Damage: 100 + 7 AP × 10 + 50 (Crit.)= 220
Effect: Knocks the target on the ground requiring to spend a full action to stand up and re-join the duel.
The round would be dominated by a single spell. Pea must have felt left out last round watching both the badgers casting it. Not to mention that flipendo was a powerhouse of a spell, even more so when duelists were limited in their magical knowledge.
And so the slug fest would begin. Hit each other as hard as possible and see if the other falls. All but Hui would work on a flipendo. AngelFyre and Pea's casts were fine, nothing Galton would remember after they'd flown across the stage. But Emma, Emma's was something else. If this is what she was working on with her last cast, the dedication seemed to have paid off. Or maybe she'd taken cues from AngelFyre's previous flipendo. She would show the duality of magic, textbook failure followed by textbook perfection.
AngelFyre's flipendo would land near enough to the vulnerable Hui. A observant roll at the last second as he stood would save him from the heavy magic. Pea would capitalize on AngelFyre's missing attention and nail the duelist with a solid hit.
Hui would get to his feet. Surrounded by bubbles, with his leg tapping along to an unheard beat disaster would await. Fate (or maybe it was the Badgers) aimed to keep him floor bound. Emma's beautifully terrifying flipendo would crash into him. The pain he'd found just moments ago would welcome him again, like an old friend. And so would the ground. Hui would be left where he'd started, looking a bit worse for wear.
Solid hits from both sides, the match heating the crowds interest to dangerous levels. Would Hui be able to make it to his feat before the duel claimed it's first victim?

Slytherin vs Hufflepuff: Match 9

Her fear was finally realized. Things had been going strong for the badgers, all things considered, but she had no sooner intoned her confident "Flipendo" at Ming than she felt the tickle of the sneeze rapidly approaching. Too rapidly, in fact, for AngelFyre to maintain control of her wand's precision. A wicked series of quick-fire sneezes erupted at just the most inopportune time, giving Ming time to evade another hit. Well, not everything could break in their favor. Where would the fun in that be? No, she and Emma still had a better than good shot here, but they would work hard for it. That suited AngelFyre just fine. Their victory in the end would just be that much sweeter.
The missed cast was only part of the bad news. Pea finally cast a spell that landed... on her intended target.... and AngelFyre found herself gasping for air after taking yet one more hit to her chest. She was going to be feeling the effects of this duel for a couple of days. It would only serve to remind her of the areas where she was weak and where she needed to concentrate her focus. There was always a silver lining to everything if you looked for it.
Along with the bad came some phenomenal good. While AngelFyre may have missed her target, Emma landed it, and did so in the most spectacular fashion. Oh how she wished she could have seen Ming flying backwards once again, but hearing it was quite satisfactory enough. When her eyes opened at the end of her sneezing fit, she not only saw Ming knocked down again, but she also felt the diabolical urge to sneeze had left her. Hallelujah!
She looked over at Emma and smiled widely while giving her a big thumbs up. It was wonderful to see her partner's eyes light up with confidence. Confidence was half the secret to standing up there and casting successfully, and Emma now had a taste of it.
AngelFyre got into position, looking across the piste at her opponents and reached for her badger pin as always, concentrating her focus. Look out, snakes. Hufflepuffs may be kind and loyal, but they should never be mistaken for pushovers.
The magic is real.

Slytherin vs Hufflepuff: Match 9

OOC note : All of Pea's word and action are all 100% for the purpose of her character- please don't take anything to heart. >.<
Pea manage to hit her opponent square in her chest this time, avenging her partner's constant hits. Pea smiled proudly at her own vengeance. AF was knocked back from her original position. "Eat that! Loser!" The white-haired says smugly.
It feels good to finally take all the anger she clutches on that spell. But a shot of a spell passes her, it was fast, almost too fast that she didn't even notice it. It was another spell aimed at her partner. Ming was just getting up when that spell hit him again. She swear she saw this in some kind of comedic movie or video on the muggle internet. It was amusing but- now it is getting sad. Ming got knocked down to the ground again, pushed down by the spell cast by their opponent Emma. Her arm is itching for a facepalm, but she still wants to defend the Slytherin honor. That boy really needs to work out more, she thought. And at this point, it is not looking good for him.
At the same time, a booming familiar laugh was heard from the watcher of the game. Her eyes immediately meet their origin. Hanako Tone. Anger took hold of her like it always did every time she sees the boy's face. It is almost like she wanted to aim her next spell at him instead of the Hufflepuffs. Pea glared at him, hoping her glare could physically hurt him.

Emma wasn't really happy when AngelFyre's sneezing fit meant her spell missed the intended target, knowing that her partner could have done a lot of damage if the spell had landed. Or at least that was what she chose to think as AngelFyre seemed to be very knowledgable about the whole duelling and casting spell thing.
She had to admit though she was very impressed when her spell landed so spectacularly. She couldn't help but look over at her partner who was smiling just as widely as Emma and giving her a thumbs up. Giggling, she looked to see what the duo across from them had thought. She was feeling on top of the world though the small niggle of worry existed in her brain that her cast had gone too well. But only time would tell.

Slytherin vs Hufflepuff: Match 9

For all the dark thought that came over the Asian boy who had spent a larger part of the duel doing nothing of consequence than actually casting, the situation must have been amusing to watch for everyone around.
Look at the quiet boy who thinks himself above everyone else. Repeatedly rendered helpless. By blindfold, or being knocked on off his feet. Repeatedly. Was he some newborn foal, that hadn't quite found his feet? Was he some delicate flower that he couldn't take a hit?
A part of him wanted to just stay down and keep casting -- he definitely would have had it been anywhere else. But duelling rules compelled him to return to his post. So biting back on his frustration, he Slytherin slowly got to his feet
The curtains fell. And the silence was deafening

This duel was shaping up to be an eventful display of magic. The Badgers would continue to prey on the wounded Snake, while his partner coiled, preparing to strike.
Hui would do his best to catch his breath - to refill his lungs with air that the previous Flipendo (and the one before that) had robbed him of. All the while the others would work on the next magical draft to wow the crowd.
Pea would be the first to dazzle and amaze. Fumos, a favorite of Galton's, would be her chosen poison. It's ability to shroud and confuse was a solid strategy when sight was everything. And Pea's was true art. This groups' ability to fling out picture perfect magic was staggering. Pea would coat the stage with perhaps the thickest batch of smoke the Fifth year had ever seen. It almost made him cry... though maybe that was due to all the smoke.
Before the smoke encompassed the duelists though, Hufflepuff would not be forgotten. Well, maybe AngelFyre would be. Nothing would come from the duelist's wand as they tried another trusty flipendo. It seemed that the perfection of some fed off the failure of others.
But then there was Emma. She had her own flipendo for Hui, and she would see to it that Hui knew that as well. There was seemingly little the Sytherin boy could do as yet another glob of magic shot towards him. With everything going on around him, it seems he would not find his footing in time.
Galton's hand would shoot up, and his voice would scream out "PAUSE! HUI MING IS DOWN!" With such an obscured piste, he would rush onto stage and help pull the boy from the thickest of the smoke before letting the medics take him off. Galton would thank his ability to maneuver in such obscured terrains, each second spent rescuing a downed duelist could add to recovery time.
One snake was down, yet one still hid, unscathed. Would the display of magical wonders continue? Galton was itching to see "RESUME!" He yelled as loud as possible.

Slytherin vs Hufflepuff: Match 9

OOC note : All of Pea's word and action are all 100% for the purpose of her character- please don't take anything to heart. >.<
Although the girl was laughing at her partner- this situation is still infuriating. Not only that her partner is completely useless other than becoming the Puff's punching bag. It was also the humiliation of getting beaten by Hufflepuffs, weak Hufflepuffs like those two foolish girls. Not only that, but she also gets to see the worse person to witness all of this, the boy midget himself, Hanako Tone. Well, then, she guessed this time it is time for her to disappear. She point her wand and whispered a soft "Fumos." Her favorite spell she likes to use so she doesn't have to see those Hufflepuff ugly faces. Smoke that is thick enough to choke someone looms from her wand. But right before the smoke covers her, Pea points her knuckle to a certain boy in the audience and raises her middle finger while slowly disappearing under the smoke.
But just right before the smoke smothered the place, one of the Puffs still manage to shoot another spell at her beaten-up partner. She already know that sooner or later, he would eventually collapse, and I guess it happens sooner than she anticipated. Pea roll her eyes as the game paused and several people carry Ming's unconscious body to the infirmary. "Alright uglies- now that he is out of the way, show me what you got!" The white-haired says, ready to face those gits.

Slytherin vs Hufflepuff: Match 9

Not a perfect round, at least from her own casting standpoint... as she, well... she failed to cast. Uggggggh Still, their goal was achieved with Emma's successful casting of Flipendo, and just like that, it was Sweet Dreams, Ming. Or she hoped it was anyway. AngelFyre never liked anyone to suffer, whether it be physical pain or emotional.
She could tell this was going to be a humiliation for him and that did grieve her heart. She loved to duel, but her identity and self-validation was not wrapped up in it to the point that a loss would mess with her psyche or her emotional well being. Maybe she had a read on Ming all wrong and he would awaken not utterly devastated. AngelFyre hoped so.
She smiled as Galton called a halt to the match and rushed to Ming. She liked his sense of care and consideration for the combatants, though she could only hear him and not see him thanks to Pea's Fumos. What a nuisance, but it was what it was. As they carried Ming quickly off the piste, AngelFyre contemplated whether visiting him in the Hospital Wing would be a welcome gesture or not.
Through the dense smoke, she called out to Emma. "One down, partner. One to go." She knew that would bug Pea, and she smiled even more widely. Simon was in the audience and though she could not see him in the moment, his presence encouraged her immensely. Rubbing her badger pin, she shut everything else out, even Simon, (which was a near impossible feat quite honestly) and focused on a hopefully winning little strategy she liked to think of as Badger's Badgering, Part 2. BOOYAH!
OOC: It was fun dueling with you, @Hui Ming!
The magic is real.

Emma almost cheered at knocking Ming down, but then she thought about it and the poor boy was probably not feeling too well, both physically or mentally so she refrained but she was exciting.
Though the cloud of smoke put a damper on things and she carefully coughed, turning her face into her robes for a moment. All she heard were voices, both Pea's and AngelFyre's. Though she much preferred AngelFyre's message. "Let's do this!" She said determinedly, ready to cast her next spell at the notice of the ref.

Emma Wynn vs Pea Elena Fowl
ReducioEmma Wynn cast Rictusempra at Pea Elena Fowl
Emma does not know Rictusempra (not in locked trunk)
A cornered snake made for a fierce enemy. Fangs would come out, aimed at the Badgers circling near.
Both Badgers would fire upon the lone snake. It made complete sense - give Pea no chance to catch her breath, push the advantage with everything they had. If only "everything" would include a cast from both of them. Emma would be unsuccessful in her casting of Rictusempra. It seems that AngelFyre had traded casting abilities with Emma for the round.
AngelFyre would get a sloppy looking Steleus cast and shot over at Pea. Her aim was decent, much better than the construction of the spell itself, but Pea would have no trouble moving from it's way. With the thick smoke covering the piste it was really no surprise the spell hadn't connected.
Through the smoke though, all would be able to glimpse Pea's cast. The flame of her Incendio must have been fueled with revenge for Hui. Whatever she had tapped into last cast had not run dry yet. But the effort spent casting had taken away from her aim. The flame was so bright it made it's trajectory easy to guess. Or so Galton thought. He wasn't sure what happened, but from the sounds of it, AngelFyre was now on fire.
The snake had struck back. Would the Badgers continue to circle, or had the snake convinced them otherwise.
