Classic, but really humourous.
Bronte Sisters
I haven’t read Anne Bronte yet, but Charlotte and Emily’s works are really good.

If IC, why would you like to join? Nancy loves wandering the fields and hills around by her house, but she also loves curling up with a book. Fantasy, adventure, fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi, and historical. She loves wandering through the tall bookcases of the library and finding new places and ideas on the shelves.
Book suggestions! Any of the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett (especially Hogfather), The Wizard of Oz books by L. Frank Baum (there are 14 of them), Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (great with hot chocolate on a stormy day), and The 13 1/2 lives of Captain Bluebear by Walter Moers (long read, but great illustrations and a fantastic world setting).
