Character Backstory: Viva lived with her parents in Yorkshire, England, her whole life leading up to Hogwarts. Her mum, Bea, is a muggle, and her dad, Keneth, is a wizard. When Keneth met Bea, he gave up his life in the magical world to go and live with her in the muggle world. They were married, and had Viva, currently their only child. Keneth of course told Bea that he was a wizard, but had to stop using his magic once they lived in the muggle world. He tried to convince himself that he made the right choice over the years, but always wondered if he wouldn't have been happier in the wizarding world, where he could use magic again. He slowly became more and more bitter and angry about life, resulting in Viva being scared of her father most of the time and not very close with him. Viva went to muggle school for primary school, where she did fine and never failed a test. Her parents had never told her about magic, however, until her accidental magic, when she dropped a vase and it didn't break. Then her parents explained that she was magic, just like her father, and would hopefully be going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Viva was extremely excited to learn this, her whole world changed by the revelation that magic did indeed exist.
First Instance of Magic: On her eighth birthday, Viva discovered she was a witch when she dropped a precious vase her father had just bought for her mother. The vase did not shatter, though it should have. Her parents were overjoyed to learn that their daughter had magic.

Character Statistics:
Stamina: 7
Evasion: 7
Strength: 9
Wisdom: 2
ArcPower: 2
Accuracy: 8
Character Backstory: Boo was born on the 5th of April in 2012. He grew up in a pretty average town in Ireland. Thanks to his lighthearted personality he had lots of friends and was always surrounded by them. His parents are decent kind people who didn't impose too many rules on their one son. He had lots of freedom growing up- maybe even too much freedom. Due to his parents both being Aurors, they worked long hours and were sometimes even unable to return home. This lead to Boo developing a close bond with the pureblood family next door and becoming incredibly independent and self-reliant. Although he appears slightly shallow to those on the outside, the absence of his parents lead to a development of distrust to anything magic related. Boo started to run and workout often, and would prefer to do things without the help of magic or any other people.
He developed a profound interest and curiosity in the Muggle world, and would often go sneaking around trying to figure out the way others lived.
Since he grew up in a town with beautiful scenery, Boo is incredibly appreciative of all nature. He developed a habit of going for a run or walk in the early morning just to enjoy the sunrise and cold fresh air.
First Instance of Magic: Boo was 6 when, in his struggle to pick up seven plates at once, he dropped them. He had been clearing up the dining table, bent on bringing all the dishes to the sink in one go when he slipped and the plates all fell to the ground. To his surprise, they just bounced off the ground, much unlike their typical behaviour. His mother was overjoyed.

Meluna grew up in a divorced family. Her mother, Katrina Ravenwisp, kept Meluna in a mundane school until her first instance of magic. Because if her mothers heavy beliefs in Crhrstianity, Meluna had been taught and kept away from magic the majority of her life. Rather than her daughter grown up in a magic world, she had expected Meluna to grow up a Christian. Melunas father, Caelum Ravenwisp, had all the high hopes and knowing that his daughter would be of magical blood. He hadn't told Katrina about his gifts until her learned his wife was pregnant with Meluna. A few years into the raising of Meluna, the fights and squabbles of raising Meluna as a human away from Hogwarts and magic were a constant tear in the couples relationship. Despite her fathers efforts trying to teach Meluna under subtle means such as a storybook her would read to her and write as he did so, the Marriage didn't last. Meluna lived a life of two worlds once the divorce was final. The attitude of her mother against magic and her father for the idea of magic pivoted Meluna in the middle. Meluna learned what she could from her fathers books but she couldn't keep them with her when she went back to her mother in Seattle. So she made a point to learn, and learn she did, which lead up to her FIOM a few years later.
First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
At age ten, during an evening when her father has come home and Meluna had put a pot of water on the stove to make soup for the two of them, they had plunged neck deep into an argument about her fathers work. Meluna had called her mother hours before and she had taken her mothers advice to pry at her father for details of his work. She had sat down at the table with a cup of chamomile tea and she gripped the cup furiously as she yelled at her father, cursing him and screaming that he explain his long time secrets. What secrets could be so important that he needed to keep it from her. She had found books in his closet that day that she didn't understand and pictures of people she had never met. Why...why keep her in the dark. During such an argument, Meluna only seemed to remember spewing how much she hated him and his eyes glanced down at her hands gripping the teacup. When she noticed his eyes widen after the last thing she had told him was that she wanted to go home to her mother, the last thing she expected to see was a hot pink, slightly misshapen teacup in her hands with boiling liquid. They stared at the teacup for a long while before her father managed a few quiet words. "I need to call your mother." Something he never said because he always told Meluna she needed to call her mother. Meluna sat in her seat holding the misshapen cup as her father called her mother to explain things. She didn't know how to feel and what to do. Father seemed so calm when he sat down with her after he hung up the phone. "It's time you know." He said and began to explain.

Character name: Jacqueline Eve Phoenix
Year: First year
Link to your encyclopedia page: viewtopic.php?t=31119
Statistics: Stamina-7 Evasion-6 Strength-8 Wisdom-8 ArcPower- 5 Accuracy- 7
Character Backstory:Born on June 19th 2012 Jacqueline is the firstborn daughter and only child of Russian pureblood witch Natalia Romanov and Irish wizard Natrix Phoenix. She is Irish.
Both of her parents are high ranked wizards. Natalia Romanov has attended to Durmstrang Institute of Magic and her father has attended to Hogwarts. Jacqueline was born in Ireland and lived in Dublin her whole life. Jacqueline has a nuclear family, only her and her parents. Jacqueline was taught basic knowledge, Russian, English, French and Spanish by her mother who in other words is Jacqueline's best friend. Jacqueline's father is a Ministry Auror.
FIOM: Until the age of 8 her parents did not see anything magical about Jacqueline, which caused them to worry until one day Jacqueline accidentally broke the table in their kitchen out of anger towards her drunk relatives, they were not behaving. Fortunately no one was harmed due to this though they were leaning on the table.
Name of ability that you are applying for: Perselmouth
Why does it fit your character:
From the day Jacqueline was born her father hoped that she would have the ability of talking to snakes, of being friends with them. It was because Jacqueline's father and others before him, all of them, were sorted into Slytherin and were true Slytherins with all the values needed for a real Slytherin. There were family members who had that rare and unique ability, only a few of them, including Jacqueline's grandfather, Natrix Phoenix Senior. He was the lastfamily member to have that ability, after his death Jacqueline was born and right away her father hoped she would be have that ability. And his hopes were not pointless, it came true. Natrix's excitement had no borders when he found out about it though this ability is considered as something not normal, or rather, we can say, it's considered as dark magic or as a sign of dark wizards, but Natrix was afraid that in their future generations this ability would vanish and that's why he wanted so much for someone from his nieces or nephews, or his daughter to have this ability.
So the first time Natrix caught her daughter having this ability was when she was only 6. She was quite young. It was a sunny summer day, Jacqueline's aunt's birthday which they were celebrating outside for a lot of friends and relatives were invited. Jacqueline's cousin: her uncle's son is death scared of snakes, always thinks they might bite him. On that day, unfortunately, a snake came near the guests and the first person it encountered was Jacqueline's cousin. He let out a scream of fear, and the snake, as Jacqueline noticed was ready to leave his mark on him, that's when all of a sudden Jacqueline spoke. The guests didn't understand a single word she said, it was as if she was whispering something in a funny language. And that's when the snake obediently went away disappearing in the garden. It was the first time that even Jacqueline herself caught her speaking to a snake from then on she knew she had that extraordinary ability. This ability of Jacqueline until today is her father's pride. This kind of also proves that Jacqueline is a right student for Slytherin, once again this proves that Jacqueline is worth being in that house and also worth having that ability for she only uses it for good and never tells snakes to attack on somebody but rather she commands them to not harm anyone.

Hello, before processing the application and giving it my approval stamp—there are several things you need to fix:
- You do not have a trunk post which will be the location where your spells, potions and stats will be placed. Make sure that this is visible on your encyclopedia. And make sure that mandatory information is visible.
- Your background information does not meet the word minimum requirement of 220 words as it counts for 100 words. Kindly add more information so that we may get a clear outline of your character's backstory.
- All first year have a number of stats summing up to 35 with each statistics category having a cap of 10, therefore yours exceeds the expected total amount of stats required. Even so, you are applying for parselmouth—this implies that you will have a total number of stats adding up to 30. For more information, check out this thread; viewtopic.php?t=7503#p116055
- You do not meet the minimum word requirement of 500 words for application of talent such as Parselmouth. You wrote 413 words, please add more.

In the late 1950s, south England saw the immigration of the pure-blooded Noguchi clan. They departed postwar Japan and settled quietly within the small wizarding community living in Andover. From the beginning of their life in the United Kingdom, the Noguchis found it hard to integrate into western society and saw this as the result of their choice to reside in such a small town. Over the years, the members of the family withdrew from the region one by one until only the elders were left and their passing marked the end of Noguchi blood in Andover. Many went to London or Manchester, but Daisuke Noguchi and his parents moved up north to Edinburgh.
Born in the United Kingdom, it wasn’t as hard for Daisuke to assimilate into the country’s culture. He lived a relatively privileged childhood, graduated Hogwarts, and went on to work for the Ministry for most of his life. At the age of twenty seven, he left the bustle of Edinburgh for the smaller, richer town of St. Andrews. It was there that he laid eyes on Ofeliya Buchvarova for the first time.
Not the first Veela family to emigrate from eastern Europe to the UK, the Buchvarovs made land there centuries before the Noguchis did, but they were definitely as pure. It was custom long ago in the Buchvarov family that Veelas married Vodavoys. However, as the modern age made its way to magical society in the UK, the motivation to keep their bloodline pure had fizzled out by the time Ofeliya met Daisuke. The generation before Ofeliya’s was the last time Veelas were arranged with Vodavoys and as such, the young adult and her siblings’ appearances were akin to a textbook drawing of a Veela. Ofeliya herself possessed light blonde hair, shining pale skin, and blue eyes brighter than the waters of St. Andrews Beach. And with her alluring nature, it made sense that Daisuke was enticed.
It didn’t take long for them to fall in love. Ofeliya was beautiful and Daisuke had his merits as a rich and pure-blooded wizard. She quickly became pregnant, having a son by the name of Nobuyuki. Several more half-Veela children followed until either Ofeliya or Daisuke got bored of the other. Nobuyuki couldn’t really recall as it happened when he was so young and so uninterested in what his parents were doing. But after the divorce, Nobuyuki spent time with both of them equally, learning to use the skills of his Veela and wizarding ancestry with great ease. And as that ancestry would have it, Nobuyuki was no stranger to suitors. He’d have anyone. Once they met his astronomically high standards, of course. Warned off using his abilities to intentionally attract by his father, they still came in droves for him, wherever he went.
Nobuyuki, in his mid-twenties, adopted a pet project of tracing his family’s routes. He explored the Buchvarov origins in Bulgaria and the Noguchi clan in Japan before returning to the UK, seeking out Andover to observe where the latter had settled. There, he met Maja Foxglove. She was a hardy, do-it-herself woman that caught Nobuyuki’s eyes in the second he saw her. That wasn’t particularly special; many women and men caught his eyes. But what aggravated him was her swift rejection. In truth, Maja was very taken with Nobuyuki, but her focus on her studies and her job left no time for a relationship. Still, his relentless pursuit teetered on the side of endearing, so she eventually gave in.
Unfortunately, none of this was enough to keep Nobuyuki around once Maja told him that she was pregnant. He fled without telling her where he was going and months later, Kaito was born, taking his mother’s last name.
From a young age, Kaito learned that the regular rules didn’t seem to apply to him. He got away with things other kids didn’t. He had a knack for attracting friends, even though he barely had time to entertain them. People shared things with him, treated him better than others, pampered him. He had no idea why, but he could only describe it as ‘pretty privilege’. Magical nymph bird things and wizards were never a guess to why he was the way he was. He just used this talent as an advantage when he could; mostly for getting extra time on homework and kindly telling people to leave him alone. Besides, his looks couldn’t really help him get into a prestigious private school without the grades to back it up. He does wonder where it comes from. If his unknown father had passed on some of his charm or attractiveness. But he at least knew for sure that his ability to dance came from his mother.

Character Backstory:
Reducio
Born to a young mother in Andover, Kaito has a lot to be thankful for. Others may not see it that way. Instead, they may pay attention to the lack of a father figure in his life, or the fact that he’s lived in a shabby-looking duplex since birth. They’ll try to point out that his mum’s working two jobs or how abnormal it is that he has to spend the night at the neighbor’s place if she has to work a double shift. Kaito knows it’s not the best living situation, but he’d rather tell those people to shove it instead of criticizing all his mother’s done for him. The woman keeps food on the table and gas in the tank while still having the time to actually be a mother. She plays the role of both parents successfully and always makes sure he has a warm bed and someone to tuck him in for the night if she can’t be there. Kaito’s hero is his mother and it’s because of her that he enjoyed his childhood, no matter how less fortunate people try to make them out to be.
Of all the hobbies that Kaito’s mother passed down to him, his favorite is dance. He loves it in every form, but especially ballet. When he was young, it was his dream to attend the Royal Ballet School in London and perform with them for the rest of his life. As he aged, he realized that he’d never be as talented at it as his mother was and if she couldn’t turn it into a career, he would have less than a zero percentage chance. So he took his studies seriously. He was on track to earn himself a scholarship at one of those fancy private schools in Andover. His whole life, Kaito’s worshipped his mother, and it was his dream to pay her back for everything she’d done for him. And to do that, he’d need good grades to get a good degree to get a good job. Nowadays, he wonders how well galleons will help her.
The day a teacher from Hogwarts showed up at his duplex, Kaito learned that he was a wizard. He doesn’t know if his long gone father is a wizard, or he’s just muggle-born as he’s recently learned it's called. And he still doesn’t know how to feel about taking off for the adventure of a lifetime while leaving his mother behind.

On a night that his mother had to work a double shift, Kaito made his way over to the other home in the duplex and the elderly couple living there welcomed him in and sent him up to the room he'd become quite familiar with. After making himself comfortable for bed, he realized that he hadn't brought over his favorite chicken plushie from his and his mother's apartment. But he was too embarrassed to tell his caretakers about this because what nine year-old boy needed a stuffed animal for bed. So he curled up under the sheets and wrapped his arms around himself, trying and failing to ignore that empty feeling. Drifting in and out of sleep for a while, he suddenly awoke to find the plushie squished against his skin as he hugged it tightly. It had somehow just appeared in his hands! Kaito could find a rational explanation for most things, but not for this.

Character Statistics: Stamina: 4 — Evasion: 5 — Strength: 4 — Wisdom: 6 — Arcane Power: 6 — Accuracy: 5
Character Special Race/Talent: Part goblin [WC: 569]
ReducioGoblins don't do last names. That much is known. Goblins are remembered by what they do, their actions make up their legacies not their family. Because Goblins don't do last names, finding the beginning of the line Errast came from us rather a moot point, his line starts with who he knows.
Gargrot was an older Goblin, one who worked first making weapons for the pride of it but then took a job at Gringotts so he could take care of the young boy dropped in his care. Gargrot never married, but he did have many kids. Some of them were pure goblins just like him, but some were part wizards much to the displeasure of those around him.
Maria Drakes was a younger daughter of his, beautiful and adventurous, he knew he'd have trouble with her. He had her with an older witch, and she was mostly raised with her mother, away from her goblin father and his history. Gargrot heard of her leaving many times with many people, wanting to see the whole of Europe. When she showed up in 2012 with an infant on her hip, he figured she would settle for once, that maybe coming to know her father’s side would be enough adventure for her. He woke the next morning to her gone and the infant still sleeping where he was left.
The baby's father was unknown to the goblin, and he couldn't see someone that shared his blood being put in another home, so he decided to take up the responsibility that this child was. He sometimes wondered if there was a man out there, looking for the little boy, but he would quickly dismiss that thought.
The boy grew up under his care, coming into his pointy ears and long fingers. He looked every bit like a mix of goblin and wizard, though he grew without regard to it. He was short but no less than a wizard his age would be.
His mother gave him no real name, so Gargrot called him Errast, a very noble name he thought. Though as the child grew he would introduce himself as Ernest instead, not in love with being stuck with an untraditional goblin name.
Ernest was a big fan of his grandfather's stories growing up, always about a goblin with a legacy. Ernest wanted to be one of those goblins but his grandfather made sure to tell him, “No half bred little boy is ever going to be a legacy to goblins, stick to those who will be happy to remember you”. Ernest wondered if he would ever have someone besides his grandfather to remember him.
Because of his heritage, Ernest favored history about the goblins and he loved to sketch out weapons he could make when his grandfather thought him old enough. When he turned 10, his grandfather took him to work with him, and gave him the key to a vault just for Ernest. “This is your birthright, every extra galleon I make will be put here for you, so you better do well with it. As a goblin, you need to know the feel of galleons in your hand and in your pocket; never let someone pull something on you.”
Ernest figured if his ears didn't let people know that he wasn't a normal wizard like him, he could prove it with his intelligence. No one would ever trick him.
Backstory:
ReducioGoblins and wizards don't get along. Centuries of accusing and violence, hate and ignorance had made wizards and goblins decide that they did not want to get to know the other or see the other as worthy of approach. Many goblins stayed by themselves, not even getting along with their own kind. Though as the centuries passed, more and more goblins were working with the wizards, the species tended to mix.
In the fall of 2011, a child born with pointed ears and long fingers was handed to an older Goblin. Even though the boy could be passed off as any other wizard, there's no denying that there was some Goblin in his blood. Many would believe that he should go to a wizarding family, that would be better for him in the long run but as many goblins would say; goblins have the right to anything they create, even their kids.
Ernest was raised by his grandfather, a short grumpy Goblin who worked at Dragon Alley, at Gringotts Wizarding Bank alongside many of his kind. The Half blood didn't really get along with his family, his parents not sticking around long and his grandfather kept him through pride and moral obligation only.
When the letter came, flying across their land with purpose passed his grandfather and right up to him. Hogwarts, a wizarding school that trained young wizards to greatness.
His grandfather didn't speak much about it the next couple of days, but before the week ended he was handing Errast a small tote of sickles. “Get what you need, and only what you need, ‘cause I ain't gonna help you carry none of it,” the Goblin remarked.
The weeks leading up to the departure to Hogwarts, or some of the best for the family of two, as it was quiet between them. Some days before it was time to go, though, Ernest met a tall wizard, who claimed he was here to take Ernest.
“t's for the best, boy,” his grandfather just said, even as Ernest tried to understand, “The ministry is going to be breathing down yer neck if you stay here, plus I can't be worrying bout you like that anymore.” Less than an hour after the taller man's arrival, Ernest was packed and escorted out.
The next couple of days, Ernest learned more about his family than he ever knew. One, he had a brother, a blood brother, one that grew up more wizard than goblin. Two, he had a dad that he didn’t share with said brother, one whose information was scarce to him; only the name James Mason being shared. Lastly, he learned that he was now a Baird, and he didn’t really get a say in that. [453 words]
First Instance of Magic:
ReducioErrast always knew that he would perform magic at some point, accidentally, his genetics would not allow for a squib. The day that he did though, was not all that overwhelming. He had been getting more and more frustrated with his grandfather, the older man seeming to get busier and busier the older the boy got. So in a fit of rage and desperation to have his grandfather's stick around, Errast slammed the door. He just happened to be across the room when he did.

Sullivan was born in Derry, Ireland.
His mother was Saoirse Niamh O'Sheehan, a Irish socialite in British aristocracy, and his father was Pierre Rousseau Olivier, the descendant of a French Count.
He has two older brothers, Caoilfhionn (23) and Beckham (13)
Before Sullivan was born, Caoilfhionn got sick (he was 9 years old). He managed to pull through the illness, but it scared his parents enough that they decided they needed to have more children to carry on the family names. As such Beckham and Sullivan were born as spares. Sullivan was close to his brother, Beckham. The two of them were always together, off exploring the grounds of Dun O'Sheen and the village beyond.
Caoilfhionn took his job as older brother very seriously, he taught Sullivan and Beckham everything he had learned, from social ettiquette to family history, Art, Music, Literature. Even though the two of them had their own tutors, Caoilfhionn still ensured he passed on his knowledge to them.
When he turned 11, he received his letter from Hogwarts, though his father had very much wanted him to register to Beauxbatons. He had a hard time choosing between Hogwarts, where his mother's family had gone, and Beauxbatons, where his fathers's family came from. He ended up choosing Hogwarts in order to stay with the friends he had made.
First Instance of Magic:
His first signs of magic happened when he was 6 years old. His mother was hosting a dinner party, and he wanted a cookie. He was denied which made him angry and he had a tantrum which caused all the kitchen cupboard doors to fly open and the dishes to crash to the floor. He was sent to his room without dinner, but his parents were relieved that he finally showed signs of magic. The prospect of raising a squib would have disappointed them greatly. He was the latest to start showing signs of magic between the three boys.

Ula was born in London, England, U.K. as Ursula Takahashi to a Japanese-born half-blooded witch Himiko Yoshioka and a famous English Muggle actor of Japanese ancestry, Kian Takahashi. Her birth followed a series of articles all titled quite similarly: "Jackie Chen Dupe, Kian Takahashi is a father". Due to her parents deciding for Ula to live a more private life, it marks one of the two times she's been mentioned by the Muggle media.
Since the young witch can recall, she has always been reminded that she's the only thing linking her parents together. Apparently, Kian Takahashi met the very attractive Himiko Yoshioka while on his vacation in Japan and what was supposed to be a one-time thing quickly turned into something bigger. Yes, Ula was very much not planned. And before Himiko realized she was carrying a child it was too late. Seeing it as easy money, the Yoshioka family quickly took advantage of the fact that their eldest daughter was pregnant with someone well known in the Muggle world. The media went berserk, calling it a scandal and the whole situation even cost her father the leading role in the Fast and Furious movie. In hopes of saving his career Kian offered the Yoshioka family a large sum of money in exchange for a collaborating media play. Himiko moved in with the young actor and soon the scandal was shut down with rumors, straying far from the truth, of the two being in love for months and wanting to raise a family together. Keeping his image safe, he found sooner than later who he invited into his wealthy estate and who actually is the woman carrying his child-a witch. Not long after, Ursula Takahashi was born.
From a young age, she was taught that rules didn't apply to you if you had money. If you ended up popping out of the right womb, you were set for life, or at least given a head start that most of the world didn't get. Her kindergarten tuition was equal to the cost of some college tuition, and her nannies had her fluent in Japanese by the time she was five. Her father owns a few vacation homes scattered across the globe, thus she traveled to more countries than most people would see in an entire life. The opportunities that Ula was granted, just because of who she was born to, were endless. Many people living on the other end of the financial spectrum would imagine that that alone would be enough to give anyone a perfect life, with no complaints, and yes, Ula is very aware that she's lucky. At the same time, things were never perfect for her, and she became aware of that at a younger age than she would have liked. Besides the obvious scripted relationship both of her parents play by, she was only around six years old when she became aware of her mothers drinking problem. A lot of people will turn to the bottle after a traumatic event, and while Himiko didn't grow into an alcoholic because she lost a parent or a child, or anything that dramatic, realizing her own family are a bunch of greedy assholes who don't really care about her wellbeing and being a mother, which she was definitely not ready to be, was enough to kick start her bad habit. Sometimes, at dinner parties with Kians close friends, guests might notice that Himiko would drink a few more glasses of wine than she should, but for someone with such a problem, she did a good job at keeping it hidden from the public. Her reasoning behind it was that she has already failed enough.
While Kian is a famous actor, never really seen at home, Himiko left behind her home country, close friends, family (even though she's cursing them any chance she gets) and her career as a potioneer for the life of the upper class house wife so she could feed her family back in Japan. Ula often felt the wrath of her mothers intoxication at home. Himiko never became physically abusive, but she certainly wasn't kind when she was drunk. It was often then, during those late-night drinking binges when she would criticize Ula for any and every thing. Her hair wasn't brushed straight enough, or the answer to a trivial question an acquaintance at the dinner party hours earlier wasn't polite enough. She wasn't befriending the right people at school, or she wasn't a grateful daughter. Even at such young age, Ula had a level of self-assurance and confidence, to a point where if those insults came from a classmate or a stranger, she wouldn't have been bothered. However, hearing it from her own mother made it different. Ula sometimes feels like her mother blames her for the way her life turned out. It forced Ula to become more insecure of herself, at least when it comes to criticism being given to her by people she actually values. It shaped her personality, and being very sensitive or at least attentive to criticism that her friends and family give her is something that still affects her today. Another thing that her mother affected was Ulas outlook on magic and the wizarding world itself. If her toddler eyes shined at the mere thought of her mother waving a magical wooden stick around, she grew quite distant towards it over the years, due to the strained relationship.
Her parents like to ignore each other, if not for the obvious, her father finds the whole witchcraft thing creepy and tends to try to disregard as many spells being spoken and strange objects he finds placed around the mansion as he can. Still, Ula being a witch herself, she maintains a better relationship with her father than her mother, but it also might be because her father frequently travels for work, so they have less time to butt heads. The said family resides in the heavily guarded Clarendon mansion in Ilford, London, U.K.

She was 8 years old when it happened (and wasn't happy about it): a food fight mayhem in the school's cafeteria many articles wrote about and marked her as a spoiled brat.
At Burgess Hill Private School for Girls on a sunny Friday, as the girls were having lunch, the quiet chatter at tables was disturbed with a loud yelp by Sarah Oberon. The young Takahashi had flipped her tray full of food all over her classmate out of nowhere...at least that's what everyone believes happened. Ula was quick to recognize the situation. Did Sarah deserve that? Yes, yes she did. Was it worth it? No, Ula has been starving since math, her first period. The initial shock was quickly replaced by a glare being directed at mashed potatoes on Sarahs face. Great, she thought, the day she hoped to never happen happened and she's hungry AND Sarah just threw mashed potatoes back at her, making it stick to her hair. Before anyone could bat an eye, all hell broke loose as one of 42 girls in the room yelled "food fight!".
Word got out to the Muggle media and E!News published an article, marking her as a "Young Primadonna whose parents haven't taught her to value food".

Character Backstory: Brain Phillips was born into a Wizard family in Leeds, England but grew up in a home with his uncle Alistair. Growing up, he had no idea that magic existed in the world. He was an avid reader and spent most of his free time buried in books. He loved school but he was bullied because of his smarts. He was never very popular because of his traits of being just smart people thought that he was too smart for his own good and thought he was bragging and was snobbish in reality he’s sought only to be accepted and a part of the school community. Brian was a curious child, always asking questions and seeking new knowledge. Alistair wasn't sure about the introduction of magic cause it has its good and evil sides. He didn’t want to put his nephew into danger he also didn't want his nephew to follow the same path as him, so eventually found another family who were muggles and made sure they didn't tell him anything until they didn't have a choice and if he experienced wandless magic.
First Instance of Magic: Brian Phillips' first instance of accidental magic was quite unexpected. At age six, he was playing with his toy car when it suddenly started to levitate in the air. He was both frightened and amazed by this sudden display of magic. When he learned the news, his adoptive parents, who were non-magical acted shocked and kinda nervous.

When Brian's father discovered he was a werewolf: Brian’s father was an excellent man while he was also a werewolf Brian’s father and Brian’s grandfather went camping because it was a family tradition that each generation would go camping but somehow always on the same night as a full moon and was bitten on that night which his father explained to him. Then when he went to Hogwarts he was getting the wolfsbane treatment every night but at his second year at Hogwarts he got detention and had to go with the groundskeeper into the forbidden forest and it was a FULL MOON He was helping the groundskeeper gather stuff when he felt strange he suddenly got hairier and taller then he was fully transformed into a werewolf. He couldn't control himself and accidentally attacked the groundskeeper but the groundskeeper was able to dodge and somehow get Wolfsbane to him to stop him and it luckily worked. since then he kept getting the wolfsbane treatment to control the transformation each night so he wouldn’t attack anyone ever again and also promise to himself to try not get detention again.
Brian’s discovery of when he found out that he may be a werewolf was when he was about to board the Hogwarts Express train and his Mother who was off of work at the time discussed that his father was a great man who was an auror and a werewolf which all of a sudden made sense because when Brian and his father went on a camping retreat to observe and photograph the full moon
Brian was attacked and bitten by what he believed to be a rabid dog. After the attack his father treated the wounds and then he thought back on the incident and recalled his father being abnormally calm and explaining what would happen next…
At first, Brian was scared that he could be a werewolf and that he wouldn the able to control it his mother told him that the headmaster and professors at Hogwarts already knew about this and they could help him further brian nodded and hugged his mom and got on the train waving goodbye. Once the doors closed he thought to himself what if the professors at Hogwarts couldn't help him what if he’s a lost cause? He doesn't want to hurt anyone but he slowly took deep breaths and calmed down saying it will be ok the professors are professionals they know what to do he just needs to calm down and wait until he gets there they will probably explain the situation to him. As Brian sat down he closed his eyes thinking of the interesting adventure ahead of him and how it was going to all play out.

Reason: I am pending your werewolf application in its current form, but you may try again with another werewolf application after heeding the following.
1) There are several mentions in your application of someone "not knowing" that they are a werewolf, or that "werewolves ran in the family." In Harry Potter lore, lycanthropy is not genetic. Your character's entire family being werewolves through genetics is impossible, as werewolves are made, not born. Please edit out the entire family being werewolves spanning back generations.
2) Additionally, how did your character's father "discover" that he was a werewolf? Turning into a werewolf every full moon is not a casual thing to miss, and he'd surely have known immediately; if not from forced transformations, then from the bite that made him a werewolf to begin with.
3) Getting bit by a werewolf leaves major scarring and bleeding. A victim would need immediate medical attention to survive in the most serious of cases. Additionally, there are rules on HiO about explicit mentions of parental abuse. You claim several family members are just casually biting each other, which can be considered abuse or neglect. Please take these into account while rewriting your application.
4) There is little to no backstory on your actual character, Brian Phillips. Please include more information on Brian and less on his father and uncle.[quote/]Closed (Lear) March 7

WC = 389Named after his grandfather, Vicente Hidalgo Torres, also known as Vince amongst his friends, was born in the coastal city of Iquique, Chile, on the first of May, 2012, as the eldest and only son of Chilean auror commissioner Ramon Hidalgo San Martin and his wife, Iwona Torres. The birth of their son marked a period of great happiness for the family, especially for Ramon, who considered his son a lucky charm as he succeeded in becoming an auror a few weeks after Vicente’s birth.
Growing up in Chile has been a bliss for Vicente. He spent most of his time at the San Martin family's house with his grandmother, and mother. However, he managed to have a great bond with his father through sports and other physical activities that helps strengthen the father-son bond. His father was a broom racer during his time in Castelobruxo, making the decision to give a sport influence to young Vicente, who quickly became fond of broom riding and was five years old when he started to join a couple of broom racing competitions.
In 2017, the family happily moved into an unplottable colonial mansion on the outskirts of Iquique, when their financial quality has improved a lot. Their happiness was further extended four years later with the birth of Vicente’s younger sister, Marina. It seemed as if the Hidalgo family’s happiness knew no bounds, yet a tragedy befell upon them. A few months after welcoming their baby girl into the world, Ramon and Iwona died from an explosion incident at a train station. Their deaths left an abysmal impact on the whole family, especially for Vicente, who was forced to witness it and lose his left eye during the same incident.
The Hidalgo siblings were sent to live with their muggle half-aunt in London, England, where Vicente attended a muggle school for the first time (and undoubtedly the last time). He faced many difficulties in his initial year at the school, having been privately tutored during his earlier childhood and being a target of bullying for his seniors. However, he was fortunate to receive support from his classmates. While spending his time in London, Vicente gradually became interested in cooking, doing puzzles, and lot of thanks to his muggle best friend, Easton Rockwood, he had an odd obsession with collecting shark plushies.
First Instance of Magic :
Reducio
Vicente's first magic ability happened in his first year in the private school when a wealthy, arrogant, bear-looking girl, whom he can't remember her name nor he even cared to remember, pushed him around during break time and made fun of him. He had his last straw on her when she decided to insult his dead parents, and the next thing he knew, he saw the girl hanging on the pole. It became the talk of the school for two weeks, and poor Vicente had 3 days of school suspension and a whole hour of lecture from his half-aunt.

Reason: Please specify what exactly happened when your character's parents were killed "from an attacking incident in a train station". Who or what killed them, how, and why? You don't have to write the entire scene, but index must have a general basis of what we are allowing prior to approval. For example, you cannot claim to have the reincarnation of Voldemort coming after your character, but a deadly accident or minor character (facing realistic repercussions) responsible for this is doable.
