hi. does anyone know whether france still has orphanages? i need this for an article and researched but it was to no avail. i know we have some french players on here so popping a message to see if they know.

I'm not sure. I just know that for HiO purposes, they do not allow your character to say they are orphans or live in an orphanage. They also said that there should be no orphanages in the countries where students are accepted to live for HiO. Not sure if you're asking for some other reason but if it's for HiO reasons, you cannot have orphanages relating to your character for the site.
If I'm wrong let me know. I just remember asking this question before when I first joined and was told that I can't do that and must have an actual home with parents or guardians that take care of my character. It can't be an orphanage.
