ReducioI would like to run a collaborative story with another player, (@Beatrice Langstreth) incorporating some of their already approved plot, see here . This will then go on to be some good backdrop/narrative reasoning as to why Avery gets a new wand in 3rd year (I plan to take Wandmaker) via inheritence.
In summary, Avery's dad (Willard) mysteriously dies. His wife, and Avery's mother, Cadence is behind such; having used a potion/poison to get rid of her husband for her own purposes through Avery. Avery would be the one to unknowingly give his father the poison via a glass of wine or some such drink, which contains the potion/poison. The closest one I can think of doing the job is probably Blood Root Poison.
Cadence obtains this poison via the Langstreth family and a bargain. Cadence would help them with seeing to it that the Scottish property be restored to Penelope Langstreths name (Beatrice Langstreths mother) after it was unrightfully given to her sister after her mothers death. Link above. - She uses her political gratvitas to pull some strings at the ministry/with friends/people who owe her favours, to do so and in return for a discrete illegal deal.
To avoid aftermath, Cadence would arrange that Willard receives post from some mystery origin containing a bottle. Which she would then later pin as the cause of his death, which she could easily claim came from an 'enemy' as he is a man bound to have many, absolving her of suspiscion. The trail would inevitably go cold.
I am open to leaving the thread/means of death vague or insinuated, so that no items and such are expressly used. If it is preferred it be an unnamed poison I can do that. If something else, I can do that, and I will happily work with index on a way we can make this/something similar to this work.

Boston is a muggle-born, so I will be explaining how Boston's mom and her aunt both grew up as muggles until her aunt got her letter. Boston's mom never did. Her aunt lives in London, which will be the actual reason they moved there. It makes for a better story. I am also including this for future plans I have.

Evangeline had a pretty normal and uneventful childhood much like the rest of her sisters, though she pursued politics and worked towards foreign diplomacy. She was known to be stubborn but very conscientious.
In between her studies, Eva took the time to travel. It was in Northern Ireland she met Davin Forgie at a restaurant. Davin was the manager and formally greeted Eva at the door, as he did with many of his customers. But the two of them particularly clicked and Eva developed a massive crush on Davin. They exchanged letters and took turns visiting each other in their respective countries.
By the mid-1970s, the pair married and Davin made the move to England where he opened his own restaurant. The business venture resulted in a stable income for their family and Eva was able to take a few years off from diplomacy work to raise Florence and Clarice.
Florence was the only magical child of the two sisters. During the summer of 1988, Florence and Clarice were arguing in their room when, out of annoyance, Florence threw a teddy bear from her bed at her sister. Mere seconds before the bear hit Clarice, it changed into a spider, which left her screaming and running out of the room. Confused, Florence sat on her bed contemplating the situation. Meanwhile, the spider returned to its original form seconds after Clarice fled. This left the family confused for a while until a Hogwarts professor came to their home upon Florence's eleventh birthday.
With the discovery of magic, Clarice expected the same to happen before she turned eleven and was envious of Florence's capabilities. The two were at odds with one another until Florence was 15 and Clarice was 13 when they reconciled their differences.
Florence was sorted into Ravenclaw during her time at Hogwarts. When she was in her fifth year, her cousin Morella joined the Hogwarts adventure also being sorted into Ravenclaw. During their time, they were close and the anticipation of another cousin (Michelle) having magical capabilities brought them closer. With Florence's mother being a Hayward, this does make Morella Rogers and Michelle Azrin her cousins. Therefore, her children (Alyssea and Anton) are first cousins once removed of Raizel Voltrouz, Mizkie Voltrouz, Astra Norrick, and Roderick Norrick. However, due to her job as a magical tutor and working around the world, her contact with Morella and Michelle was once in a blue moon. Now with their life having settled back in England and Alyssea attending Hogwarts, Florence felt it was finally time to mend her familial relationships.

Georgia remained in the workforce throughout Morella's childhood, and was notably under a lot of stress. She died from a stress induced heart attack when Morella was a teenager.
Morella herself was a bossy child, being the older sister. Bossy and argumentative, like her mother. Despite this, she and Matthew has a decent and close-ish relationship. She looked up to her two older cousins Florence and Clarice a great deal, especially Florence. In fact, her first instance of magic ended up helping her imitate Florence. While being her cousin's shadow when she was six (in 1990), her clothes transfigured into an exact replica of Florence's outfit. The wizard that came in the summer of 1995, when Morella was eleven, explained this as her First Instance of Magic.
Morella attended Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw from 1995-2002. Florence was in her fifth year at the time. The two became extremely close, and then when Michelle came to Hogwarts in 1999, during Morella's fifth year, these two became close as well.
Unfortunately, while Morella became close with her cousins, she and Matthew became more distant. Magic and all was a stretch for him. It hurt his brain. When Georgia died, they became marginally closer, but when Matthew met Christine Underwood, the squib who would later become his wife, their relationship fell to pieces again and they remain estranged. She eventually ventured into London and worked as a florist for a local flower shop and it was during her time there that she met a security guard named Mariuz Azrin but her feelings for him were late to bloom, having little to no experience about love. Once she realized her own feelings for him and finally reciprocated the love and loyalty Mariuz had given her for all these years, the two of them married and moved to Bicester, England where Mariuz lived to start their own family.
Years passed and Michelle was born and everything was peaceful and normal until that day. Mariuz got into an accident in their home and Edita rushed him to the hospital. That day was when Michelle's first instance of magic happened where she froze a glass of water when she panicked. Her friend, Ravi Voltrouz, a pureblood wizard that she met before was lucky enough to find her when he snuck out of their home to see her after hearing about the accident, helping her calm down and trying to explain what just happened. This was when Michelle found out Ravi was also magical. When Michelle's letter to Hogwarts arrived and magic was explained to them by a staff from the said school, they were shocked but slowly, they began to accept it despite magic being new to them. Ravi also helped out when it came to the world of magic but was stopped when his mother found out he was associating with a Muggleborn.
Michelle's time in Hogwarts was all new to her and if it wasn't for her cousins, Morella and Florence to help her, it would've been much harder as she was a Muggleborn with no experience in magic.
