It's just an item that you can own. You can claim you have access to it for moderated event purposes, otherwise there is no OOC effect.

Hi, is it still possible to change Beatrice's Birthday and Residence at this point? I haven't really mentioned it anywhere in a roleplay that she specifically lives in Edinburgh (which is her current residence) or her Birthday. If it is possible to change, could someone possible include the link where to apply for changing it? Thank you!

The Birthday would just be changed from 10 October 2010 to 11 November 2011. The Residence would be changed from Edinburgh, Scotland to Fort William, Scotland.

I believe residence can be changed ONCE- but birthday- no. but obviously someone can correct me if I'm wrong

But you can't change your birthday to anything you want it to be, you still have to follow the rules of the September 2022 school year. Let me check and see again what it was.

Since you are a first year during the 2022-2023 academic school year, your character must be born between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011. So you'd have to pick a birthday between those dates. I think you can only change your birthday one time though too. You can't keep changing it.

I think you can also change residence but it has to make sense.

I remember someone else changing their residence but forgot who it was. For making any changes you'd have to either owl a staff member, post in the updates section or do both. Hope this helps!

Butttt- they already had their birthday picked out, upon validation. Why change birthday again? I don't think you can do that unless you had like a birth certificate like you would OOC

That's what I'm saying, in order to change residence and/or birthday you'd have to ask a staff member to see if you can do it first.

Just because you can automatically change your birthday does not mean you are allowed to... you'd still need to get permission to do so! I'd say just to make sure ask a staff member first!
