Okay. It's a skit on youtube, just what is Jesus' resurrection was a hoax. it's pretty funny and makes a good point.Avery Gray wrote: 16 May 2025, 01:43I unfortunately don't. Avery Gray wrote: 16 May 2025, 01:36 Alright! The topic that we just discussed is called the Swoon Theory. This is quite a popular topic, and that's why it's important to understand what the topic is and how to respond! You all did amazing! (feel free to continue with the Swoon Theory if you have any more questions!)
Now, the next question:
How do we know that Jesus' disciples didn't sneak into the tomb and steal Jesus' body?
If that had happened , would Thomas have doubted? Would peter have even doubted himself and lie that he never knew Jesus? Would Mary have wept when she found him gone ? We all know this story as we are told it from a young age , it also Says that Mary ran to tell Peter and john what she had saw , which is also proof that they didn't steal it cause peter wouldn't have ran to the tomb to check himself , Thomas also wouldn't have doubted that it was Jesus , which is why Jesus had showed him the scars and wounds on him from the cross , and stab on his side , Thomas touched them and realized it was him . Peter had also answered to Jesus when he asked " do you love me?" , peter answers with " Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you " , which would some one say that if they stole his body?
That's all I have right now , I'm busy.

I heard that his injuries were way worse than specifically described in the Bible... like the serious torture and gore that absolutely no one would survive.Avery Gray wrote: 10 May 2025, 21:21 I'm going to kick things off with a question, so I can see where we all stand on this issue and Hikari and I can know what to teach you guys.
Question: How do we know that Jesus actually died on the cross? What if he actually fainted since that makes logical sense?
Note: I do not believe this, but this is what my apologetics teacher told me is a popular question.
Oop are we on a different topic now? I also wanted to add, Avery and Hikari, you guys are amazing for being so proactive about this!

Thanks! I know that this is a dangerous thing to do especially with how the world is, but it’s worth it if I can at least bring one person to Christ or help at least one person bring someone to Christ.Eonaria Kabukimono wrote: 16 May 2025, 22:30I heard that his injuries were way worse than specifically described in the Bible... like the serious torture and gore that absolutely no one would survive.Avery Gray wrote: 10 May 2025, 21:21 I'm going to kick things off with a question, so I can see where we all stand on this issue and Hikari and I can know what to teach you guys.

Hey guys! Graci and I decided that the best topic to do next is an interesting topic and something we believe is very beneficial. I would like to note that only CLUB MEMBERS can respond to this topic, so please don’t post in here if you’re not in this club. Everyone is welcome to sign up, so check out the Apologetics Club if you’re interested in learning how to defend your faith snd defend it well!
The question is this: how do you deal with something that is popular yet you know that it isn’t right. This basically means if a friend is gossiping or doing something you don’t want to do, how would you respond? Please keep to the basics and don’t go too deep. (Feel free to owl either me or Graci if you have any questions!) (I will post what i believe after a couple people post!) Note: we are NOT diving deep into this. If you want to dive deeper, feel free to owl me, and I’ll be happy to talk with you through whatever questions you have. This will also be a short topic, and will probably end in a couple days since Repentance is something everyone pretty much wants to cover. Also, this is NOT specifically about anything. This could be something like old teachings or something your friends do that you don’t think is right. Such as I had a friend once that tried to force me into doing arson, and even though I didn’t know what it was at the time, I refused because I had the feeling it was wrong.

I think it's really hard when many of your friends aren't followers of Christ. Anything from curse words to bad topics just gives me a nasty twinge in my stomach because I know I should say something but I don't know what to say or when to say it. thankfully, I do have a group of friends that aren't necessarily Christian but they don't use swear words or discuss certain topics, where we just talk about school stuff. I feel a bigger consequence is that it's possible to get suspended from school for speaking out against widely-accepted opinions, and then it's just... yikes, I don't wanna get suspended! (how deep is too deep?) I'm only really comfortable outright correcting my family...
For specifically gossip, I would probably either redirect the conversation to something else or say something like 'why is this our business'

So since no one’s posted on this topic in a while, I decided to start a new one. This topic has been highly requested by many members past and present, so I thought it would be a good one to do this time around. I don’t have any specific questions, but I would like to ask what you guys want to know and we can all work together to find out the answer. The topic is repentance.

It’s kinda been a long time but uhh-
I feel like the only thing holding you back from repentance is yourself. Your conviction, your shame, maybe you think how on earth is it possible for God to forgive me yet again but in the end, the Lord is always waiting for you with open arms. You just have to make that confessional prayer and have faith that He will forgive you. Isaiah 1:18 says “‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’” It can be hard to forgive yourself sometimes, but know that the all-knowing God will forgive you.
