History/Background Story: This would be your character’s life before Hogwarts as well as what has happened during your time at Hogwarts. Biography: Brain Phillips was born into a Wizard family in Leeds, England but grew up in a home with his uncle Alistair. Growing up, he had no idea that magic existed in the world. He was an avid reader and spent most of his free time buried in books. Brain was a curious child, always asking questions and seeking new knowledge. Alistair wasn't sure about the introduction of magic cause it has its good and evil sides. He didn't want his nephew to follow the same path as himself, so eventually found another family who were muggles and made sure they didn't tell him anything until they didn't have a choice and if he experienced wandless magic.
Below is to understand why Alistair didn't want to keep Brian.
Parent's backstory: John and Alastair Phillips were close to one another as children, but they grew further apart as soon as they were sorted into different houses at Hogwarts. John was a Gryffindor and Alastair was a Slytherin. Alastair found an interest in the dark arts and forbidden curses. John was the opposite and continued to try and talk his brother into doing the correct things. Alastair didn't want to hear it. A muggle-born girl named Katherin, a Hufflepuff, caught Alastair and John's eye in their second year. She was a beautiful girl; Blond hair, bright green eyes, and a slim yet built figure. Alastair met her through a quidditch game, he was a keeper, while she was the chaser for the Hufflepuff team. Katherin was constantly scoring on Alastair cause she was able to make him think she was going opposite ways. After the game Alastair went up to her and started talking to her, and they became friends. John met Katherin in his potions class by getting partnered together for a project. John found Kathrein attractive but fell for the cause of her smarts. Alastair found out that his brother was falling for the same girl and got upset about it, so one day Alastair snuck into the potions classroom and read through the potions book for a heartbreaker potion. Once he found the recipe, he gathered all the ingredients and made it. At the Gryffindor dinner table, he went over to his brother and sat next to him. “Can I offer you a drink brother?” he politely asked, “As a truce” John looked at him and smiled while taking the drink. “Thank you, brother.” He smiled at Alastair and took a long drink. After a second, he tasted something strange and saw the grin on his brother's face. He looked down at the drink and realized what it was. He got up and ended up shoving his brother down as he went to the Gryffindor corridors. As he got into the common room, he looked at himself and could feel the potion kicking in, as it did, he went into the potions classroom and found the book his brother used as he read through it completely. As he read what the potion could do, he grabbed the book, bookmarking the page, and went back into the Main Hall. As he walked in, he went over to the Slytherin table and slammed the book down in front of his brother. “Read it completely through.” He said it through his teeth. As his brother did his eyes widened realizing what he did. “Brother I-” he started but John interrupted “We are not brothers anymore. You did this and now there will be a Consequence”. As the years went on John Alistair and his brother never talked and they ended up graduating Hogwarts separately and never speaking again. Katherine followed John everywhere because over the years she had grown close to him. As they grew up together after Hogwarts, they got into the dark arts together and ended up having Brain Phillips. When the first Wizarding War happened, Katherin tried to run away with Brian as John fought the war. Katherin made it so far and found Alastair's house she put Brian at the door and rang the bell taking off to protect her child.
