@Simon Tilia, I do that too.... read several at once. But I tend to do it in stages. Right now I am in the focus-on-one-at-a-time stage. I think it is because real life is keeping me as busy as grasshopper on a griddle truth be told. Btw... your character's first name is AWESOME!

I finished this book called the English Patient a few days ago and the description in that book is simply one of the best descriptions I've ever read, if not the best!

And agreed re: The English Patient. Ondaatje's writing is beyond beautiful. I personally love his poetry, too. You might also like another of his books called Warlight.
