Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
Answer: WEALTHY ~ Airlia's family is former royalty and to this day they own a castle and while they have given up their titles to be closer to the people of Taika, they are still seen as the town leaders and Airlia's parents are called: The Lord and Lady of Taika.

Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
Answer: HEIRESS ~ Her older brother ran away to be with his boyfriend around the same time as Airlia started Hogwarts. Knowing he was traveling around the world struggling to make money and yet being free was hard on her as she became the Winter family heir with her future as Lady of Taika decided for her because of millennia of tradition.
What is their favorite clothing style?

Is there, someone, they wish they could meet?
Answer: ANGELO ~ Angelo is Airlia's brother's boyfriend and she can't wait to meet him. Her brother is very in love and wishes to marry Angelo one day. Because she cares for her brother Airlia would love nothing more than meet the guy her brother loves.

Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
They are not rich, but also are not poor; they would probably be in the lower middle class.
How do they feel about that?
Money was never too much of an issue for them, except when Amadea was pulled out of her fancy boarding school. However, Amadea's aunt has always struggled with money which caused her to always be grateful for what she had.
Did they have a happy childhood?
Yes, Amadea grew up in a happy home.

Newchurch, England in the Castillion Manor, constantly being bombarded by Lasy Estella about how to be more lady-like.
Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
Wealthy. They're quite the aristocrats.
How do they feel about that?
They're grateful, for sure. They're glad their brothers get treated well, and didn't get broken up. They definitely don't hate Kryon or Estella, they're just kind of—pretenious.
Did they have a happy childhood?
For the most part. Though, they can't really remember.
Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
The death of their parents which—is neither good nor bad to them at the moment.

Hippogriff, obviously! They love magical creatures and creatures in general.

The Firebolt, for obvious reasons. They don't care much for aesthetics as long as the performance is there. They'll never earn enough to buy the thing though.
What do they look for in a friend?
Quick wit and a willingness to learn. Ability to stand their ground but isn't particularly stuck-up. Otherwise, they'd rather be left alone.

Character Questionnaire
Where were they raised?
Claudia was born and raised in Ailsworth, England. The only reason why is because I generated it randomly (haha). I guess the name kind of fits her because it’s called “Ails”worth and she kind of has a “sick” personality. Just not in a good way.
Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
Claudia’s family is a little bit on the poor side when a potion goes wrong. They make and sometimes create potions and so sometimes the potions blow up or something and they have to pay to fix something. However, when something goes well they are payed nicely so generally they are in a good, comfortable place.

How do they feel about that?
Oh, Claudia doesn’t really care. As long as she has funds to buy new books, she’s happy. Doesn’t take much.

Did they have a happy childhood?
Well, Claudia was happy and open for a little bit until the incident happened. Once she lost her eye, she grew distant with everyone and lost her friends. Maybe she was insecure, maybe she was just scarred, but her reasons remain a mystery even to herself.

Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
Ah, well this isn’t an easy one. Right off the bat I’d say that the scene in which she lost her left eye was life-changing. Because it was! Claudia’s whole personality - and appearance - changed. But for the worse? Or for the better?

What is their favorite clothing style?
Claudia loves dressing up as a goth. This came to be because she always dresses in dark colors and when i was looking up potential outfits for her only gothic clothes came up. Her clothing is sort of a reflection of her murky soul.

Do they have any favorite game(s)?
Um, Claudia never really played any board games as a child and she also didn’t really have any friends to play with either. So... does reading count?

What sort of music do they like?
Claudia likes classical and instrumental music because she can listen to it when studying or reading. It doesn’t diverge from her concentration so she likes that. However, recently she’s been getting into a little rock.

What's their favorite book genre?
Books! Claudia can’t get enough of them. She loves every genre (except for romance, she says there’s literally no plot and all of them are the same) so choosing one would be hard for her. Maybe Sci-Fi? She just seems like that kind of person.

Which class is their favorite?
That’s easy: potions! Her parents are potion makers and she’s interested in chemistry.

How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)
Claudia doesn’t like to travel, but there is one exception: books. She loves to travel through a book to a different reality.

Is there a broom they want? If they already have their favorite, what makes it great?
Claudia isn’t really interested in flying or brooms so the good ol’ school issued broom is good enough for her!

What do they look for in a friend?
Hmmm, so this doesn’t really apply to Claudia. She doesn’t look for friends because she doesn’t think she needs any. She prefers to stay distant from others and doesn’t enjoy having to talk (unless caught in the astronomy tower or talking about books). So Claudia doesn’t really look for friends, she just finds them. Which, she tells herself, is not the same thing.

What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?
Already answered this in my ency, so I already have it thought out: a creepy library filled with books. She loves books and prefers to stay distant and alone. The silence of the library helps her focus. Claudia doesn’t wish for friends or care for family, though she might see herself reading in the library with two eyes instead of one...

What is their strongest trait? (Feel free to list two or three)
Intelligence, mainly for positive. She’s smart and loves to read. Maybe for Negative her rudeness or awkwardness.

Who do they admire most?
Well, really no one. She admires one of her uncles, I guess. But that’s only because he reads.

Is there someone they wish they could meet?
Claudia would love to meet her favorite author, though that is constantly changing as new books come out.

Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)?
I honestly don’t know. Some people may think she’s weak maybe, but that’s only because sometimes she lets slip the insecurities of herself. But that’s quick and brief, and rarely shown.

What do they like about themselves?
Claudia doesn’t really like anything about herself or stop to think of her traits. She just doesn’t care.

Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote?
A book is a work of fiction until a dream makes it reality

☆ Claudia Gears, First Year ☆
Confusion... personified; the awkwardness is real.

Character Questionnaire
Where were they raised?
Jarrow, England. It's a small town near Newcastle.
Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
On the poorer end of comfortable, in the Moore household both parents work to provide for their four children. Calvin's birth wasn't exactly planned, and as a result his mother had to make a lot of compromises regarding her career in order to raise her son.
How do they feel about that?
For the most part, Calvin is rather content with his upbringing, believing that his parents worked very very hard to give him the opportunities he's had. He's grateful for their hard work, and isn't one to be envious of people who grew up in more wealthy households.
Did they have a happy childhood?
Yes! Calvin's mother and his stepfather were loving parents, and Calvin grew up with his siblings rather happily. Though some children may be burdened by the disappearance of their father, Cal was so young that he scarcely remembers the man at all. He appreciates his stepfather immensely, seeing him as his father.
Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.
His most influential life event by far was joining the junior rugby team near his home. Calvin discovered a passion for the sport as a result, and he altered almost all of his habits to build his athleticism and pursue a mastery in it.
What is their favorite clothing style?
Calvin's clothing is primarily athletic in nature. Basketball shorts and T-shirts were his go to before he came to Hogwarts.
Do they have any favorite game(s)?
Growing up, he was the king of British Bulldog on the playground, if that counts.
What sort of music do they like?
Calvin likes rock music, mostly classic rock for now as he hasn't had the experience to really leave his parents' taste and form his own opinions yet. As he grows older, that may well change.
What's their favorite book genre?
While not overly fond of reading, Calvin enjoys reading up on things that interest him. His favorite genre is Nonfiction, largely relating to sports history and geography.
Which class is their favorite?
Flying or Herbology
How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)
Broom absolutely! The boy adores Quidditch.
Is there a broom they want? If they already have their favorite, what makes it great?
In all honesty, Calvin is the stubborn sort who believes that, if you have to spend money on a broom, you're cheating in a way. To him, the school broom is the ideal, because it doesn't give him what he believes to be an unfair edge. Though the broom is of fairly basic quality, he believes wholeheartedly that it is only his skill that allows him to fly it as he does. That being said, of course Calvin has kept his eye on the broom market. He likes sturdy but affordable brooms, and once he has the money for it he'll almost certainly look into the Nimbus 1000.
What do they look for in a friend?
Calvin's one of the easiest people to befriend. You can be kind, or rude, or anywhere in between, so long as you occasionally give the boy the time of day. In a good friend, he appreciates honesty above all else.
What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?
Himself, as a champion Quidditch player, likely surrounded by his family, all happy and healthy. Calvin's dreams are fairly simple.
What is their strongest trait? (Feel free to list two or three)
By far, Calvin's strongest trait is his sense of justice and fairness. Either that, or his ability to hyper-focus on things that interest him.
Who do they admire most?
His mother. She works so hard, tirelessly, for himself and his siblings, and Calvin admires her dedication.
Is there someone they wish they could meet?
Famous beaters of past Quidditch teams! He wants to know how to do it best.
Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)?
Intelligence, for sure. The boy takes a long time to master skills that require a lot of thinking, especially if he isn't particularly interested in it. However, Calvin has a lot of knowledge on topics that interest him; he could go on for hours listing countries and capital cities, or describing geological features of numerous regions around the world.
What do they like about themselves?
Calvin takes the most pride in his athleticism.
Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote?
"We do have a lot in common, the same earth, the same air, the same sky. Maybe if we started looking at what's the same instead of always looking at what's different...well who knows?” - Meowth, Pokemon

Where were they raised?
Ivy was raised in the countryside of Sussex, England, literally in the middle of nowhere, in a large, forbidding manor with beautiful gardens.
Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?
Wealthy as heck. The Bellamys are one of the wealthiest families in the pureblood community.
How do they feel about that?
Ivy's quite used to it, and she likes some parts of it, but it comes with a bit of responsibility as well.
Did they have a happy childhood?
The first half of Ivy's childhood was quite idyllic and happy. No matter how busy they were, they always made sure to spend time with their daughters and were the best parents in the world, but when her older sister Lillian eloped, they shut Ivy and her younger sister out of their lives. She's given everything she asks for, but their family is more so convenience and duty before love nowadays.

calm in the face of fear, responsibility, independence
Who do they admire most?
She doesn't really admire anyone. Welp.
Is there someone they wish they could meet?
She really wants to meet her great-grandmother.
Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)?
People underestimate how brave she can be. She's typically kind of quiet (unless with her friends) and appears to be the kind of person who would run and hide if put in danger, but Ivy can be really brave, especially if her friends are in danger.
What do they like about themselves?
Ivy is rather doubtful about herself, but she likes how she is calm in the face of danger.
Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote?
Lose your balance for a moment and there you go, the world flings you off its spinning surface and it's not so easy to scramble back on.
