How am I supposed to compare forbidden knowledge as a theme between The Handmaids Tale and Frankenstein???

Ummm I've never read the hand maids tale, nor Frankenstein. But I know the plot of that.

So it's probably asking you how, the knowledge they aren't ment to know is used in booth plots, with there differences and similarities. With the making the 'cadaver' come to life (imo this could be seen as forbidden knowledge) and whatever it is in hand maids tale.

It`s that AP Lit or A-Level one?
So Forbidden knowledge is like something that the characters are not supposed to know but us as readers know, I guess?

well, I haven't read Frankenstein, but I get the sense that both Offred and Frankenstein are expected to be like perfect little puppets and go along with the expectations set for them but they both (well, Offred, at least) knows what it's like to have been free with certain rights and she remembers a time where handmaidens didn't exist and they weren't expected to basically breed for men
