Oliver, make sure you choose the links that end in certain file extensions. That is, the link must end in .png, .jpg, .gif, or other image formats for the picture to show.

They are not working for you because you are linking to the img.bb page itself, not the actual picture. Once you have the picture link with proper extension, paste it between [ img] [ /img] without any spaces.

The link you want is the one circled in red under “bbcode”, not the first one. If you don’t want the underlined link, simply remove the [url] [ /url] portion.

I have a question- I’m deactivating and creating a new account. Do I need to use a different email than I am currently using for Cara? If yes I can totally do so, just need to know.

Yes, unless you ask Lear or a HoH if they could possibly change the one associated with your former account (so that it won't be associated anymore) before the deactivation process is completed.

You can change the email address that is connected with your current account yourself. In the dropdown menu under your profile picture you click "Account" and it should take you there directly.

IIRC I've tried this, but still the first email address I used to register account A couldn't be used to register account B (even though account A's address is a new one, not the one used for registration). What happened?
