided to focus on the task at hand. She carefully sectioned off Ronan's hair, her movements precise and deliberate, as if she was handling something fragile and extraordinary. With each snip of the scissors, she seemed to be studying the strands, her curiosity piqued by their unusual texture and growth.

As she placed a hand on Ronan's shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile. "It's just hair, sweetheart. We'll get it all sorted out, and you'll feel much better afterwards." Her voice was calm and soothing, a stark contrast to Ronan's turmoil. Ronan appreciated his mother's attempt to comfort him, but he could still sense the underlying tension in her voice. Her words, though kind, did little to quell the storm of thoughts raging in his mind. The mystery of his sudden hair growth loomed large, overshadowing any sense of normalcy she tried to instill. Finally the hairdresser was done and Ronan stared at his reflection in the mirror. His hair was now neatly trimmed, but unease still gnawed at him. He ran his fingers through his short hair, feeling relief and lingering apprehension. He wondered if this was just the beginning of something far more extraordinary.

Character Backstory: Castor (Thorne) Mornstern was Born on the thirteen of May in 2012 to Cordelia and Jasper Thorne. His roots are split between Irish and English due to the fact of his mother being born in ireland and his father in england. His family life growing up was semi normal, his dad being an auror and his mother working at the ministry of magic, it was easy to switch off the responsibility of taking care of him between them. Castor was a playful child, always wanting to go out and play with bugs or just running around the house, which made it harder for his parents to take care of him because they got more and more invested into their work.

Due to Cordelia and Jasper's jobs, they soon had targets painted on their backs, and due to the amount of enemies they had they would have to decide between keeping Castor and possibly putting him in harm's way, or releasing him into foster care so he could be safe? At the end of a long discussion, Castor's parents decided that they wouldn't be able to care for him properly or keep him safe, so they decided to give him up, when Castor was but a young boy. The age of 7 to be exact. Before giving him up though, his parents had told him that everything would be okay, and for him to always stay a good and strong boy. Being sent into foster care at the age of 7 made it so Castor somewhat knew what was going on, and between his 5 years in foster care he bounced around from numerous homes, one's who didn't want him. Or ones who did that couldn't care for him like he would've needed, until the age of 11 when he was adopted by the Mornstern's.

First Instance of Magic: When Castor was only eight years old, his first year in foster care, he was having a rough night and missing his parents. His emotions built up inside of him and exploded out, his small teddy bear sitting in his bed had began to glow and then it disappeared, only to reappear a few seconds later.

Character Backstory: Ame is an only child, just living with her two parents and a small black cat named Apollo. She was born in Carlton, England, and has stayed there her entire life. Her family was always pretty well-off, being able to easily provide for every member. Her mother, Sydney Lunella, chooses to stay home with Ame, while her father, Evan Lunella, works as a lawyer. Her social life has always consisted of a small, tight-knit group of friends in her neighborhood. She rarely found herself branching out, despite encouragement from her parents to do so, and is somewhat reclusive. She preferred to either talk to the friends she already had, or stay at home and draw or paint, as art has always been a major hobby of hers. Her odd habits and preferences had her parents thinking that she may be autistic, but she’d never been officially diagnosed.

Ame was primarily homeschooled, as she struggled to follow the general education system from a young age. However, while homeschooled, she turned out to be a very bright child who was quick to learn and remember things. She grew up completely oblivious to magic, and as a result, was extremely frightened and confused when she accidentally performed wandless magic for the first time. She had never told her parents about the incident, and it was soon forgotten about until her 11th birthday, when a representative from Hogwarts came to explain magic to the family and invite Ame to Hogwarts. It took quite a bit of convincing, but eventually her parents understood and allowed their daughter to attend Hogwarts.
First instance of Magic: Ame first used magic when she was 10 years of age, accidentally causing a glass to shatter when she was startled by a loud noise nearby. When asked about it, she panicked and blamed it on her dropping it.

Character Backstory:

Eugenia was born in Athens, Greece on a rainy morning. Her date of birth was 6^th of February 2012. Her parents were both from a long line of powerful wizards. She was always told that they were pure-bloods, but remained sceptical regarding this “fact”. There were bound to be some other blood statuses involved, at least in the distant past, but she wasn’t told anything that confirmed her assumption. Nevertheless, they descended from some of the most important Greek wizard families of exceptional power (magic, not money). They lived in a cottage at the suburbs of the country’s capital Athens. Her father worked at the Greek Ministry of Magic as an Auror, while her mom made potions at the family home, which she gave to other wizards.

The first three years of Eugenia’s life were great. Her parents always cared for her and although her important status, she turned out to be an incredibly humble, kind and intelligent girl. In fact, she could read at the age of 3, a skill she learned all by herself.

After 3 years of living in Greece, her parents decided to move to England to avoid the economic crisis. The economy of the country was going downhill and prices kept rising. Moving to England was the only way they could escape from this vicious cycle. Adjusting to this new place was a bit difficult as her world was turned upside down. She had lost all her bonds with relatives and the quiet life she used to lead. London was a challenge for the Karageorgiadi family. Their little home near Diagon Alley though, soon flourished.

One year later, her sister, Ifigenia is born. Having a new member in the family was excited. Eugenia always loved her sister and has cared for her since she was born, despite being so young. The sisters had a strong bond since the beginning and were always there for each other. They would congratulate and confide in each other, live, love and laugh together. Eugenia was really sad when she came to the realisation that they had to part for her to go to Hogwarts…

Since then, all the years have flown by. Eugenia’s father has found a job in the British Ministry of Magic, in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Her mother is a stay-at-home mom and continues her habits of making potions. Eugenia was home-schooled by her mother. All her memories from her family are awesome. She often visits her relatives in Greece and they keep in touch using owl post. Eugenia is glad to be a witch.

The only side effect of having magic is the fact that she always had difficulty making friends. After all, being a witch in London, of another nationality, and an introvert are factors that affected her ability of making friends. She had some odd interactions with other magical children in their neighbourhood, whom she often saw from their bedroom window, playing in their gardens or walking down the street, but no real friendships. They just looked at each other awkwardly through the glass and no one spoke.

Eugenia wasn’t very social; she rarely wanted to go outside and play with them. And even when she tried went outside and even when she tried to play with the other young witches and wizards, she never had a memorable experience. She is a quill pall with Amalia, one of her old friends who lives in Greece. That is another reason why her relationship with her sister is super important to her.

First Instance of Magic:
Her first instance of wandless magic happened at the age of four. She was playing in her room when she suddenly got really angry at her toys. One of her dolls would not stay standing for more than 5 seconds and she hated fixing its posture constantly. Eugenia looked furiously at that little doll and her beautiful blonde hair turned green. She was shocked when she saw it, but also happy, as her parents had explained what it meant. Another time, she accidentally made her soup freeze, when trying to cool it down.

Character Backstory: I am 4 foot 6, and 11 years old. My hair is wavy and brown. My eyes are brown.

I'm very introverted, but can interact well when I need to. I have a special interest in magical beasts, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and potions. My favorite color is Green. I am very funny and sarcastic. I love to read and just get lost in a good book. Not only that, but I also like to write. When I'm not reading or writing, you might find me pursuing various musical instruments.

I was born in Oregon, United States. Growing up, I spent my time exploring the vast mossy forests, searching for the most extraordinary waterfalls, and admiring the stony beaches from the cliffside. Always in search of my next big adventure. One time I found a natural sort of tunnel which led into this big grassy area under a waterfall, when I looked up I could see the canopy of tress obscuring the sky there were rotten logs covered in moss and mushrooms of a wide variety. I stayed there that night, and when I returned home in the morning, mom and dad were livid. I never did that again. I always took great interest in reading and learning to play as many instruments as I can, and learning anything I can get my hands on. After seeing my eagerness to learn, my two loving parents, Phineas and Elora, wanted me to get the best possible magical education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. So we moved to London last year to await my acceptance letter! I have not yet made any friends here in London. Hopefully I will make some friends during my time at Hogwarts. Maybe I will bump into some people who share my love for adventure, or maybe like to read. I know my parents would be happy to see me make some friends here.

First instance of Magic: My first incident of accidental magic occurred shortly after we arrived here in London when I was 10. I was climbing a tree, so I could sit up high on a branch and read a book. Suddenly, the branch I stepped on broke and I fell! Right before I was going to hit the ground, I stopped midair before being gently set down. I wasn't sure exactly what had happened, so I went to tell my parents, and my mom started jumping up and down and squealing with excitement. She called my Dad into the room and told him what happened, and he knelt in front of me and gave me a big hug with a huge smile on his face and said, "Now, sunshine, you are truly a witch.".

Character Backstory:
Ethan was born to a pair of muggles near Sheffield. During his earliest years, he spent most of the days with his auntie while his parents worked. She made quilts for those in need during the winter, and she instilled a paramount importance of generosity in the young Ethan. As he entered school, it became apparent that his aptitude for mathematics far surpassed his reading comprehension and abstract levels of thought. Misunderstanding social cues would become a reoccurring theme in Ethan's life.

Outside of school, Ethan is fond of playing football with his mates. Sports and games excite him, and their rigid rules and structures allow him to completely understand the strategies involved. When he is alone, he enjoys writing short stories and creating fantastical worlds of myth and legend.

When he was eight, Ethan's mother suffered a catastrophic accident at her job. The procedure that followed saved her life, but her hearing did not return. As a result, Ethan learned sign language to better communicate with her. When he is troubled or scared, he often crosses his hands across his heart.

Now that Ethan is set to travel to Hogwarts, his parents are supportive. They don't understand what is happening, but have been assured that Ethan will receive an unparalleled education. He will be around those who share his abilities and aptitudes, and he will grow into well-prepared young man.

First Instance of Magic:
At the young age of four years, Ethan encountered one of a child's worst fears: a cat stuck in a tree. Seeing no one around, and unable to pull his auntie away from her quilts, he brainstormed ways to help the marooned feline. As he stood under the wavering branches, Ethan's legs began to tremble. He had tried climbing, to no avail; and he simply wasn't tall enough to reach. All he could do was jump, one leap after another, little legs trying in vain to propel him high enough to rescue the marooned feline. With each failed attempt, his desperation grew until... He was at the level of the branch, cat in hand, and back to the ground before he could comprehend what had happened.

Of course, Auntie didn't believe him. Mommy and daddy didn't either. As the years went on, the memory faded in uncertainty. Finally, it drifted to the back of his mind where it would lay dormant for seven years.
