Keep in mind, the only time Edme could access diagon alley ic is during the hogwarts holidays/breaks and you can only future dating by a single month so if you want them to get it the summer before their second year then you have wait a month unless you backdate to another holiday that passed

nopee.. homework is not mandatory, you can do it if you want to get house points and spells earlier but you don't have to do it to graduate. Everyone in index will move to next year in july iirc

I do think you have to let them know you want to move up to graduate though, but I can't remember. Unless that was only if you want to remain a first year for a second time.

As already stated, you do not have to complete homework to graduate. Every July, students are manually moved to the next year, assuming they are fully registered in the Official Index. Upon graduating, students will automatically learn the spells of the previous year without doing the homework. Homework is solely for gaining spells early or house points.

If a new user becomes fully registered before July, but wants more time to play out their first year, they can opt to remain a first year. You will have to let an admin know if you do not want to graduate.

The only time you would do that if you don't do homework- and you are fully registered- and you have opted to year up, then you can post the ency update form (encylopedia update thingy that we use), and then you can get all of the spells/potions. Your proof? Graduation.

I’m not saying anything about the trunk - automatic as in they are available without any homework. The update trunk process is of course implied in that. But thank you. A new user would need this information.

Is there a place I can see what abilities can be applied for? Also descriptions of the abilities.
