Pericles' mother, Cenedril Saltgrave, comes from a long line of Purebloods. She left home as soon as she graduated from Hogwarts at 18. She never shared anything about her family with Peri as a means to protect him (a development I'm looking to explore soon). This is because:

• Her father (Peri's maternal grandfather) was something of a wizard "mad scientist"
• he experimented with crafting new potions, often utilizing illegal components
• his wife (Peri's maternal grandmother) died as a result of one of his experiments, though she drank it willingly, leading to a highly convoluted legal case. ironically, it was an attempt at a longevity potion that failed spectacularly
• strenuous investigations eventually unearthed the truth, resulting in his arrest and consequential incarceration into Azkaban, as well as the dismantling of an illegal components trade, leaving the Saltgrave reputation in ruins
• he remarried shortly after his wife's death. since Cenedril had nothing to do with her family's sordid affairs and emancipated herself from them completely, the Saltgrave estate was left to her stepmother

Intention: learning about all of this will be a means for Peri to decide he doesn't want to risk going down the same path. it will contribute to him letting go of the impossible dream of curing vampirism. he won't have any "criminal connections" and won't establish any kind of relationship with his crazy grandpa

On June 20, 2012, Atlas, the child of Jannette Notresvace and Charlie Anderson, was born in Cardiff, Wales, where his family had lived for several years after their marriage. The mother, Jannette, was descended from Oddette, the matriarch of the Notresvace line, through a Pure-blood woman named Marie. Oddette, the matriarch, poisoned those who wed outside of the family bloodline over the years in an effort to maintain pure bloodlines, but despite her efforts, an infant was born (Jannette) whose father was from a muggle blood-status. Marie gained understanding of magic, but she was ignorant of her family's history.

In the end, she left Hogwarts, fell in love with a muggle, and gave birth to Jeannette. However, when the Matriarch found out Marie (mother of Jannette) was expecting a child whose father was not of the purest blood, she attempted to kidnap Marie in an effort to kill her.But the house elves saved her and took her to a muggle orphanage. Jannette was a half-blood squib at birth. In the end, Jeannette's father left without saying goodbye, leaving Marie to raise Jeannette by herself. Since Janette was born a squib and never developed magic, she lived her entire life in the muggle world without ever knowing the origins of her bloodline. Later on, when Jannette was attending university, she fell in love and fell pregnant, and Monica was born nine months later.

Jannette, who was unable to care for a child, gave Monica up for adoption since she wanted the best for her child. The people that adopted Monica were Evans family. Her name is Monica Evans.

Despite feeling guilty about having to give her child up for adoption, Jannette continued to graduate from a university and pursue her career as a medical scientist. As a result of what had happened, she had lost hope for a while and had given up on finding love as well. She did, however, meet a waiter called Charlie Anderson later in life. Two years older than Jannette, Charlie Anderson originally struck up a friendship with her until the two of them fell in love five months later. Charlie was a pure muggle who had no connection to the wizarding community. Five more months later, the couple made the decision to deepen their love and relationship then got married, and Jannette became pregnant. The baby was given the name Atlas, with the middle name Jasper and the last name Anderson. Jannette was dubious about whether she would care for Atlas; she felt guilty for leaving Monica for adoption and feared that Atlas would experience the same fate. But once Atlas was born on June 20, 2012, Jannette began to comprehend what it's like to be a mother. Back then she did not understand. Her husband Charlie offered her support as well.

When Atlas was five years old, her grandmother moved in with Charlie and Jannette Anderson. Occasionally, though, the grandmother would use her magical abilities to convince Atlas that magic was real. Atlas occasionally told her mother what her grandmother had shown her, but his mother was reticent to believe that such things (magic) existed.

When Atlas turned six, her grandmother called the Anderson family together and began outlining the family's history and what had transpired. Atlas' father learned that his wife had a second child who was older than Atlas. Although they didn't tell Atlas. The couple's marriage was not affected by this, but they truly wanted to track her out and this time, adopt her as their own. It was necessary to inform Charlie, Atlas's father, that his wife hailed from a magical family and that, even though she was a squib, there was a chance their son might be magical. But this was to remain a family secret.

When Atlas was eight years old, he attended his first day of school at a muggle school. He was known for his mischievous pranks despite that—his teachers praised him as a kind child who they cherished.. When Atlas was placed in the care of his parents and grandmother, his grandmother, Marie said that they were to watch and see if he would in fact have his First Instance of Magic; if he did not, this would indicate that the boy had no connection to the wizarding community. The situation changed when he became 10 years old.

When Atlas became 11 years old, his father had left the restaurant industry and had begun working as an electrical technician for large corporations. After returning from his daily tiresome job, his father came home to find a letter in front of the door. He then went to talk to his wife, Jannette, about the whole magical situation and decided it was best not to prevent Atlas from connecting with the wizarding world. They then informed his grandmother that he would be enrolling at Hogwarts.

3) There is a misrepresentation of Blindvision in your encyclopedia. Blindvision is not a superpower, it is not literally seeing with your eyes covered. I know it was approved like that in your ability application, but that is wrong. Blindvision is not seeing in the dark as in seeing with your eyes, but rather being able to rely on other senses better than other people and therefore navigate in the darkness better than others.
4) Reminder- I see you RPed buying a pygmy puff and also have it in your ency, but as you didn't buy it with our pet system, you cannot have Piper bring it to Hogwarts. It would be staying at home.
