Doo doo doo....?
Interacting with @Aurora Ranvier, @Jack Warren, and @Winnie Harper
Being victimized by @Gideon Athanatos
"I'm the broom racing captain," George said, more than happy to brag to earn the respect of students two years his junior. When Gideon called him super brave, anyone could see his chest swell with pride. He loved being called brave - as much as any badger enjoyed being ascribed the qualities of a lion. "It is a bit brutal, but it's good fun. They fix us all up at the end, at any rate, so it's not like anyone is going to die on the pitch. Quidditch is worse."
He was distracted by Matthias' shouting, smirking as he heard the indignant rage of the other boy at having his rash exposed to the world. "Your rashes are your business," he assured Matthias. @Meenauh Silmataurea got a more genuine smile in return - he never really spoke to the girl, considering they were in different houses and years, but he still had a positive impression of her for help given long long ago.
Listening to Matthias' alleged 'compliments' to Winnie's wardrobe, George looked up to the cool-haired girl, seeing if she would look his way before he shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes. Better to share his distaste non verbally, lest he upset his first impressions with Winnie. This Matthias guy wouldn't be getting off easy if he was not currently making out with the legend.
George trusted Gideon's warning about his eye-boogers blindly, reaching up to rub the gunk out of his eyes. "Argh!" Whatever it was on his face, it definitely hurt to get in your eyes. He shut his eyes tight, wiping his hands on his shirt as he tried to squint, but the pain was making his eyes water too much to see. He could only tell Jack had entered by the sound of his voice.
"Jack!" George said, smiling broadly as he wiped his eyes in his sleeve. He really was excited to see- er, hear, his best buddy in the tent. It was just a challenge to remain upbeat through the pain. The oblivious boy leaned over, rubbing his eyes with his shirt sleeve. "There's something in my eye..."

Doo doo doo....?

Interactions: @Jack Warren, @Winnie Harper
Time to ruin someone's summer since fate sound it humorous to mess with his. There were assets under the same roof that seemed sensible, albeit bothersome such as his sadist of a brother or his incensed elder cousin who rightfully blamed him for Vladimir's death. The unification of family made sense even if it was a cosmic joke. There were others that made no sense, such as Jack Warren, the crazed teen that beat him bloody because he had some sort of sick attachment for his girlfriend. Bullshit he saw her like he saw a sister. But whatever he needed to tell himself at the end of the day so he could look at himself in a mirror right.
Hell no.
It was going to be a real bad summer and he was cracked if he thought that it was going to be a bad time for Pride. He looked over at the gregarious entrance of a one Jack Warren, Hufflepuff brute. He had the brawn but little to no brains to back it up. He was mildly disappointed when his younger brother's interest was piqued by another, he did not know George Henry, broom racing captain. He was uninterested in the sport and considered the premise to be rather 'basic.'
"Hey Jack," Mathias would greet the Hufflepuff. They were not friends, they never would be. Winnie would probably have a deluded notion that they should be friends, her boyfriend and her 'brother'. She had a habit of surrounding herself with sickos, her chosen brother was no different. "Great to see you again," he lied blatantly but he smiled cordially and the words were not at all forced. No, the point was to erect a façade fitting of the charade that would take place over the summer and ultimately ruin the Hufflepuff.
He would look over at the image that Winnie had left in his sleeping area. He probably would not have said anything, perhaps the usual polite platitudes but there was an audience. So he broke away from Winnie to inspect the alien artifact left at his bedside. Obviously from Winnie, the red was a standout. So he would pluck the picture with surprising swiftness, a gasp and a smile he would bring attention to her gift. "Pictures?" He turned the album around to expose the cover.
It was a photo booklet containing pictures of the two of them together, there were plenty of school-wide events over the past year that they could be taken from. The year previous there was no images where they would have been rightfully in the same frame. Their first meeting at the end of the year, the Blossom Ball, the only images they would have involving the two of them back then would have been more comical than endearing. There were words in pink: 'MATTIE, I miss you! Love YOUR GIRLFRIEND, WINNIE.' How utterly endearing. "I... absolutely love it," he flipped through some of these pages. How brilliant. "And I of course love you," smooches and all that. He went in for a kiss on the cheek. The happier he was, the happier she was... the more miserable he would be.
He would break away from Winnie and approach Jack with a shit-eating grin that could be taken by anyone that did not truly understand their dynamic that he was just excited and proud. That he was showing off a thoughtful gift left for him by his loving girlfriend. So that is what he did, when he approached with the booklet almost taunting him. "Take a look, she did a great job," he would try to drape an arm over his shoulder as tense as it might be. "She is so ridiculously crafty isn't she?"
Here is the issue with 'living together', there was always a room full of not-so-like-minded witnesses. There was Winnie, his personal body guard. The person whose heart Jack would have to shatter if he laid a single testosterone-coated finger on him. That was just a part of his personal hell for this summer, dealing with the enemy he had made the year previous. There would be no bygones left here.

"Galton, you're not really staying here in this tent this summer are you?" Galton was a swell guy, there was no complaint about his soul or his intentions. Galton was the sort of fellow that you wanted to be friends with, but the was also the sort of guy who did not make the headline in the papers but would be named in an Obituary. "I mean, where is Hugh," he really could use a body guard and while he had not seen Lowe in several months, he could only assume that he had made monumental gains.
In truth Hess was rather uncomfortable. It was nice to see a friendly face in a sea of dreary others, of those he had become familiar with in Beauxbatons these past months. Of students and peers who never knew him, he was just 'some guy' left in the background, prone to blending in with a crowd. He was also racked with guilt over Galton's madness, when he became the 'Candy King.' The months he had spent in psychiatric and medical care at St. Mungos, he was treated for something that magic could not quickly or easily cure. There were times he wondered if Galton was ever cured or if he was always a little weird, just those quirks unnoticed.
He really did not know his family. He really did not want to change that. More than that, there were mechanisms in motion that would likely imperil his fellow Gryffindor. There was a nervous energy that left his foot tapping and his ringers rifling through his dark tresses.

Doo doo doo....?
"Jürgen! I really am staying here in this tent this summer!" Galton really was staying in this tent all summer. The question from his friend broke whatever daze had taken over Galton as person after person poured into the tent. Often in times of chaos it was easier to revert to a primary focus. Don't let anything else bother you. A tendency he'd been trying to break as he attempted to socialize in larger and larger groups. But there had been cookies offered to the tent, and that offer had sent him right back into his old ways.
The cookies gleamed in the plain, cluttered tent. Two pristine, sugary confections that called forward toward the teen known as Galton Lansdale. There was not a world in which he would deny himself the delights of a chocolate chip cookie. And there was certainly no universe in which he could pass by a white chip macadamia cookie. Nutty, buttery, lip-smacking sweetness complimented by creamy, smooth, white chocolate was a knockout combination. Slipping into such a deep mouthwatering daze had been easy when these two mean sweets had been presented.
So, when he had snapped out of his daydream-like state, all the things he needed to respond to had rushed into his mind. Along with an incredible impulse to eat, to consume. His mouth began to water at the prospect. But first, words - like a good teen would do. "I'm not sure where Hugh is." He added, with a shrug. His mind quickly switched tracks.
"And, I would call Meenauh my partner, not a girl-friend, we're way past that." Galton still had trouble recognizing romantic cues. The last time that he felt any romantic tingle he'd been in a candy frenzy, though not one he could remember. But the lack of lust made for rather low interest in romantic endeavors, and a subsequent lack of social awareness towards the hints. Or in this case, less a hint and more a statement. But why pursue others when you could pursue sweets?!
His hands stretched out. A drop of drool crest his lips, escaping his mouth and headed for his chin. Whoever the magical cook was, Jürgen's friend? She was a saint. Two perfect little cookies for one perfect little Galton. "... Can I?" He would ask the witch. But he would not wait for a reply to grasp at the cookies, taking hold of one in each hand and retracting them back to his face for inspection. Was too much butter used? Too much flower? Did they looked burned in any way?
No, they looked delectable. He'd stack the cookies onto one another and begin with a large bite. He tried to replicate a snake unhinging it's jaw in order to devour prey - he wanted as much cookie as fast as possible. There was a certain ferocity in the bite that suggested this went beyond just a sweet tooth. Total addiction.

The hard part was to catch everything on time. Not possible but worth trying. The arrival of the one and the only Jack Sparrow Warren did not add to it, but was only an unnecessary (although pleasant) distraction. Not directly interacting but watching after @Galton Lansdale, @Jürgen Hess, @George Henry, @Jack Warren and @Gideon Athanatos
The apparent handshake in between George and who was supposed to be Gideon resulted into a cry for help, actually the cry for Jack. But she was half-paying attention to that, so she couldn't quite understand whether there was something serious involved or not. Considering the party in the tent, George might have already been cursed and nothing else but black ink was slowly poisoning his blood. Or he might be already turning into a hag. There was a blasting infinity of possible outcomes for just tonight. Would it be fun? She supposed not. But yes, it would.
Galton was still speaking with his... ugh... friend? Particularly, it was funny how he explained their relationship. She not quite facepalmed but listened with eyes closed and shaking her head. But the end of it actually made her burst in laughter. Yeah, of course. They were way past that. And she went on watching the others. Actually, while she was trying to guess what had happened to George and how to help him (Aqua Eructo?), she missed the moment when Galton was hooked on the cookies. Of course...
It was just a second after when she realised who was offering them. It might have already been too late.
"Are you nuts, no one would allow a child to di-"
"Accio cookie" she opened her palm and hissed at the cookie that Galton was putting or probably already put into his mouth, trying to summon it out.
Trying to summon the cookie out of Galton's mouth. You are welcome to make it as nasty as possible.

The cookie was probably a trap. Good on Meenauh for saving Galton from the threat of diabetes and poor dentition, she lacked the power to protect him from these terrible fates. It would be like guiding a storm away from the shoreline. If she were to obtain the cookie, it would be scrutinized further than it would have been by the greedy Gryffindor.Interacts with: Nobody

It was a fair attempt, not particularly subtle. Galton might even feel the tug of his duelling partner's attempt to confiscate his cookie. Why his cookie in particular? There was an entire muggle crate, of semi-opaque 'plastic' as they call it filled to the brim with confectionary treats of similar caliber.Accio cookie (Meenauh)wisdom 7 + 15 (success)Evasion (Galton) 4 + 16 (successful evasion)

He would taste it, those very sweet, tender cookies that would give beneath the weight of his teeth that would grind and mash the chocolate laced treat. Vanilla, a touch of almond and of course chocolate and something indiscernible. It reminded him of coffee, expresso bean. It was a glorious concoction, Galton the Candy King was not known for his idle distain of one candy or another, he was an equal opportunist as long as it was not sugar-free.
Yet there would be a familiar sense that would come over him, over Galton that is once he consumed that first cookie. This terrible yearning, this tremendous hunger that would gnaw at him. Would implore him to satisfy his greatest and most profound vice - gluttony. He hungered as he had before with this voracious need to feed. He had confections en masse, a stop point of mere minutes considering the boy's haste and unfortunately well-trained form. The stout teen was fast, in part due to his duelling training as well as his routine cat shaving. It was no surprise he avoided Meenauh's magical grip and was able to devour that cookie in the first place.
However, Galton's gluttony was truly boundless. Cookies were barely a hurdle, and then what must he do? That was soon to be everyone in this tent's problem. But it was worse than before, before it was a blind madness. That madness was always there, lingering and festering in his soul. It was his great vice. Where some were prone to anger or avarice, he simply yearned to fill a bottomless pit with an intangible hunger even when he was stuffed full. This was deeper, worse. The impulse to bite and chew harder to deny. Pica some might call it, that want that if he had the impulse control he could deny. What others can refuse and hold him from obtaining but not coveting. That a mere side effect, a consequence of what she had done to him. The affliction she had endowed him with was simply put an addiction. An addiction to chocolate chip cookies. A terrible 'danger' that most would laugh at, this temporary satisfaction garnered by consumption of those cookies in particular. That pit that is momentarily filled, but shortly thereafter vacated. Then he would have to feed again.
A cyclical hell that Galton had perhaps never recovered from was not the problem of those in this tent. Marion would leave the cookies open on one of the bunkbed, near whoever is next to post (including Galton's own if he was next). She would back away and let the chaos happen.
Action: abandons the cookies on someone's bed.

George Henry was a paragon among people. A deity among dwarves. He was also a victim to a childish prank as the sting of hot pepper oil met his eyes. Tickles, no needled his nares. Eyes would naturally water, that is what they did but it only spread hurty juice. it would be to Gideon's disappointment that there was no distressed wail from the elder Hufflepuff. Stoic, no. Smiling, so much worse as he greeted his friend 'Jack.' Was this the Hufflepuff tent? A familiar, but not known face from the same house. Hufflepuff is often purported to be the friendship house, the loyal house, the side-kick house, the victim house.Interfaced with: @George Henry & @Jack Warren

"And I am Giddy," Gideon announced loudly to George's companion. "We should be friends," he added. Yes, the boy sounded like a cherub, his face still begot youth with rounded cheeks and a broad smile. He would pour a small phial of liquid on his hands, a few drops before he rubbed his hands together vigorously. A neat freak perhaps, it was not hand sanitizer even if the behavior resembled such. he would extend the tainted.
"I have brought my favorite stuffies," he added in an excitable tone as he gestured with his free hand toward his bed. His bed had the conventional bedding supplied by the school cast aside. His bed did look incredibly cozy and pleasant with large, plush comforters and oversized, numerous pillows. He was giving the princess and the pea a run for her money. There was a contingent of stuff animals of varied stuffy races piled haphazardly on his bed, a shark with a maw of teeth that appeared to be a hand puppet. There was also a spider plushy that might have resembled a distressed spider, a teddy bear that looks like it had been torn to shreds, a Canadian goose, a rather generic-appearing stuffed rabbit and finally a seven-foot-long stuffed two-headed snake. It was a veritable jungle of young Giddy's bed, where he would find space among his companions was anyone's guess still. "I should share one with you, they ill make sure nothing else gets you," he added. A truth admittedly, one that Jack and/or George might discover in a few hours as the boy offered the stuffed spider and snake to Jack and George respectively.
Meanwhile there was some nonsense with Galton and cookies. Cookies he was interested in also admittedly, had he not been distracted by his new besty (George). He looks moderately durable so he might survive most of summer even, mother would be so proud. There was a grumpy lady who was trying to steal his cookie and failing. Then there was the aftermath (which this writer cannot rightfully fathom) which he would ignore, failing to corelate the dangers of the cookies with the resultant action(s) of dear Galton, the Candy King.
Action: Gideon is ignoring the chaos that will be Galton,. He is continuing his murder mission for George and now Jack. Offering stuffies and a hand shake (yes, it is tainted).

Partner was a much more modern term for it certainly, he did not think Galton would bother with such semantics. Perhaps a lot has changed over these past several months. If there was something in those cookies, Hess was not in on it. He would not know, nor would be understand why Meenauh attempted to rip the cookie from Galton's maw with the Accio spell. He would reason that she was trying to help the Gryffindor maintain his boyish figure. However, Marion had been a perpetual victim of circumstance, the bullying she recounted at the hands of her overly aggressive housemates, classmates, and schoolmates made his blood boil. He was far from a 'good' person, having adapted some time ago to the duties of his family, his line and his priorities. He was truly morally grey.Interacts with: @Meenauh Silmataurea

"You can have one too, she brought a whole box of them," he announced as he approached the tupperware and if not prevented (eyeing you Galton) attempting to bring it to Meenauh. A peace offering for Galton's not-girlfriend, but rather 'partner' who was a bit out of Galton's league. He wanted a good summer. He, like most of them had a bit of baggage that needed to be sorted but it was his hope that with proof positive that Hogwarts was safe, he hoped. He was very very wrong, as he would soon learn.
Action: Offers Meenauh a cookie, maybe?

"You're heading the Hufflepuff racing team?" She was a bit surprised since George didn't seem like the athletic type, but who was she to judge? "That's cool! I'm on the Quidditch team myself. I love flying but I also love the game, so I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to just focus on racing."
"Mathias..." The use of his full name was a warning of sorts. A reminder to behave around her friends. Although admittedly Aurora had not offered the boy the same courtesy. Winnie's ire would only end up harming Matt's ears. "Technically that was a triple date..." The Irish girl pointed out, as if that were a solid excuse for what Aurora had done to the two of them. "His name is Nicholas. I think he's a Gryffindor? He was on the Quidditch team, quit for some reason. Why would anyone quit?"
"Uh huh." Was Winnie's response when Mathias assured her she looked 'okay'. "We can't all be as cute as you, Matt. Are those magical clothes you're wearing? Can they do a trick?" She planted a kiss on his lips to show she was joking. "Mmh, Jack...?" He had said something about her brother, but she had already forgotten. Those lips were addictive and--
Ah shit.
Winnie practically jumped away from Matt when Jack announced his arrival. Her face heated up, burning a dark red as she raised a hand to greet him. "H-Hi Jack!" Dammit, she had to act casual.
"I mean-- You're in my tent!" A sisterly hug was in coming, Jack should have been used to them by now. The Ravcnclaw had to practically fling herself upwards to reach his shoulders and give him a squeeze. "JACKSON. Stop getting taller. I'm going to need to carry around a ladder to hug you!" She released him, dropping back down onto her feet just in time to see Matt find her gift.
"Something I made for you." She admitted sheepishly, walking over to the former Slytherin to peek at her own work. He loved it! He loved her-- "Wait-- you do?" He had said that love was too strong of a word last time. Had he changed his mind over the past few months? She wanted to question it, ask him when he knew, but she couldn't form a proper thought because MATT SAID HE LOVED HER.
"Matt... T-That makes me so happy..." She wrapped her arms around him when he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "You make me happy." Her heart was still pounding against her chest when he pulled away to show Jack the photographs.

Interacting with @Gideon Athanatos, @Galton Lansdale, @Meenauh Silmataurea, @Jack Warren. Mentioning almost everyone.
George hissed in pain, gritting his teeth as the hot pepper oil really soaked into his face. It stung all around but only got worse when he tried to wipe it away, and eventually he gave up, his reddened eyes streaming tears as he struggled to look around the tent. What the hell had he gotten on his face that would do this? He could hear declarations of love happening between Winnie and Mathias, which made him feel slightly ill. Nobody ought to love anybody at their age. It was disgusting.
The stranger mentioned Hugh, which caused the blind badger to perk his head up and look around. Was Galton friends with Hugh? George blinked and sniffled, the haze of pepper heat finally starting to wash away with the waterfall of tears streaming down his cheeks. "Augh," he let out an unpleasant grunt and sniffled again. "...Galton, you and Meenauh are dating?"
This news was almost as disgusting as the Winnie-Matthias make-out session that had been happening only moments ago. He heard Meenauh laugh, though. Maybe she was just keeping him around for amusement. George could see the appeal. Her reasons for keeping him became apparent when she started to try and summon cookie chunks out of Galton's mouth. "Oh my god!" Clearly, he was how she expressed her psychotic side. She was summoning his stomach contents out onto the floor of the tent! "That is disgusting, please don't..."
Whatever diet Galton was on was not worth having him spew cookie chunks all over the tent. Somehow, Jack Warren was the least disruptive person in the tent so far. Summer just got longer by the second...
"Sorry, I don't know what I had on my face, but it... hurts," George said to Gideon with a sniffle. A little whimper of pain from the older boy - a little morsel of suffering to satisfy the young Athanatos' sadistic side for just a moment. But he put his brave face back on and looked up to Jack with a half-grin. "Oh, be careful being his friend. He'll get you into trouble."
Puffy eyes gazed out at the legion of stuffies that were arranged on Gideon's bed. Wow - George didn't even think Jake had that many. Spiders, snakes and sharks were unusual choices of bedtime bodyguards, but George was in no position to judge. He owned a stuffed owl and a stuffed bull, two very bizarre buddies. Of course, only the bull, Bully, was present. Owly was in Walkerburn, where George's mom was with his brother.
The half-blinded Hufflepuff reached out, taking a moment to recover his hand-eye coordination enough to accept the snake. He immediately moved to hug the stuffed animal, smiling down to Gideon. "Thank you, Giddy," George said cheerfully. It was like he was talking to a version of Jake that didn't hate him. He knew he wouldn't mess this one up. "What's his name?"
Unaware of any nastiness the snake might be hiding, George picked it up and draped it over his shoulders, laying over the back of his neck. "You can have Bully if you like," George said, nodding toward his own stuffie. His gaze moved back to Winnie, now - she was talking, so she wouldn't be kissing Matthias. "Oh, awesome! I haven't watched Quidditch in a while, actually... I ought to go to more games. I'll go to the ones this summer to cheer you on. Jack and I will have to come up with a good chant for 'Winnie'..."
