Axyen listened, he was aware that technology and magic don't mix well. Axyen did want to know a bit more about what primary school was like, although algebra was a subject never touched at all. It completely overcame his curiosity about primary school, and he decided he wanted to know what algebra is, but by the sound of things, it seems like another way to do math. "Um, if you don't mind me asking, what is algebra?" Axyen asked Astra. "Well, I know it's math, but like," Axyen paused to think for a moment. "What is it exactly?" Axyen decided to ask, rewording the way he asked his question so it hopefully didn't sound too confusing.

Arnold stopped rolling around and looked at Astra then at Axyen. Axyen looked at Arnold and quickly stood up. "Arnold don't even-" Axyen was a bit too late however, because Arnold's long tongue swiftly went for Astra's face, Axyen was silenced and gave Arnold a firm look, though he couldn't exactly tell if it hit Astra or not. "Arnold, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that?" Axyen said, trying his best to sound disappointed(and failed, he sounded normal as always.)

(After the events above)

Axyen thought for a second as Astra said that she liked Charms, Astronomy, or Flying. Axyen could never find himself going on top of a broomstick and flying, he knew it would cause him to be sick, and that's assuming he doesn't fall off nearly instantly. Astra then asked Axyen his favorite subject. "Huh?" Axyen asked, getting caught off guard. "Oh, mine is Defense Against the Dark Arts, I find it fun." Axyen said. He loved mastering spells and dueling. Dueling... Axyen just then remembered that he was a duelist now, he signed up for the dueling team and got accepted. "It's also great for dueling, especially now that I am a duelist." Axyen said.

Astra's mood seemed to darken as Axyen asked about algebra. She had only done a little of it per her mum's request, just in case she didn't get her Hogwarts letter even after her FIOM. She go a taste of it in classes towards the end of her final primary year, being advanced in maths. "It's like regular maths but backwards and you have to figure out what it wants you to solve. So instead of the question being two plus five equals seven, it says two plus x equals seven. But then it gets more and more complicated and adds lots of rules." She probably didn't explain it the greatest, but that was okay, because she didn't really know how. It's not like she had ever taken a full algebra class.

Astra raised her eyebrow at Arnold as he stopped rolling and looked at Axyen with an air of defiance. "Arnold, don't even-" Axyen started but the Puff's tongue was in Astra's face before he could finish. She flinched back, the length of Arnold's tongue surprising her and held the Puff away from her. He seemed satisfied in his work and the noodle-like tongue retreated, Axyen scolding his pet. Astra laughed at the bizarre happening. "You're quite the trouble-maker, aren't you Arnold?" she asked after her laughter died down, starting to pet the Puff once again.

She looked up at Axyen again when he mentioned he was a duelist. "That's so cool..." she said. "You're such an interesting person, Axyen. I'm glad we could become friends." She flashed a bright smile at the boy, genuinely happy at the turn of events. And to think it started out with a stubbed toe!

The clock in the corner chimed. Astra looked up in surprise. "Oh, almost dinner time." She paused before asking, "Do you want to head down together?"

Axyen listened to Astra as she began to explain what algebra, and she seemed to really dislike the subject, but still explained what it was. "Wait, so letters are a part of math?" Axyen asked, slightly shocked. I have so many questions, I should probably look for them inside of a book. Axyen thought, it seemed that Astra didn't like the subject for being confusing, it completely had Axyen dumbfounded and with at least a hundred(100) more questions than before. Who even added letters to math? Axyen asked himself.

After Arnold didn't listen to Axyen, which Axyen had to lightly scold Arnold for, although it seemed impossible to truly be mad at the mischievous Pygmy Puff. Luckily Astra seemed to find the whole thing amusing as she laughed, and didn't make any comments on how Arnold's tongue looked creepy to her, which Axyen was thankful for. Arnold went back to rolling around the Study Room satisfied, while looking for something random to play with. It found a crumbled up paper ball and began pushing it around the room.

Axyen blushed slightly as Astra said that Axyen was an interesting person. "Thanks, you're pretty interesting as well." Axyen said. "I'm glad that we could be friends as well." Axyen added, and he truly meant it as well. Astra proceeded to say that it was nearly dinner time. "Already?" Axyen asked, looking at the clock, time seemed to fly. "Oh wow." Axyen muttered under his breath, amazed. Astra asked if Axyen wanted to head down to the Great Hall with her. "Sure!" Axyen said. Arnold was about to give Axyen a look, but Arnold didn't even get to let out a squeak before Axyen said "Yes Arnold, you may come with us, but..." Axyen paused for a second. "You need to behave." Axyen said. "I mean it, Arnold." Axyen added, making sure the Pygmy Puff could understand that it was important to Axyen that he be on his best behavior. Arnold went back to pushing the paper ball around(while he waited for Astra and Axyen to start heading to the Great Hall.)

"Whoever did it, I'd like to meet him and sock it to him," Astra grumbled in response to Axyen's question.

She watched as Arnold pushed the paper around the room, still laughing slightly. He's adorable, she thought, slowly getting up from the ground. Her toe didn't hurt any more thankfully, but she still made a mental note to always wear closed toed shoes when she could. I don't want to be breaking a toe at Hogwarts, even if it can be fixed with magic. That would be embarrassing and rather silly.

She looked happy that Axyen agreed to head down with her, and watched with amusement as Arnold voiced his desire to come with. Axyen instructed him to behave with stern eyes and a firm tone, but Arnold kept pushing around the paper. "I'm sure he'll be fine," she said with a wave of her hand.

Her fingers snapped as she remembered the pictures. "Hey, I'll go grab the pictures of Digon- I mean, the Short-Snout, his name's Digon. I'll meet you in the Great Hall, yeah?" she asked. She gave him a small salute as she left, practically running down the hallway as she went to get the pictures. Well, I've made friends with an older year. I've made several friends, plus I already had one. This year seems off to a good start. Completely different from Muggle school, thankfully.

She reached her dorm and grabbed the pictures of Digon tacked to the wall and slipped them into an open envelope before heading back up the stairs. A very good start indeed.
