FAQ — Questions
This is really a matter of if you have rped him in a way that leaves the question open. If you have made clear in rp that he is not autistic, then no, otherwise feel free to register with itEli Jonson wrote: 28 Nov 2022, 04:35 I was just wondering, is it too late to change my character description a bit? I was planning on making Eli autistic and have mild ocd but I didn’t really know if I should actually write it or not.
Edit: I also want to make it known that I do not plan on joking around with this as well. I have fully researched the topic and if anyone would like an explanation on why I wish to do this action feel free to owl me and I will explain my thought process and why I wish to carry on this action. If I have also offended anyone please let me know. I do not want any misunderstanding.

Hello.
I realised that while on a computer, you can click on coats of arm to go to different houses and by clicking the ‘H’ can go to the entrance hall. However, I cannot do so on a mobile device.

FAQ — Questions
Ah I see. Thank you. I have left it open in my rps that he could be autistic and have even hinted a couple of things as well. Especially in his bio. My original plan was to make him autistic but not diagnosed yet and I believe that I should have put it in the bio to begin with. So thank you.Opeila Winters wrote: 28 Nov 2022, 05:37This is really a matter of if you have rped him in a way that leaves the question open. Here’s an example of a certain instance from a rp I have just made:
Reducio
“Eli hummed a soft tune, tapping his foot to the rhythm. Music would always help Eli focus, even when he was doing something completely different and needing to direct his full attention to the activity. It seemed like just doing this simple thing, that would probably distract other students, would help help Eli be a better student. Sometimes however, Eli wondered if he distracted any of the kids in his classes by doing such things as tapping his foot, or playing with his quill. Or even humming. He never seemed to be able to help it though…he just…couldn’t stay still.”

I have not read your thread but I strongly advise that you make an encyclopedia page and register for the index to make sure that this is all officially approved.Eli Jonson wrote: 28 Nov 2022, 11:41Ah I see. Ok thank you. I was just making sure there was enough evidence and such so I don’t look silly. I want to make sure there is a correct understanding. If you could give me some tips on how to do so through owl or anything I would appreciate it. FAQ — Questions
When you register, index will review your Encyclopedia. If you list a condition, you will be asked to keep it consistent and to not add or subtract it at will. That's the point behind the approving that people are talking about. It is merely a check that your character is this way, and conflict only arrives if you are actively misrepresenting it/ suddenly have new diagnosis that weren't there before/ drop the diagnosis when it's inconvenient. This is in place mostly for people who like to collect disorders like Halloween candy/ people of little experience who clearly do not understand what they are getting into, and if you expect to portray it faithfully you really have nothing to worry about.
Edit: also, I was the one who approve Shiawase and many other students with disabilities. If you work with/ talk to the person who is registering you, they should be open to discussing options with how to portray them in this setting. Usually this is done with genetic diseases that are a part of the pertains natural state (as Lear alluded to) or magic gone wrong. What matters is that it makes sense and fits our pg13 rating.

Thank you. I really do appreciate that. And yes I do plan on portraying and representing this correctly. I am just trying to figure out how I’m gonna go about explaining this in my character’s bio. (Once I get permission of course to change it.) unless I can just change it now but I don’t think that’s the case.Flash Holmwood wrote: 28 Nov 2022, 12:21 When you register, index will review your Encyclopedia.
