@Azrael Faire you cannot and should not diagnose that sort of thing just from one interaction. You don’t know who this is and cannot be giving that sort of advice to a stranger.

also @Azrael Faire... I'm currently working on making revisions for a post staff reached out to me about, and I also have other stuff going on... I'd really appreciate if you could not rush me on the reply, as I'll get to it as soon as I can, but sometimes being reminded/pressured to do something that's already on my to-do list makes me lose motivation for that thing..

There are a lot of ways!

Apart from begging, you can set up a shop to earn money. Pay attention to the monthly rewards for house points --- sometimes the rewards can be pretty high. You can find some paid positions around school, too. Errands also occasionally have monetary rewards.

Best way, though, is just check back every day for the 10/- as that really adds up quickly!
