That was a wonderful start to the game, a sentence said with so much irony. How could this have happened? Irina flew into the air and started boldly searching for the snitch, only to find nothing. That ball of gold was elusive and nowhere to be seen. Her mind distracted from this frantic search, Irina fell victim to Jamie’s blatch, falling clean off her broom. She was caught at the last moment by one of her underclassmen and was speedily back on her broom. “Спасибо Иля.” Thanks Ilya. With a small amount of confidence returning to her, she saw another boy, from her team, fall down. No one else could save him, because Ilya had to save her. It hurt, seeing that, and she flinched. She was the reason he fell, and she would apologize to him later. But now, she had a game to play.

Alicia was playing as a keeper on the team and when the other team had got distracted she swooped in and grabbed the Quaffle, scoring it and earning her team fifty points. She bobbed on her broom, a smile on her face as she waited for her next chance, another chance to score.

Do her best? Don't be stressed? Who the actual fuck did this guy (@Tone Bakugo) think he was. Of course Jamie was going to be doing her best, there was no room for anything less than that. Did he not remember the absolute bloodbath the two of them had orchestrated last year? When they managed to knock not one but three Durmstrang players off their brooms with one bludger?? It took a monumental effort on her part to not just send her dirtiest look his way, she knew the sappiness wasn't meant maliciously but god he wasn't making her day much better with it.

Luckily as they got into the air a few of her problems seemed to wash away with wind. There was nothing quite like the rush of being high up in the air, especially now that the wind was helping to cool her body down ever so slightly. She was going to play well, and she was going to win.

At least that was her game plan until the other team's seeker (@Irina Liliya Zvereva) stupidly turned her full attention to finding the snitch, everybody knew that you kept your attention on multiple things at once. She truly was making it too easy, and Jamie had some issues she needed to work through. What better way to work through your problems than through violence?

Jamie didn't hurt people on purpose, she despised unnecessary violence and condemned people who hurt others just for the fun of it. However this was Quidditch, a sport built around danger and violence, so when somebody leaves themselves wide open you take advantage of it, and this is exactly what she did.

Flying full speed into the seeker Jamie knew it would get her into trouble, however she didn't really care. She was a little disappointed to see the speed in which her target had been saved and returned to her broom, however she knew that it had meant that a player had been occupied with something other than actually playing the game.

Now it was time to get serious, maybe she could distract some players while on her penalty lap. She couldn't resist a good taunt though and as she made her way to her relaxing penalty she made sure to fly past her target, putting on her signature innocent smile and hoping her next sentence would rile her up, as a riled up opponent was an easy target.

"So sorry, didn't see you there! I'd recommend holding on with both hands like this -" making a show of gripping onto her broom tighter with both hands. "- to prevent you from falling again."

- In the role of Beater, if you hit an opponent with a bludger the bludger will then ricochet off that user and target a second opponent of choice at disadvantage (must be declared, if not declared the target will be random and can be an ally but not yourself). Ricochet damage is 75% of the original hit.

Shiori's original plan was to watch their opponents movements to see who they were looking to target — but that wasn't quite what had happened. After a few minutes, Shiori found that she really didn't care much for this team, their strategy bored her, Riri felt like there wasn't any point in watching them cause they weren't doing jackshit.

So Shiori turned her eyes back to her own team — as their savior, it was imperative that she kept track of who was on their brooms, and who was hurling to their death. And watching her senpai's go on the offensive was way better than spending her precious time looking at a team more boring than watching paint dry.

When Jamie and Tone senpai went for the heads of the other players, Shiori felt a unique sense of pride. Seeing their foreign friend @Alicia Matthews land a goal brought a smug smile to her face — Shiori just wished she knew enough english to congratulate her properly on such a well played goal.

But seeing how well her team was doing, Riri wasn't really worried about them loosing, she’s used to seeing her senpai's play. After all during her hiatus from the sport, she'd watch them from the spectator area. She had faith in them because she knew that they are strong. In Shiori's mind there's nothing to worry about — that was until from the corner of her eye Shiori saw a broom swoop past her toward the girl that Jamie senpai just pushed off her broom.

Shiori's eyes locked on the boy with curly hair as he perched his broom right in front of her. He looked like Ren @Azzure Solace. Even down to the same sickly pale skin tone, and pale eyes that Shiori struggled to tell if they were conscious or not. The comparison made Shiori gag, a foul expression on her face as she unapologetically stared at him.

Being the other teams savior was one thing— Shiori didn't think her senpai's would loose because of 1 savior, it was more Shiori's pride being damaged. To be face to face with someone who looks like the only person she trully envies... it pissed her off. She wondered if this boy in front of her even went through half the humiliation and trouble she had — she wondered if he was naturally gifted or if this was his last resort as well.

"Chōshi ni noruna yo, tada no rakkī daro. Konna no hitome tsumutteta tte yoyū de koerareru wa." "Don't get too comfortable, you just got lucky. I can do better than that with my eyes closed" Shiori quipped at the other savior, but as the words left her mouth, Riri realized this boy probably doesn't understand Japanese.

So with all the english she could muster, Shiori spoke in broken english

"Pretty boy, you... kyukyusha ambulance." Shiori spoke, scratching her head trying to find what the english word for savior is. But at this point she was in too deep to back down now. So Shiori exclaimed, "You, are rival!" Accentuated with a sharply pointed finger to his chest, and somewhere in her head, Shiori could hear her english professor yelling at her for not paying more attention in that class.

While watching the game, she had tried discouraging the other team's seeker, but unmotivated by sitting on the bench uselessly, her words did not reach anywhere byond her own ears, and the language barrier did nothing to help with that, she had said "No" a couple of times to try and convy the message, but that did nothing.

Getting bored of trying, she looked left and right looking for anything interesting besides the person falling, finding none she looked up beyond the players and perhaps beyond the sky and existence itself, slowly sliding off of the bench she's sitting on. She is not made for sitting still, she'd sooner climb mountains than sit on a chair watching some people throwing quaffles. To her, quidditch wasn't something to watch for entertainment, either she's up their handing free tickets to the hospital wing, or nothing. The only reason she didn't leave yet, is that her team is doing well, and she wasn't about to leave and let them win alone.

The clang rang through the pitch as the quaffed entered and distracted him momentarily, and probably everyone else, as he turned his attention to the other team’s ….keeper? Their keeper was scoring points?

Miles smiled. That only boosted his confidence in his own team. They could totally win this and the other team, despite being up in points, was probably feeling threatened and desperate to send their keeper for points.

Granted, everyone had their day but he was going to try to do his part to ensure this victory for his team.

Tone noted everyone on his team and resisted the urge to call out to everyone. Now was not the time, they all needed to focus on the match at the moment. He didn't want to interrupt anyone's concentration. There would be time for that after the match was over, once they had won because there was no other option, right? Tone noted Miharu looking somewhat off, having frozen for a time as if lost in thought before she snapped out of it, and a sigh escaped his lips. He'd have to go over and talk with her after the game. Right before he shot up into the air on his broom, a familiar face called out to him. @Zophyr Qethnis. Despite the fact that he was a benched beater, Tone was happy to see him. Part of him wanted Zophyr to come out and play with him but another part didn't want to see Jamie taken out. It was hard to decide who to cheer for amongst his team. If only they could all play together. He waved back at Zophyr when the other male called out to him. "Good to see you too, Zo!" Tone said with a smile. "Let's talk after and catch up on some things!" He told him.

The game finally began and it was chaotic right from the start. Tone headed over to protect Shiori but hadn't really needed to as the attack flew straight by her. He evaded Miles's attack too at the same time. Tone sent a bludger directly towards Stephen with his bat and it went hurtling towards his target. Eden did the same thing as Tone had done earlier, trying to intercept it. But unlike Tone, she wasn't able to divert its course and it hit Stephen, knocking him off his broom. Tone smiled as he cheered a little at his success. He couldn't remember the last time he'd actually managed to kick someone off their broom. What a success! What fun! But at the same time, he felt for Stephen. Tone knew exactly how it felt to get kicked off a broom. It was embarrassing but with a little magic healing, he'd be right as rain soon.

Jamie was able to kick Irina, the other team's seeker, off their broom but got caught doing so and had to go through a penalty lap. But at least that gave their team a chance now. Maybe they could find the snitch before the other side. Still, Ilya managed to save Irina and put her back on her broom. A shame. Oh well, at least she'd been out for a couple of minutes. During this time, @Alicia Matthews ended up scoring a ton of points for them! Tone smiled as he looked over at her. "Good job, Alicia! Keep up the good work!" He told her and turned his broom around, waiting to see what would happen next.
