When Ash returned to the common area, the two girls were already looking at the schedule and discussing which event they should participate. "Hey, I'm back. Sorry that it took a while.", Ash walked towards them and quickly look through the list of activities. The first thing that sparked her interest was the BBQ event."Oh, they will have BBQ later? That's awesome! I'm definitely looking forward to trying out the BBQ there." This would be the first time to eat BBQ in a wizarding world, and she wondered if there would be any differences between wizarding BBQ and Muggle BBQ? There wouldn't be any harm to try it out, and taste for herself.

Then she continued to read the list, and it looked like there are quite a few game events that she never played it before. The "Twirl the Flagon" and the "Truth or Dare", she only watched how people played these games on the TV shows, but she honestly didn't like how sometimes people can use it as an opportunity to demand the person to do something they might not like. And she wouldn't like to put anyone in uncomfortable situations, either. Prank Wars? A hard no. The other girls didn't seem the type who would enjoy pranks. They both seemed too nice to be pranksters. Ash would not like to play these kinds of games, no matter how others would say. As for the other game events like the "Triathalon" event and the "Capture the Jolly Roger" must be some sort of sport games. But so far, the "Mutiny-Wolf" was the only game she liked the most, "Well, I kind of like the Mutiny-Wolf though, I often played this game with a few of my Muggle friends during holidays.", Ash said, then she spotted another interesting activity, "And Campfire stories seem like a very relaxing event, I might be interested in joining this event and listen to other people's stories. Oh, I did hear you two talking about a quidditch match. I only heard from my stepdad what the quidditch games could be like. It'll be cool if we can watch the match together.", she said with an exciting expression.

Suddenly, her stomach started to growl. Ash's face became very red like a tomato, and she quickly covered her stomach with her hands. She actually didn't eat much when she arrived to the Summer Camp. "Erhmm...I'm sorry, looks like I'm a bit hungry?", She said and awkwardly smiled at the two girls. This is SO embarrassing! Ash thought to herself.

Ellie tried to give Ash a reassuring look. “No need to apologize. We are both hungry as well. We’ve been munching on these snacks that were left for us.” She picked up one of the flat silver trays with biscuits and offered them to Ash. “I don’t know what to expect at the barbeque, but whatever they have I’m sure we will enjoy it.”

Ellie placed the tray back on the table and decided to take a seat since they will likely have a bit of a wait until it was time for the barbecue. She poured herself what looked like iced tea. “I think it’s a great idea that we watch some of the games together.”

She took a moment to try and remember everything Ash had mentioned. She frowned at herself for forgetting that Ash mentioned she was also interested in the Mutiny/Wolf game. “Wait! You want to play the Mutiny/Wolf game, too?” she exclaimed excitedly. “I am really looking forward to that. I believe they are setting up the individual tents to sign-up for the activities. You should definitely sign-up too! I haven’t played the game, but love mysteries so I’m thrilled.”

Ellie was so animated and happy. This first day of camp was going so well to start. She felt her anxiousness melt away as the day went on. Of course, she didn’t let herself stray too far into the excitement. “I completely forgot, I haven’t really unpacked. I am going to go settle in. We can meet back again in a bit to head over to the barbeque?” She wasn’t even sure if she was asking that as a question or saying it more so as a statement or suggestion. She took a napkin full of snacks and began heading to her room in the tent. She let out one last statement, “I’m really glad that we are tent mates!” she waved, smiled, and disappeared behind the curtain divider.
