Would like to add medical condition to character. When Astra enters an unfamiliar place (right now, the castle, in the past it has been hotels, friend's house, etc.) she suffers from anxiety about her new environment and that triggers sleepwalking symptoms (she is unaware of this). Because the castle is so big and the common room doors are not locked, I would like to mention the condition in an early RP, but after the first month she becomes more familiar with her environment and begins to feel at ease. This will be a condition she suffers from only during first year. She seeks treatment as soon as she discovers this is happening (around the middle of September.
- Your character is a half-blood and is quite involved in the magical world. A lot of illnesses and symptoms can be cured with magic via spells and potions. In this case, it would be the sleepwalking symptoms with specific healing potions. Anxiety should be fine as it is a worrisome feeling.STATUS: Pending - Maya, 15 Sept

He would then have three children: a set of twins named Alexandra and Nicole, and a boy named Mathew. After departure from his time as professor, Leonardo's life escalated quickly as he was deemed the potential perpetrator of (or at least a possible element of involvement in) his father's mysterious death. Of course he was totally innocent and had had neither hand nor a desire to be the cause of the demise, but his history of coldness towards his family and his poor relationship with his father leading up to the time of the man's death placed some reasonable doubt upon his intentions and potential motivations. This would be something that would follow him for at least two years after his exit from the school, and it would send his world into a tailspin in more than one regard.
Finding himself unable to find or hold a job both because of scrutiny and because of the efforts it took to maneuver himself around the circumstances of law and conduct, Leonardo very quickly deteriorated both mentally and physically into even more of a hermit than he had been before. Comfort began to come to him in the form of finding the bottoms of many bottles, and the hopeless and unemployed Seer (while displeased and indeed very unhappy with his circumstances) found himself strangely at peace with the idea of this perfect Sisyphean crash after so many efforts to resist the inevitable. Even now that he had finally been released from notable suspicions and had been permitted to walk away from the worst of accusations as a free man, the damage that was done tolled most dolorously indeed. Resignation was a beautiful creature at this point; where else was there to go now, anyways?

2022: Eviana Verity Udenisi
A daughter of a lineage dead in male heirs for over a century, her mother had refused to take her blood traitor father’s name in favor of keeping the famed family name of her own grandfather alive. It was a richly-branched Pureblood tree that had origins in Mother Italy since the late 900s in the founding of the city of Udine. Indeed, in history the Udinesi family had had connections with that of the Chiadovinis, though that had been generations ago according to both family’s tapestries.
Eviana first became aware of the Chiadovini situation through rumors, as it had become somewhat of a familial scandal within a few choice families that had kept greedy eyes upon the renowned Seer tree and were actively searching for ways to encourage their downfall or further scandal that would undermine their position. Inspired by this opportunity and unafraid of confronting the family tree now that both patriarch and inheriting son were absent from the immediate stage of Italy, the Udinisi matriarch and daughter spoke to widowed Guinevere [Leonardo's mother] about many matters pertaining to what was known of Ricardo’s death and most naturally of the condition of her son Leonardo and his relational status as an ‘available bachelor’ to be wed off for the benefit of the Chiadovini lineage and whomever was to be the fortunate Pureblood family to inherit him and the name in turn.
Well, this incident and heightening investigation into familial matters was not doing much to help the Chiadovini family’s cause now, was it? Their families were intertwined once, bearing an allegiance to one another that was centuries old by this time… certainly they could be twined once again, couldn’t they? There was much more benefit in joining a union once again as opposed to struggling on the individual families' own, was it not?
Leonardo would require convincing, though. He had historically refused to allow himself to be used as a pawn in the way of marriage thus far in exchange for avowing to maintain connection with the family in some way; in this way he had remained distanced yet bound by his blood to the lineage if they commanded him to heel at the side of the family.
But, as Eviana would discover firsthand, her job had already been made much simpler by the fact that the allegedly hard-minded and stubborn heir was already pliable and soft thanks to the actions and vices of his own hand prior to her approach and introduction. Perhaps he had once been a clever and sharp man, perhaps at one point in time he had been an intimidating and menacing figure to behold and to interface with… but now he was simply a sad-looking remnant of that former bearing. A fixer-upper to some, perhaps, but a fixer-upper was not what Eviana was looking for. On the contrary, an individual as broken in will and in judgement as this man was just what she could make use of most.
All the easier to entrap him, and to siphon from him the rest of remaining willpower to resist and the family fortune that would belong to him by right.
How better to do this, then, than to produce an heir?

November 2nd, 2022: Dante Leonardo Chiadovini
Macbeth, Leonardo’s faithful avian familiar, intercepted a letter that had come from the Chiadovini Demesne and delivered it to his master directly. After a few loving nips on the tips of his master’s ears and a few light screeches to force the man back into the waking world and out of the spirit-inspired darkness that had consumed him the night prior, the Chiadovini blearily collected as many of the scattered thoughts that were strewn through his mind and as many fragmented senses in his vicinity as he could before shooing the screech owl away and reading the letter that had been delivered him.
The contents of this small letter, sealed with the twin emblems of the Udinesi family and of the Chiadovini family (which should have been the first indication of something out of the ordinary to the usually insightful Seer), would cause the man’s complexion to pale to the truest form of ghost white as the paper fell from fingertips and fluttered to the ground.
The Chiadovini lineage would continue...

Hephaestus Ironwood, grew up travelling around the world with his mother, a Magizooligist by the name of Elizabeth Ironwood. His father, Corvus Wynn had originally worked with dragons, having much respect for the creatures, however he later died when his son was eight due to injuries that he had got whilst working with them.
Both the Wynn family, and the Ironwood family originated from Wales, having spent generations there, and the latter of which, having wrapped up a large fortune through their involvement in the developments of magical medicine and how it tied to herbology and magical creatures.
What lay unknown to Hephaestus for so long was that his late father, Corvus Wynn, hadn’t always been faithful to his mother Elizabeth Ironwood - something that the woman kept from her son in order to not change Hephaestus’ ideology of his father (he had been a good dad but a bad husband) - a factor that led to the later discovery of Hephaestus’ half-siblings, specifically, Carys Morgan (Nee Davies).
In her youth, Adele Davies had managed to win over the heart of a married man by the name of Corvus Wynn.
In her stupidity she had expected that her love for him would be enough to convince him to stay with her and their daughter, but that was not the case. Despite him claiming to be ready to start a new life with her, she found out too late that if a man was unfaithful once, it was likely for him to do the same thing again and all too suddenly she found herself raising their daughter alone; though, not before she leeched him of every penny he owed in child-support.
Carys grew up in Wales with her mother Adele, never learning anything of her father until much later on in life.
Adele came from a long line of pure-bloods, dating back centuries, so you could imagine her shock when her only daughter brought home a muggle-born wizard with the all too enthusiastic intentions of marrying the man. Of course, the thought of losing her only remaining family was enough for her to, albeit very reluctantly, accept the match (and eventually get over a good amount of the blood-purist beliefs that she had been raised with) especially after the failings of her own love life with Carys father. Later, Dai Morgan was born, and upon starting Hogwarts developed a rather strained relationship with her cousin Qrowley Beithir, the two being much too similar and even seen to be two different sides of the same coin.

Reason for Reapplication: Backstory changes, original was rather incoherent and had unnecessary parts. There are also parts of the original which seemed to have been lost (such as first instance of magic). New version has fixed grammar, less unnecessary details. Omitted gender and self identity discovery, that stuff would fit into my characters first year. Took out the emphasis on individuals such as Grindelwald and dark wizards. Took out Azkaban to make the family alignments more vague.

and Jays biological mother (Chiyoko) was a sickly frail woman that suffered from a magic related sickness, her health immensely deteriorated after giving birth. She married a pureblood man who wasn’t exactly the best father figure or even a good husband, however, Jays mother was not in a good state of mind to be making big decisions. Without much rational thought, she ran away with Jay and ended up lost in the small forest. Jays future adoptive father, Joseph Victoria, was the person that showed up in attempts of rescuing them. Joseph and Jays biological mother were once close many years prior, hence their familiarity.
From Jays perspective, the two men arguing were her biological father and Joseph. Joseph eventually won custody.
Background information in regards to Joseph Victoria, Jays adoptive father, explains more details about the events that led up to Jays birth:
Joseph grew up in the Victoria manor located in London, England. He graduated from Hogwarts as a Slytherin and immediately continued the family business rather than pursuing further education for a proper career. At Hogwarts he was always considered a flirtatious type, he was also known for getting banned from the duelist team in his fifth year. Despite being betrothed to Angelique LeBlanc who was attending Beauxbaton, Joseph tried to date others which included an older Hufflepuff named Chiyoko Nakamura. After Hogwarts the two broke up due to Chiyoko moving away to Japan on a ‘self discovery’ adventure, she ended up marrying another pureblood man and had a child. Bitter and heartbroken, Joseph reluctantly allowed Angelique to enter his life.
After a few years from parting with Chiyoko, he received a concerning letter from her. In a panic, he traveled to her town and found her in a sickly state holding her child. Unfortunately, she was far too sick and passed away during the encounter. Joseph saved the child and found the father, the two men had a lot of heated arguments over the child for a while.
Once Joseph went back home to continue a unfinished job, he was sent to Azkaban for a year under the suspicion of murdering Jeffery Gray, employee at the Ministry of Magic and elder brother of @Lily Gray. Joseph was released when a breakthrough in the case realized he was not the killer. He had to expand the family business to more mundane matters such as transporting basic goods after his brother, James, left the family. He felt somewhat uneasy after getting out of Azkaban and felt like he needed to do something without gaining attention.
Joseph eventually went back for the child to gain custody, he brought back home Jane Victoria (now known as Jay) and tried his best to raise them.

In the heart of a small forest nearby a peaceful town, raindrops and wind created a soothing symphony among the leaves as a woman leaned against a tree. Sickly and frail, the dying mother hummed a tune as she cradled her child. A man holding an umbrella almost stumbled upon the muddy ground as he urgently ran towards her. Their gaze met, the panic in his eyes instantly dissolving into the love that once was. He embraced her frail figure and the toddler in silence, and the wind became stronger. The wind was now a banshees wail, foretelling the fate she would meet.
“Ichiko...” the mother tenderly whispered with her last breath.
The mysterious man wept as the quiet and innocent toddler laid sheltered in his warm arms. This would be the end of a story and a new beginning for himself and the child.

The earliest memory Jane had was seeing two men argue at a distance, she sat on a chair swinging her legs. The two men were quite distinguishable, one of them was a foreigner speaking with a funny accent despite his angry expressions. Her memory after that was hazy...

Jane spent most of her childhood at an orphanage until the age of 7 in which she transfered to foster homes. For the longest time she wondered where she came from, Jane couldn’t help but to feel different. Even her name was different for it was the only foreign name amongst the others.
In less than a year later, a mysterious yet familiar man with an umbrella suddenly appeared in her bedroom. The entire ordeal was rather chaotic for the 7 year old to understand, another person burst through the door and the umbrella opened in attempts to protect her. It was then when Jane had finally realized that these two individuals were the same from that hazy memory a long time ago.
The two men broke out into a fight, it was rather mystical to witness for they used wands like as if they were wizards from fairy tales. The child realized the danger of the situation and in a panic she attempted to jump out of the window. In a swift motion, the umbrella man got a hold of Jane and did something extremely dangerous in which she would only comprehend years later. Before she knew it, Jane could feel herself become twisted until everything became blank.
As soon as her feet touched the floor, Jane found herself throwing up on a unfamiliar wooden surface. The umbrella man introduced himself to her and awkwardly attempted to comfort Jane in her state of confusion.
Jane was quick to learn about the wizarding world but was rather much more curious about the strange history behind her new guardian, Sir Victoria, and the other mysterious man whom Sir refused to elaborate about. Eager to understand english, Jane began to read a lot of books that laid around the manor. The entire Victoria family itself was extremely strange, a lot of members had apparently been criminals and others died in quite idiotic and questionable ways. In addition to having the awkward Sir Victoria as a father figure and books about the strange family history, there was a woman whom Jane would address as Lady Angelique. She was a frequent visitor who had a strong French accent, Jane liked her merely because she’d occasionally spoil her with clothing and teach her how to write.
Unfortunately, Jane was heavily burdened with a lot of strong beliefs. Being merely a child without much outside views, she had no choice but to follow the pure blood supremacist beliefs that ran in the Victoria family.
The life at Victoria Manor was rather lonely for the child, they did not have staff nor did Jane ever get any sort of babysitters. Her guardian always seemed to run off doing work and Lady Angelique tried to keep Jane quiet with presents.
In frustration, Jane set off to a secluded section of the manor full of books and threw a tantrum which resulted in accidentally setting a stack of books aflame. Lady Angelique was incredibly furious whilst Sir Victoria displayed excitement and joy at the new wizard addition to the family. Although Jane was looking forward to learning wizardry, she was bombarded by even more lectures about the well known schools such as Hogwarts.
Upon receiving a letter to Hogwarts, the path that this troubled child would create was unmistakably going to be full of chaos.

The child was born in the hands of a dying mother in the woods... Somewhere in Japan. Just as the child was born the mother said something... Something of the name ‘Ichiko’. Was it the child’s name? Was it the family name? Was it the fathers name? It is unknown. But soon enough someone stood in the distance watching, and perhaps waiting for the mother to die. The newborn was quiet. Very quiet. The baby layed on the mud staring at the face of its mother. The child was too young to understand what the look on the mothers face meant. The person in the distance knew. It was rainy and cold. The person was far. Yet the person could still see the life slip away from the mothers eyes. The person waited for another minute. And the person walked towards the baby and picked it up to bring it to shelter...

Soon enough people seemed to start calling the child that name ever since the child arrived at the orphanage. Jane got used to it for a while... Until she turned six. Jane had started to feel different, the child had already been different from the other kids at the orphanage in some odd ways... But this time it was actually something else. A feeling of confusion. A feeling of gender. What am I? Who am I? Do I belong in the girls bathroom? Or the boys bathroom? These were the thoughts of a six year old orphan. Not so long after those first thoughts Jane made everyone call them ‘Jay’. Jane liked the name.
“Jay...”
On a normal day at the orphanage Jay had turned seven but there was nothing different. No celebration. It was like any other day. Or was it? Jay had no idea of what was to happen that day. A day that changed
their life forever. It was a chaotic event. It happened while Jay was doing the usual routine of crying in one corner of the room thinking about life. It was honestly sad that it was considered an everyday thing for them. An English man burst into the bedroom with and umbrella pointed at another english man with a wand in his hand— at this time Jay had no idea what hat the thing in his hand was a wand. The man with the umbrella stabbed at the other man but all of a sudden the man disappeared. Just as Jay was going to jump out of the bedroom window the umbrella man grabbed them and just... Turned into a twirl and appeared somewhere else. On this day Jay experienced something called apparation.
Jay managed to learn English and something called ‘Wizardry’. It was a very fantastic and new thing for Jay but they learned what it was. The man that had appeared into their orphanage room was named Sir Victoria. A wizard who had gone to Askaban twice and escaped once. Sir Victoria didn’t have much of a family, he had a few cousins who were manybe in Azkaban or on the run but other than that everyone else was dead. But he did have close friends who he considered family, a lady named Angelique Leblanc. Jay mostly learned from her. Jay learned to hate muggles. Jay also learned to like dark wizards. Jay even learned the history of all these dark wizards. At the age of eleven Jay had gotten a acceptance letter from Hogwarts and ever since then Jay was even more pushed to learn about someone named Salazar Slytherin and whatnot.
This letter changed their life. Did it make it better or worse? The answer depends...
