I held off reading the Deathly Hallows for so long because the only copy my parents would have let me get was the library one, which had... questionable stuff on its cover.

ohhh that makes sense on why you’d delay. My mum bought the entire series as they came out, and those are the books I read. Now we have newer editions cause I read their spines off (literally…) which is cool, but so are the original ones

Yeah, I have a full collection now too. My friends make fun of me for having so many books, especially for having a full shelf dedicated to Harry Potter but like... who can blame me? i have come close to murdering a lot of my friends (ava winchect style) several times because of their reluctance to discover what their hogwarts house is

You have to have 1000 books to say you have a library. Well… I have a library. Books all over the house, and i love it. There are literally book shelves in everyone’s bed rooms, including in my brothers room, even though two of them are dyslexic (we just recently found that out, but still)

A large majority of my friends (from Taekwondo at least) are fans of the series, something I bonded with a lot of them over
