the nine galleons is what is given in the beginning to buy the school supplies, so it appears she has not been collecting her daily allowance. I will send her an owl, to explain, and I'll include you in it.

Its highly unlikely they have 9 galleons. From what I see, it's the total wealth. The school supplies required costed about 7 galleons and a few sickles. So, that's your total weath, right there.

They'll need to collect some more scholarships or have money donated, but its easier to get scholarships

and you do have to have enough money, as in Aurora's friend, it appears that she only has the money she was given for the school supplies, and maybe a few days more

You need to do 3 things to get a pet:

1. Have the money. The actual galleons, not your total wealth. Your total wealth is your net worth. Like owning a home and a car and having 100$ in the bank. Your net worth (total wealth) is not 100$, it would include your assets. What you have on hand, that is what you have to spend. The user will need to have enough to buy the pet. We will not let you buy one on credit.

2. Write the RP. We have a word minimum that must be met.

3. Owl your head of house. We are on daily, most requests are done within a few hours to a few days if we are busy. I give users the general rule of 2 weeks -- so if you have not heard back from your head of house in 2 weeks, then please reach out to me. I do most requests the same day but I have a lot of other responsibilities so I will be very upset if you did not feel like waiting so went right to me.

If you did not write a RP or you did not have the money on hand, you will need to meet the requirements and then reach out to your Head of House AGAIN. They also have a lot of stuff to do and will not be actively looking for your requirements.
