Hi, Alice. Welcome! Beans appear in new locations throughout H.io every 6 hours. The way you get one is to search for them in each area you have access to. They are always pictured at the top of the page, next to one of the chains that hold the thread boards. If you see one, just click it and it goes into your collection. They will only ever be on the current page, meaning you do not have to search all 8 million pages of "At the Counter", for example, to find it. Be aware that sometimes the bean will be in an area you, as a first year do not have access to. Don't worry about it, though, beans are constantly rotated so if you miss one, it will come back around. Some are very rare and some are very common.
