Jennifer has a Chinese pure-blood mother, and her father is the same. She has a younger sister named Alice who she absolutely adores, and she her best friend is her cousin, who is starting magical school in Europe.
Jennifer was brought up in a relatively large house, but it often feels empty, because both of her parents work late into the night, and starts early in the morning. She is fine with it, and studys and reads 24/7, and was homeschooled by her governess and tutors. She has an endless supply of art and writing supplies, which is one reason she has a whole bookshelf and gallery dedicated to her art and books.
Jennifer was introduced to Muggle fantasy by her older cousin Emily, and now Jennifer just can't stop reading them.
Jennifer is very introverted, so she has very few friends, and those that she has often drift away. She is used to it, as her quill, her parchment amd her books are her friends.
She can be very cold sometimes, and often has a withering remark on the tip of her tounge. Jennifer tries to control it, but when she was much younger, her anger and annoyance often times explode out in waves of rage, which is only soothed when she sees her mom or dad.

First Instance of Magic: Once, at a family gathering when she was eight, Jennifer was reading a fantasy book peacefully, when her annoying older cousins started teasing her and calling her a ‘nerd.’ She glared at them, but she accidentally used the magic inside her to let them hear ear-splitting shrieks, and only they heard it. When her mother sorted stuff out, she said she was disappointed in Jennifer, but also kind of happy that she finally showed signs of magic.

First Magic: Solange Batiste, 33, and full of whimsical life, grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, alongside her pureblooded wizarding family, prominent and known in the wizarding community as a friendly and homely sort of folk. As the only daughter of the Perly and Begonia Batiste, Solange was given the utmost of special treatments that the African-American family could procure. Hidden away in a magical, private townhouse in the French Quarter, the Batistes are no strangers to Muggle culture. The New Orleans culture gives the wizarding community a sort of freedom - magic and the city have always been closely entangled, explained away by the mundane as good 'ole Louisiana Voodoo and deep-rooted spiritual gris-gris. The magic can hide away in plain sight in this city, as long as one is sure never to draw too much attention. Solange grew up walking the streets of New Orleans, drawn by Muggle culture and intrigued by the sense of community the African-American population of the city held. She would stare wide-eyed as musicians would play their songs on the streets, the sounds of the instruments waking a part of her she didn't know she'd missed. With the begrudging permission of her parents, the girl began to explore the Muggle city as she grew older, just happening to meet the man who would become the future father of her son.
Solange was twenty years old when she had her only child, Malik. She had fallen in love with the Muggle-born Lorenzo Duval, who'd lived in the lower Ninth Ward down the way—a part of New Orleans known to a particular struggle, particularly after the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina struck. Having met at Ilvermorny at 16, Duval and Batiste fell in love, very much to the disappointment of Solange's family. Perly and Begonia could barely tolerate that their daughter interacted with the muggles - opening up a business for tarot-readings, coming home from the muggle bars with stories of young men and women who'd lived wilder and freer than she could ever imagine, falling in love with a damned muggle-born wizard. They could hardly stand it. The thing about Solange is that once you tell her what to do, she'll always do the opposite. Over the years, the two were in and out of relationships – the two truly fell closer together at the loss of Lorenzo's family to Katrina, who could not exit the city in time due to lack of funds. The two were together consistently for four years before the birth of Malik - he was their pride and joy. Loved, cherished, and protected despite the roaring disapproval of Solange's family. Still, Perly and Begonia loved Solange, and after meeting the little, smiling, curly-haired Malik as a newborn... they were taken. Something about Lorenzo – something about Malik was just irresistible. The family of three moved into the neighboring townhouse. Community had never become so crucial - Perly and Begonia, previously averse to any sort of community within the Muggle world - music, theater, food, and people with rich traditions... found themselves charmed by Lorenzo and his world, influenced by the same Creole & Haitian lifestyle that they themselves grew up with. Though no muggles were ever invited into the Ancestral home of the Batistes – known as the Maison Mélodie – the Batistes were known to venture out into the French Quarter to share their own prowess and love of music, considering that's what the Batiste name is known for. Music, art, and community. Perly and Begonia accepted their daughter's choice and were prepared to grow to love Lorenzo.
Tragedy struck when Malik was only two. Lorenzo, having been deep in a curse-breaking job in recently discovered catacombs, succumbed to a terrible death. This left Malik and Solange to pick up the pieces of their broken lives as a unit, with the unwavering support of Perly and Begonia.
Throughout the years, Malik has watched his mother navigate through endless flings to bury her lost lover- muggles, half-bloods, muggle-borns - yet never a pureblooded man, to the mild displeasure of her parents. They had wished for their only child to produce a pureblooded male heir. However, despite their initial expectations, Solange's parents - Perly and Begonia Batiste - adore Malik. He wasn't their first wish, but it didn't matter. Malik had stolen their hearts despite the impurity in his bloodline, and their love and acceptance of him is a testament to the warmth and inclusion within the Batiste family.
Alonzo, unfortunately, died from an accident during Malik's youth. The two were never married, and Malik has no strong memories of his father. For as long as he can remember, it's just been him, his Mama, Granmè, and Granpè. The Batiste family has long been known for their history in music, deeply tied to the South and the black struggle. The Batiste name is synonymous with jazz and dance, and Malik is no stranger to nights out in the town with his family - music in his ear, good barbecue in his belly, and muscles aching with the amount of dancing and laughing he'd done.

Is your character a Broom Racer? NoIf anyone asks, Malik's first instance of magic was when he was playing a game of Quidditch. Yep - he was flying on an old broomstick of his Granpè's as a chaser flying through the sky as fast as lightning. A beater was just ahead of him - his bat was sending a speeding bludger directly to his face! Malik tells whoever asked about how he had the quaffle in his arms and right as he tossed the ball toward the third loop, the bludger slammed into the arm shielding his face, sending the quaffle flying in the entirely wrong direction! Without meaning to, Malik was able to prevent the quaffle from flying in the COMPLETE wrong direction. The quaffle did a full loop-de-loop around the third hoop before flying right through the center of it.
Now... what had really happened was a bit more embarrassing (despite him laughing it off in the face of all of his buddies) and straight to the point. He was on the blacktop basketball court of the elementary school he would been going to if he weren't privately tutored, hanging out with a few boys his age. They were doing a three-vs-three match, and Malik had been trying his best to keep up with his pals despite not being extremely familiar with the sport. He grew up with a broomstick, alright? Basketball was similar enough to Quidditch - but with only one hoop per team rather than three. He wore a pair of sneakers - the laces were loose, and his basketball shorts were perhaps too short. Malik was speeding toward the court's opposite side, the ball bouncing furiously against the blacktop.
His foot caught on his too-loose shoelaces, sending him flying face-first onto the ground. He could feel the obviously bloodied scrapes on his knees and elbows the moment he landed, and he dreaded the moment he looked up at the more experienced players, covered in blood. It was too embarrassing. He - Malik Batiste - heir to the family of Batiste - covered in blood because he wiped out at a stupid school game. That wasn't even Quidditch. The horror!
But there was nothing when Malik jumped to his feet and examined his body. Not a scrape. Not a scratch. Not a drop of blood. Immediately laughing with ecstasy, his friends teased him about taking a trip to the doghouse, and that was that. No bad Juju jokes - no teasing about him being unable to walk on his two feet.
He ran home to tell his mom immediately.
His family had celebrated that night (after a stern talking-to from his grandparents about fraternizing with muggles), and he was highly pleased to know that he was indeed magical. But there was never really any doubt, was there?

Ilvermorny NPC
Name: Lachlan Cassidy
PC Account Name: Harlan Montgomery
Year: First Year
Link to your Character Page: *tips cowboy hat*
Status: Muggleborn
Residence: Philipsburg, Montana
Nationality: American
History: Born into a family of prestigious Cattle Ranchers, Lachlan's parents met in college at The University of British Columbia where his mother studied Education and his father studied Business. It was a weird match for Lewis, a half-Scottish boy whose father married into a Ranching dynasty and, Kiana, a girl from Hawaiʻi who wanted to be anywhere but in the islands. The two of them worked hard with their parcel of land gifted to them by Lewis' maternal grandfather in Philipsburg and was a part of Rocking Chair Ranch's continued growth.
Lachlan was born exactly nine months after the young couple's wedding day, and would be the oldest boy of a handful of children who would learn what hard worked entailed and being the children of ranchers. Lachlan woke up before the sun when he was old enough to help with the brandings, the labor, got on his first horse at three years old and fell in love with the lifestyle and culture. The boy wasn't afraid of hard work and always had a smile on, he might've not been the brightest crayon on the box, but was he certainly the most persistent. Nothing ever could stop him and when he found out that there was a nearby hockey league, Lachy was willing to negotiate even more chores to let him try it out. That's where he found his second love — playing hockey.
They homeschooled all of their children, a mixture of their own understandings from College and seeing how much the family thrived being able to have skills and education that extended far beyond the classroom.
It wasn't until Lachlan was 9 that he found out that his mom was from the middle of the ocean and was told to stop asking so many questions when he asked why they never went to Hawaiʻi for vacation. He was far too young to truly understand what his mother was running away from, but he did learn that his mom had a distant cousin who had passed away about a year ago and he had a cousin in New York who was going to come and live with him — Lachlan was excited for someone his age. Little did he know that this was going to become his foster brother.
The boy was a little weird, sure, but Lachy didn't mind just powering through and showing him all that their backyard had to offer. Lachlan was quite the athlete and often bested his cousin/foster brother in almost every single thing that they did.
Well, two months before the new school year and Lachlan had received a letter from Ilvermorny along with Ilias to attend this wizarding school in America. At first, Lachy had no desire to leave his siblings and his family, but his Dad encouraged him to give whatever the heck this thing was a try. Considering that Ilias got one too, it'd be best if they went together to try it out. Home would always be there, if he didn't like it, but Lewis told his son to give these kids hell and show them how they did it up in Montana.
First Magic: It all happened so suddenly when Lachlan turned eight. They hadn't expected or even thought of it since but, during a hockey game when Lachlan had gotten close to the opponent's net with ten seconds to spare and for the winning shot, he had hit the puck only for it to had turn into smoke and evaporated in thin air. It was a mystery since what had actually happened, but most of the team speculated that Lachy just hit it so hard that it must've ricocheted somewhere and they all simply missed it.

Name: Jay Solace
PC Account Name:Ada Hawkins
Year:1st
Link to your Character Page: Here
Status: Wizard Born
Residence: Maine
Nationality: American
History:
Existence is a funny thing, Here's how Jay Solace came to be... Our story starts in a large coastal house, on one of the many beaches of Maine. Jay knew she was different. She knew she lacked something everyone else took for granted. Sight. Jay was born blind. She was born prematurely, witch led to the underdevelopment of her optic nerves. There was no pain attached to it, no looming threat that it would worsen. It was permanent and entirely a part of her. Jay didn't understand at first, to her, she was just another person in the house, just another person living their life. To her parents, she was a treasured jewel, one as fragile as thin ice. But this wasn't true. Jay was tough. Less like glass, more like a boulder from the beach. Smooth, and strong.
Anyone who grows up in a household with any brothers would be. Jay has two. The twins both are in their sixth year at Ilvermorny. Ada loves them like any little sister would. Secretly.
She pretends she doesn’t wait for the sound of the front door slamming open during school holidays, doesn’t count the seconds before one of them trips over the rug she’s warned them about a hundred times.
They think she doesn’t notice the way their voices soften when they describe things to her. They dont describe things like they see it from their eyes, but they try to do it from hers. They often do a pretty bad job of it but Jay appreciates the gesture all the same.
She is not defined by the dark. She is defined by the way she moves through it, unafraid, stubborn, and quite certain that her story is only just beginning.
First Magic:
Jay was playing by the ocean. It was dark out--not that it mattered to Jay--and the sea was lapping at her bare feet and crawling up to her ankles in cold splashes. The wind whipped at her face, her long tangled hair being thrown behind her. the waves were strong that night, and getting stronger. These were the waves that pulled sand from beneath your feet. The waves were getting high now. Too high. Jay could feel it.
Just as a wave was about to knock Jay of her feet, it froze. Silence. She reached out with a nimble hand, to see if it was still there. It was, but what she touched was not ocean water, but solid, smooth, glass, just hanging before her. She let a breath go. one she didn't even know she was holding. The wave collapsed, at her feat and merged with the tide once more.

Reasons for Pending:
- Given you will be tackling a very poignant topic with your character being blind we will require a little bit more information to make sure you understand the diligence you need to give in writing this. Please add a little to your backstory about what happened to make Jay be born blind or how she became so during her life.
- Your trunk contains a special font, something we do not allow so, please amend this.
- Your stats currently add up to 36, they should be 35.
Edit
I hope this meets the requirements,I made edits in Jay's backstory saying why she's blind ( thats what you meant when you asked me to "add a little to your backstory about what happened to make Jay be born blind or how she became so during her life." right?) and I fixed the stuff in the trunk too.

Status: Muggleborn,
Residence: Philipsburg, Montana
Nationality: Hawaiian
History: Ilias’s upbringing was complicated. The Hawaiian boy was born into an unstable family of a single mother, barely a step into adulthood when she fell pregnant. His biological father, a man of a magical background, unbeknownst to all of them, has never been in the picture. The man was a tourist, leaving not a name, nor memory for the young Ilias, but a lifetime of trauma for the young woman who unfortunately met him. Circumstances and low-class poverty left her isolated and unsupported, and while she carried Ilias to term, the circumstances of his conception cast a long shadow. She did her best in those first years, moving to New York in search of a fresh start, trying to build a new life for herself, but the weight of resentment and financial struggles never fully lifted. By the time Ilias was four, she succumbed to substance abuse that made her unable to provide the stability he needed.
With child protective services quickly stepping in, Ilias was forced into the foster system, where he’s for the last years been jumping between homes. Nothing ever seemed permanent, none of them working out long-term for various reasons: some were well-meaning but unprepared. Sometimes it was due to the family’s only interest in money over parenthood. Other times it was due to difficulty mixing existing children with Ilias, who, as time went on, became more jaded and cold towards strangers. By the time he was ten, options had run out, until a distant family in Montana, made aware of his situation, stepped in, albeit a few years too late to have saved him the turbulence. They took him in as a foster child, and that’s where he’s been living for the past year.
His situation has been far from perfect, but there have been good moments, albeit few and far between. It was from some of these foster homes that Ilias was introduced to rock climbing, a passionate hobby he’s brought with him to Montana, as well as showing quite a penchant for archery.
Moving between homes has made him adaptable to an ever-changing environment, and well-rounded in terms of meeting new people and cultures. Yet, he’s emotionally detached and guarded, knowing connections rarely last. With no one else to count on but himself, he’s driven and self-sufficient for his age, dreaming of earning a scholarship for university and becoming a surgeon when he grows up. While initially skeptical of his moving across states to his newly-discovered relatives, as well as feeling resentment towards their well-off lifestyle, Ilias is slowly warming up to the family and their son, Lachlan.
Finding out they’re both magical and will be attending wizard school was, for Ilias, more dreadful than exciting. Another move, another loss of control, fearing it will put a stick in the wheel for him to pursue his medical dreams.
First Magic: His first instance of magic occurred at the age of 9, in his last foster home before the move to Montana. During an argument, one of the other children shoved him into a glass cabinet before running away, presumably to fetch their parents to show that Ilias broke the cabinet. Bracing for impact, instead of crashing, the glass bended like water around his body and didn't shatter. When the other child dragged their father into the room, the cabinet was still standing. Ilias pretended like nothing, planning to never mention it to anyone.

Ilias magical background, as well as Seer heritage is beyond his knowledge. Ever since he was a small child, he’d had uncanny intuition, an unsettling feeling in his gut when facing new situations. Suspecting ill-intent before it’s confirmed and reading hidden motives like a holy script are only a few ways this manifests in his life. He thinks it’s a talent earned due to changing homes constantly, over time finding people to be predictable in nature, meanwhile others who know him would just call his cut-throat judgement pure cynicism and skepticism. It’s a skill he finds useful, without knowing the full meaning behind his intuition. He’s not always good at following his own advice, though, notorious for lying to himself and contradicting himself due to deep-rooted insecurity. The answer is usually always within him, just out of reach.
Magic and the seer gene has been dormant for generations, a secret buried with the last wizard of their lineage. Ilias’s great-grandfather was a non-magical child from a distant line of wizards, carrying the Seer gene forward that eventually manifested in Ilias. The man was a Seer himself, albeit undocumented since he was unaware of his own magical background. He married a muggle woman, a sister connecting their family to the Cassidy’s, and proceeded to have children of his own. Afraid his visions would put him in a mental ward and risk his career and family, he kept his gift hidden, while frequently burdened by the visions that seemingly had no explanation. After a long time of suffering, the man eventually took his own life to escape the perceived insanity. His death was quietly attributed to mental health struggles, leaving his family grieving but never questioning the true cause.
His death put the family he left behind in financial struggle. Having to provide for her family all on her own, without a job and education after being a stay-at-home mom all her life, his wife only had his inheritance to finance themselves with. It was enough to scrap by until her own death years later, though leaving little behind to secure their children's future. One of these children would later become Ilias's grandfather, an unremarkable man that had to work hard all his life to put food on the table, a quiet debt of his fathers death. After marrying a woman of traditional, and stern religious beliefs, Ilias's mother was born, and with her, the Seer gene followed her until Ilias's birth. After several generations of non-magical humans, his mother never believed herself to be anything else than muggle. No one else ever questioned it, either, with their whole family being regular human beings, albeit with mental health issues haunting their family tree.
She was disowned after the accidental pregnancy, losing all contact with the remainder of her family still alive that wanted nothing to do with her and Ilias, albeit few, hence the decision to move away from Hawaii to find a new life in Manhattan.
While no one knows who Ilias's biological father was, he had his own magical background with a latent Seer gene in their history, more than four generations back. The man was non-magical himself and unknowing about this detail of his ancestry. It might have been insignificant to their family, but crucial for how both of these Seer genes eventually woke in Ilias.

First Magic: It all started with two pure-bloods set in dates—one was heartbroken and one was merely waiting for a miracle. A quick glance, some flowers, and a grin from Eros was enough to get Cielo swept off her feet. A plead and they went of living their lives in the U.S.
Cielo wasn't an illegal immigrant, but she was still one, reluctantly. A year into their marriage and Nestor was born; three years later Callia came next.
Their home life was stable—warm, happy, and full of love. Because Cielo was still adjusting to their life at the US, even after 11 years, she was still fussing about their westernly cultures and how different they were from her spaniard ancestry. Eros would just scoff as Cielo would commentate on how their neighbors' spent their mornings, how the children would ruckus across the streets, but never once had she greatly spited them, they were, after all, the ones that gave her the most amazing gift ever.
Nestor had always been the person Callia had looked up to. He was her role model, her mentor, her everything. Nestor had learned from an early age what an older brother had felt like, because their parents were often off working—their mother finding new jobs to apply to—they were often left with their aunt Louisiana to be taken care of. And let's just say, Louisiana isn't exactly the aunt who'd had the “motherly instinct”.
Louisiana would often be on meetings the rest of the time, occasionally pausing whenever the children needed food or something major, but mostly just brushed off their small needs. That was when Nestor usually took charge of. He would be the one comforting her when she cried, the one that would spend his time nursing a scrape she'd earned from playing, and the one who'd often keep her safe because Louisiana was too busy trying to keep her job to support their family.
Even though it was hard, Nestor never regretted taking care of Callia, in fact, he had loved it. Too much that he vowed to himself that he would do anything he could to keep her safe, even if it meant giving himself up, too.

Is your character a Broom Racer? Yes.It was like any other Tuesday morning: they were dropped off at aunt Louisiana's, Louisiana shut up in her bedroom and off to work, and the children playing in the living room. Nestor must've felt the responsibility of being an older brother gnawing on him, because for some reason, he had fallen asleep, and when he woke up, Callia was no longer in his grasp.
His hair still tousled and vision blurry, he sat up and looked around the room, a soft giggle caught Nestor's ears as he looked up to the table beside the sofa, where Callia was now standing on and trying to grasp the glass vase that contained pink lillies—her favorite flower.
Sensing danger, the 9-year-old immediately shot up, cupped his mouth to make sure Callia heard him even though they were less than five feet apart, and yelled, “No, Callia!”, still silently hoping that his voiced didn't make its way through the doors of his aunt's bedroom.
But as stubborn as Callia was, she hugged the vase, that was nearly toppling the side of the table, and managed to make the it fall sideways, Nestor's hand immediately flew to their direction in an attempt to save his little sister.
Callia, for some reason, had survived the fall in his hands without as much of a scratch, and so did Nestor, even though the carpet around them was sprawled with sharp, jagged pieces of glass. The commotion must've been heard by their aunt as she came running immediately and asked, “What happened?”, as her eyes darted from the broken table, the glass shards scattered across the floor, and Callia nestled between Nestor's arms, both miraculously unharmed.
Sighing with great relief, their aunt ushered them to sit as she hurried to get a first-aid kit even though both children were completely unharmed.
When their parents had found out about this, they were first angered by the fact that they thought their children were hurt, but after what their aunt told them, they too were exasperated by the fact that both of them had survived the situation without any scratches or bleeding. Since Nestor had already known of his parents' magical heritages, he was absolutely out of the moon when he repeated the story to them, possibly with a few exaggerations, but not that much.

Emily's mother's name is Elizabeth Calder, and Emily herself was named after the poet Emily Elizabeth Dickinson. Her father's name is James Calder. Both her parents are wizards and witches. Her mother graduated from Ilvermorny in Horned Serpent but her father graduated from Hogwarts in Hufflepuff. She lives in New Jersey, USA. She has three cousins, George Calder in Ravenclaw, Lily Calder, and Andreas Calder. And two maternal aunts, Sophie and Mary Calder.
She was born in Mumbai, India just like her cousins. Her parents are both technically half-blood wizards. Her grandparents are Muggle-born. But she was brought up with Muggle technology. This makes her a half-blood. She was brought up under such conditions to give her an introduction to the Muggle world. Her parents refrained from using magic for the nine years they lived there. At the age of nine, she was introduced to the wizarding world for the first time.
She was born in India, around a month after her cousin George. At the age of one, she travelled to her New Jersey house with her mother. When she was two, her elder aunt, George's mother, arrived in New Jersey after giving birth to Lily Calder, but soon left when she was two-and-a-half. When she was three, her younger aunt arrived after having a boy named Andreas. At the age of nine, she and her cousin Andreas travelled to New York, where all was magic and wizarding stuff.

At the ripe age of seven, once while playing video games at her Muggle house in New Jersey, she lost to her brother George, who was visiting her. This caused her temper to rise and she accidentally made the closest chair explode. Her mother came rushing in and George told on her. Though it was destructive, it definitely confirmed Emily's introduction the the magical world. Two years later, she was taken to her wizarding house in New York.

Emily's paternal grandfather, Julian Calder, was a well-known Auror. He was well-known because he was a Metamorphmagus. But his trait didn't get passed to his son, James, and he feared it wouldn't pass to Emily as well... until she joined school. Then the signs came.
She was born with blond hair, but her mother was putting her to sleep one day when she was eleven years and five months old, during her Christmas holidays from Ilvermorny, when a mosquito bit her legs. She began to cry, but when her mother calmed her down, she noticed something absurd. Her hair was slowly morphing and transforming. In front of her eyes, Emily's hair turned from blonde to yellow ochre, then to coral, then to orange, then to vermilion, then to flaming red. She thought her eyes were playing tricks on her, so she blinked once. Twice. Thrice. Emily's hair was still red. Then boom, it was yellow again. She went to sleep thinking it was a weird dream. But this didn't click into her head that her daughter was the first Metamorphmagus in the Calder family, and that she had inherited the trait from her paternal grandfather.
These signs continued to appear in short intervals, but a few of them were so absurd that her mother could not ignore the fact anymore. Like when she was a lttle more than eleven years old, she couldn't find her book, so she began crying. As teardrops rolled down her face, her hair began changing color. Again. It morphed into green, and then brown. Then her fingers too turned light brown. Her mother realised that her daughter needed to learn to control it or else, danger was coming. Again after five months, her nose turned into a pig snout when she was watching Peppa Pig in her Muggle-technology house.
When Emily was seven, her mother told her for the first time that she could change her features and that these kind of people were called Metamorphmaguses. That was too much for Emily. It was overkill.
She began to cry hard. She cried so hard that her features didn't change for once. For the next two years, not a single sign appeared that she was a Metamorphmagus. When she was seven, she was leafing through her mother's books with George. George found a book called Morphing with Metamorphmaguses. He read it along with Emily. After reading the book, Emily was finally consoled. She realised that being a Metamorphmagus wasn't a disease and she would not be teased and laughed at at school. Also, being seven, she wasn't old enough to make changes too severe.
From the age of eleven-and-a-quarter, her hair color changed to represent her emotions and her eye color changed according to her surroundings. Her hair turned red when she was angry, blond when she was happy, pink when she was excited, blue when she was sad, and light green when she was bored. Her eyes turned blue when it was sunny, green when it was raining, brown when it was winter, and a hazel when it was fall. She also sometimes amused and entertained her family when they were really bored or during mealtimes. She had learnt to live with her ability and walk hand-in-hand with it.

DoneSTATUS: Pending, Lawrence, 6th April
Reasons for Pending:
- Your backstory needs to be clear on where you live and when you moved around. You start by saying that your mother lives in New Jersey but do not confirm if you live with her. Then you state that you were born in Mumbai but give no context to this. None of the names of your backstory have any relation to Indian names and that isn't necessarily important as of course you can get british and american etc indians we need to understand the complexities of what this means for Emily. Then finally you mention that you live in London in your FIOM and then move to Hogsmeade. All of this needs clear documentation on when the moves occurred and why. Specifically as you need to live in America to be a student of Ilvermorny.
- If her parents are both wizards she would only be considered a half blood if one of them was a muggle-born wizards. For Half-bloods we require you to give us the full details of her parents blood statuses.
- Metamorphmagus do not have the ability to change into animals, this is the animagus ability which you will not be able to take if you become a metamorphmagus and is not available until 5th year or later. They can change their features minimally to have animal parts (like growing ears/claws) but not purposefully, at the age of two, when they would have very little control over their abilities. Remove or edit any mention of transforming into a half-fox.
- Metamorphmagus also requires an additional 500 word application as part of this application to be approved. This is 500 words on how this has affected you growing up and any history of it within your family line. The metamorphmagus part of your backstory therefore also would not count towards the 200 we need in backstory of which you then only have 133 words.
- We need more context as to why you grew up with muggle technology, this technology doesn't work if there is any magic around. This may be answered in you informing us of your parents blood statuses but we need the elaboration from somewhere.
- Your FIOM would have to happen in America if you are to attend Ilvermorny, as yours happened in the UK you would be invited to Hogwarts. Please come up with a reason as to why you then were able to attend Ilvermorny or change the FIOM.
DonePending, Célestine, April 19
- Your backstory has repeating information and is a little bit hard to follow. Please edit it. - Metamorphmagus application requires some edits too. You can't be the first in family with this trait. You can't keep changing hair color and shape of nose as it's y1 abilities on site for Metamorphmagus.
- Trunk can't have special fonts, size less than 100 and color. Please edit it.
Please make sure to edit information in this application and in encyclopedia.
Done, 75 font size and color not part of trunk, Changes after joining school.Pending, Santiago, April 23
Reasons for pending:
- There are still repeated and unclear sections in the backstory. Please revise and remove duplicated information.
- There's still issues with the ability application. Before her first year, she's not able to change hair color and shapes of body parts. You can focus on writing how this ability has appeared in their family history instead and how it has been passed down to her.
- The trunk still has signature font, 75 font size and color. Please edit.
DonePending, Santiago, May 1oth
Reasons for pending:
- The trunk counts as the whole post, even if it says "end of trunk." We can't accept it as long as there's color and smaller font size in it.
- There are a few timeline inconsistencies regarding Emily’s Metamorphmagus development. The profile mentions manifestations beginning at age 11, while later passages reference Emily learning about the condition at age 7. Please revise the chronology for clarity and continuity.
Reminder Sent - Sako, 21 May
DonePending, Santiago, May 23rd
Reasons for pending:
- The credit in the Trunk is size 75 still. Please edit.
- The hair change feels quite dramatic for her age. It would work better as a more subtle shift, as full hair color changes are a later-developing ability.

- Currently stats show a total of 31 stats, please remove 1 stat point from one of the stats as they should have 30 only ( reminder to make sure both this application and their ency has the same stats

With an origin of German or French, Emmeline (Pronounced Em-uh-lin) suggests a person with a determined spirit and a natural inclination towards achievement. The girl likely possess a strong work ethic and a quiet strength that allows her to overcome challenges with grace and intelligence. Nicknames for Emmeline are Em (Most frequent) or Emmi. She was born in the city of Birmingham just one year after her cousin, Julia.
As a child, she lived in Birmingham. She was a curious, and determined child who loved to achieve. While she was quiet, Emmeline used to her advantage. People often underestimated her, which wasn't pleasant, so she often outwitted them solely by intelligence and grace. About a year after Emmeline was born her other cousin (Julia's sister) Orla was born. Due to this, visits from and to the Evans family increased, and Emmeline slowly started feeling a very deep connection to her cousins.
As Emmeline turned 5, her mother, Estoria decided to start homeschooling her. Estoria, while maintaining an extensive knowledge of witchcraft and wizardry, she also had an equally impressive knowledge of basic things. She taught her daughter well and while there was no doubt Emmeline would excel in magical studies, she did quite well in basic knowledge such as math, and english. Though she did learn about science, like most wizarding kids, her knowledge was slightly more limited due to the fact that magic did bend quite a few laws of science.
A little after her 10th birthday, her mom gave birth to a little baby girl, and Evelyn Harris was introduced to the world.
As she turned older and advanced towards 11, the age she could finally go to Hogwarts, she began developing an even stronger connection with her family. On the paternal side, whom she met and interacted with most, she had her mom, Estoria Harris (Miller), her aunt, Eliana Evans (Miller), her uncle, Leon Evans, her 2 cousins Julia and Orla Evans, whom she was one year younger and older to, and finally, her grandparents, Robert Miller and Emma Miller (Winters). Whereas on the paternal side, with whom she interacted considerably lesser, she had her dad, Richard Harris, her little sister, Evelyn Harris, and her grandparents, Aurelia Harris (Lysta) and Michael Harris. Her whole family, apart from her paternal grandfather who was born and brought up in the USA, was british with long legacies of mainly Ravenclaw and Hufflepuffs.
In 2025, the year Emmeline turned 10, Julia started going to Hogwarts and Emmeline couldn't wait to follow her footsteps and join Julia! But her hopes were shattered shortly after christmas during the christmas holidays. For christmas that year, Emmeline and her family had decided to go over to the Evans family, as to spend time with Julia since she was to come back for her winter holidays on the 23rd of december. They arrived on the night of the 22nd and Julia arrived the next day morning. All was going well until they found out their grandpa, Robert Miller, had been admitted into St. Mungo's over being extremely ill. The next day morning, they rushed over to see him, but despite all their efforts, he could only live till 2 days after christmas. The days following the incident were subdued and gloomy. But the horror truly arose over inheritance. Her grandpa had left behind a lot, and specified things well in his will, but there were a few technicalities. It resulted in her dad, Richard, and Julia's dad, Leon. Because of this, Richard made the hasty decision of moving to the USA, and living in her grandpa's ancestral home in Washington D.C. Her hopes for Hogwarts were crushed as easily as paper, leaving her with no choice but to attend in american Wizarding school of Ilvermorny. She protested against it, pleaded, and begged but her father wouldn't budge. His ego won over him, costing him the price of happiness.
To this day, Emmeline doesn't who was right, neither who she supports in the fight. All she longs for is to have her family whole again. To have it peaceful and happy as it should be. Estoria and Eliana, being twins, couldn't be forced to close their contact. They still owl each other every now and then, sometimes allowing Julia and Emmeline to send owls to. But that didn't close the enormous hole in Emmeline that just kept getting bigger. At this point, making friends at Ilvermorny was her best hope.
First Magic:ReducioEmmeline's first show of magic appeared when she was 7 on a perfectly ordinary day. She and her family were over at her grandfather's ancestral home in Washington D.C, where Michael Harris, her grandfather, had grown up. The girls, Emmeline and her cousins Julia and Orla who had accompanied her for the holiday, were playing around to cheer up Emmeline for losing a game. They accidentally knocked over books from a bookshelf. The adults came to see what the commotion was, and saw that half the books had fallen over. They were understandably angry, and unanimously told the three girls to pick them all up and put it back. Normally, this task would have been fine, but since the family was old, and loved reading, their bookshelves were huge, often taking up half the wall, which meant there were quite a few books. Julia and Orla got to work feeling sulky, but since Emmeline was already annoyed and a little bit cranky, she got uncharacteristically angry and threw a fit. During the small phase of her shouting at the parents, mainly her mom, the books shifted themselves and magically started rearranging themselves exactly as they were previously.

Esther was born on the 18th of October in 2013. Her mother, Amelia Beaumont, was born in London, Britain, to a pureblood family. However, when Amelia was 4 years old, they moved to New York City, and she, along with her twin brother Jonathan, attended Ilvermorny. It was there that Amelia met Oliver Meadows, who was a half-blood wizard. She developed a crush on him despite knowing that her mother would never approve of him, as his mother was Muggle-born and he was not that interested in academics, choosing to focus on other things, which the Beaumonts found unsatisfactory. Amelia did not listen to her mother's instructions and married Oliver. Her father had somehow managed to convince his wife not to disown her, as he had always admired Amelia for her hardworking and kind personality.
Amelia moved to Sacramento, California, where Oliver was brought up, and two years after their marriage, she gave birth to Esther. Oliver worked as a Herbologist while Amelia worked as a Healer before retiring to take care of Esther. In March 2016, Amelia gave birth to another baby girl, who was named Robin, as on the day she was born, 2 robins came to their house. Esther lived happily in their residence in Sacramento, which belonged to her late grandparents on her paternal side. Despite the presence of muggles in her family tree being clear, she was raised without much knowledge of the muggle world; however, she was curious to find out more about it. She, along with Robin were homeschooled by their mother, who taught them how to read and write, how to do basic arithmetic and all about the wizarding world. Like her father, Esther developed a fascination for plants and animals, both magical and mundane. She also had always wanted to fly on a real broom instead of a toy one and play real Quidditch.
Life seemed happy; however, one thing Esther didn't account for back then was the attitude of her relatives, specifically on her mom's side. As Esther and Robin had notable Muggle heritage in their family tree from their father's side, their maternal grandmother, Sarah, treated them with disdain whenever they went to visit in the summer in New York City. Jonathan was a high-level employee at MACUSA, and Oliver was only a Herbologist; according to Sarah, it was not a respectable profession. Esther hated the high-rise buildings and the loud noise of the city; it was something very rare back in her small town in Sacramento. Jonathan and his wife had a daughter named Beatrice, who was only a few months older than Esther, but as she was born in January, she got to go to Ilvermorny first. Although the two girls were very close, Sarah, Jonathan and his wife would always force Beatrice to stop associating with Esther, although their efforts failed every single time. Bea would tell stories about the school while Esther would listen every single time enviously, eager to join her someday. She was also very friendly with Robin, the three girls would chat all day. The Meadows family also owned a tawny owl named Rowan who was responsible for all the post delivered in the family.

One day, when Esther was 6 years old, she was carrying a small flowerpot with a single daisy to her mother, who had asked for it to decorate the garden. She wasn’t too happy to do the work as she was playing an exciting game with Robin. She was halfway outside when she noticed that the single daisy had turned into 5 of them. At first she was very confused. After that incident, her parents sat her down and explained who she really was.

Status: Wizardborn(If able, this said in request to change it)
Residence: New York City, United States.
Nationality: Filipino
History: Pre-Ilvermorny, Enki had quite the introduction to magic even before it, as his Wizardborn had run in the line for a bit. With his family as wizardborns and almost only Wizardborn or so aside from cousins and aunts and that, left and right the adults like his older siblings and parents had magic being used, sometimes helping out with stuff the kids needed or in dire situations. With this said, all the kids had been getting a mix of magic and muggle stuff, their family a mix of blood-statuses. Enki is one of about six kids, surprising two parents can keep up, even with magic on their sides. Throughout growing up, the boy had been given the freedom of his experience of magic and the usual world. Being a young kid, as well as having multiple siblings, he did get a bit hurt quite often, though nothing that wouldn't heal on its own or from his parents. They did ask him and his siblings to calm down on their stuff though, not wanting to see the kids as much if they could help it. From there, he had started to chill like he was asked, but had been left with a small scar just above his upper lip after an incident in the past from getting bit by a werewolf at around nine years old. Going in age order, oldest to youngest, it is set up as Alaric(20), Lior(18), Xena(17), Zian(17). Enki(13), and Asherah(10) . Their parents had met when both were on a trip to Miami during one of the many past summers, getting to know each other to where it was a friendship that grew into romance. Before that time, their mother had lived in The Philippines with her parents, being Filipino on that end due to being born there and having it running in her bloodline for quite a bit. Meanwhile, residing in New York City, their father was living quite the crowded time, doing his best to make it around before and after his education. In a few years once they thought everything over and she had moved there, they had gotten married, having all the kids years after, Luz being their mother's name while their father's name was Elijah. The whole nationality, or citizenship, as some places see it differently, is rather interesting though, as only really Enki and Lior would be considered Filipino themselves.
First Magic: Enki's first instance of magic had been when he was about nine. He was playing with his dog one day after a session of a tutor for extra education alongside what his parents and siblings taught, throwing around a Frisbee for him to catch and bring back, giggling in excitement and going through a smooth process with it. During one of the throws though, as if a sudden force had built up, a glass plate near him had shattered. This had surprised the boy as moving to get out of the room, his parents coming to clean it up shortly after, as well as keeping him under supervision for the rest of the day while proud for his first sign of magic.

If special race/ability, how did they join the school? As noted, Ilvermorny has run for many years, not having many half-bloods but lots of purebloods, muggleborns, and wizardborns. It was also stated that abilities are normally hidden, which brings us to where this special race would be kept hidden, really only known to the family as of a safety measure and how they may be looked upon.

Enki would be the first to start it, they all knew… He was a werewolf…. It had started back, as remembering the years to go, when he was nine. He remembered that day as if it were yesterday, having not expected what went down at all… August 26th, 2021, they had all been out enjoying the last few days of summer break before school started up with their family, Enki spending his usual time in a book or with Xena, if not, Alaric. For this day, getting ready early to have the entire day, they had gone around to a park, letting the younger ones at the time like Asherah, Enki himself, and the twins(Xena and Lian) play around while the older boys either joined or did they own thing. Within this time, they had also had lunch outside, having packed it in act to have their day of spending time together and exploring. Heading down to an ice-cream place with a half-blood cousin, Maliya, they had all gotten some ice cream with Alaric’s help, as well as Mali’s older brother, Adriel. Oh, the amount of scolding they got for doing it, worth it though. Nine years old, having already learned quite the bit from the parts of his family, personally loving these vanilla scented candles they’d get him and that. Honestly, that was probably where his thing for vanilla cologne came from. He remembered the taste of that, having wondered where she found them until he did himself, as it had somehow been lollipops his aunt obtained. There was something else with it, he could recall that much too, but he hadn’t been getting it as much as he did after the incident happened and he was reminded of what he was.Finding a nice place to eat nearby, they had gone in, getting their share of stuff while chatting before heading back out to the park to let Enki, his siblings, and their cousins finish up. Enki had been playing with Asherah, gently rolling a ball on a ground due to her young age, slowly processing as she kept throwing it. During one of these throws, it had fallen near a stream of water, big woods behind it. Not thinking, as he was still young and was playing with his sister, he had gone to get it, freezing when met face to face with a wolf. He moved to run, but tripped on a jagged rock, also making the scar he got more painful from where it hit. By how it lunged, it seemed to have been trying to get a bite on a more full area of him, yet got his upper lip from him turning in act to escape. Screams had started to fill the air, both Asherah and Maliya having noticed, the others rushing over after as a spell was casted as defensive to scare away the wolf. So many screams, so many sores from falling, and now what felt like a new life. This was actually kind of part of what led poor Enki to become more blunt, gaining anxiety of being alone near trees outside and trying to learn how to read people to know their intentions, only chilling with his family or close friends. It was rooted into him, but also a chance, whether one way or another…

- The place of residence should be listed as 'New York City, United States'
- You will need to explain why your nationality is Filipino, rather than American
- Referring to 'Hogwarts' does not make sense as your character will be attending Ilvermorny. Please explain where your character lives and is brought up.
- References to muggle/No-Maj culture does not make sense with Ilvermorny lore and North American Pureblood culture. Please adjust this to be lore compliant.
- Please do not reference existing canon characters like the Lestranges and Malfoys
- Non-magical injuries should not leave scars, and we do not accept the justification that your character's caregivers refused to heal them. Please adjust your appearance description to be appropriate.
- Your character's first instance of magic needs to be more detailed, explaining what emotions resulted in magic that is both unintentional and accidental.
- You need to include your Parselmouth application and statistics in this post and your encyclopedia page.
- Please make the title of your encyclopedia readable.

- The place of residence should be listed as 'New York City, United States'
- You state you are a Pure-blood with Half-blood family members. This is inconsistent. Please either note your blood status as 'Wizard-born', meaning your parents are both wizards with mixed muggle and magical heritage and culture, or alter your biography to remove reference to No-Maj culture or change blood status to be consistent (Muggle-born or Half-blood). Note that Wizard-borns are rarer in American culture than in the UK, due to historical segregation between wizards and No-Majs.
- You still make reference to life "before Hogwarts" - please alter this to Ilvermorny.
- I still cannot accept your explanation for your scars. Please see Lear's note in his acceptance owl:- Nationality is determined by your character's place of birth. If his mother is Filipina but Enki was born in America, he would be American. Please either alter his nationality to match his birthplace, or alter your biography so that he was born in the Philippines, explaining why and when he moved to America.Scars are rare in magical families due to healing spells. If your character is from a magical household, their scars need to be explained. We will not accept that your abusive/neglectful parent(s) failed to provide healing to "teach you a lesson" or because you "wanted to keep it."
- Please remove your human stat point distribution and only provide your Parselmouth build. Please make the same change to your encyclopedia.
- The Chamber of Secrets does not exist in Ilvermorny, so please remove the mention of it!
Edits made! I do apologize for some of the things though, as I see I have been a bit unclear with some parts. I also apologize for this following, but due to my lack of time with activities and events this week and the next, if this is still pending further on, I won't be making any major changes to Enki's ency until having a confirmed history and that. By the time this is read(most likely), the stats will have been changed though, as I have enough time at this moment to do that.
STATUS: Pending, Arkady, 13/05/26
- Looks good! Please make sure you have made all the necessary changes to your ency as well, by updating your biography there.
